I frequent this location only out of necessity. With 2 small kids there are a few things in life that are a must — coffee and a drive thru. But they are notorious for getting my order wrong… and I only order 1 drink!!! I have driven off numerous times with a drink that isn’t completely accurate(regular milk instead of soy, etc) and 2 times was given the completely wrong drink. Also the drive thru line in the small parking lot is a horrible set up.

So unfortunately all Starbucks are not created equal. I have tried a few times to let them redeem themselves but it all started when I ordered one of their sandwiches on two different occasions and both times they just threw the sandwich in the bag and the whole sandwich fell apart and they actually gave me attitude when I nicely asked for a new and showed them the mess they tried to serve me. So last night I decided to give them another shot and just grab a caramel macchiato, so I go through the drive thru, place my order and what they gave me was the saddest excuse for any cup of coffee!!! It supposed to be hot and it was lukewarm at best, No caramel flavor and the whole thing was just milk. This is purely unacceptable for Starbucks, I have always gone to Starbucks because each of their stores make the same cup of coffee but this one clearly has a bunch of young people in there that honestly do not care about being consistent with Starbucks standards, my coffee is important and if I decide to stop by, spend 6.00 bucks on a cup coffee could you at least make it taste somewhat like it’s supposed to??? I couldn’t even drink it and because I was on my way to rehearsal I couldn’t go back and ask for a different one. So thank you Whittier Starbucks, you ruined my night and I will make sure to tell all of my coworkers and friends to go to Dunkin’ or Talia’s because Starbucks doesn’t care one bit about their customers anymore. Honestly the ones that work at the Target Starbucks do a much better job then these guys do. Don’t waste your time here. EVER!

I had an ISSUE with another guest at this establishment. This had nothing to do with the manager or employees(they all served me well btw) but they did come to my table and talked to the gentleman for me. Afterwards, a woman I believe to be the manager, asked if there was anything she can do for me; offered a complimentary beverage and/or dessert. I kindly refused since I had already bought both hot cocoa and a dessert. A few minutes later she came back with a gift both for my friend and I! I really appreciated how attentive she was and the quality of customer service. Even though it didn’t fix what had happened, the gift card was a nice gesture of her concern and a way of apologizing for another guest’s actions(which was not her or the establishment’s fault). I thought using the drive thru was going to be a convenience but I was definitely wrong. That was the longest wait I’ve ever had at any Starbucks. By the time I got to the window, I was ready to get my stuff and leave but I couldn’t even do that. They only gave me half of my order and then questioned me when I asked for it. I couldn’t believe it. They took that much time and couldn’t even get my order right. I definitely won’t be going to this Starbucks again.

my mom and I come to this Starbucks often. we always ask for light cream in our coffees the last 3 days they have put extra cream where we can’t even drink it. went back today after our coffee was wrong again and guy seemed annoyed he had to fix it. sorry but I’ll just go to the Starbucks in Von’s

12÷08÷15 I like to go to many Starbucks because it’s cool to see how others work and the way everything is set up. I really like this one! It’s roomy and there’s a good amount of seating, which is nice especially since I gotta get school crap done. Most importantly my drink was really good, they actually put the topping on my iced cinnamon dolce latte which other places don’t tend to when I don’t get whipped cream. A+!!! And the gentleman wearing the Santa hat spelt my name right which makes me happy af. I don’t really care if it doesn’t since I know it’s a little different but it’s always cool as shit when it happens(: thanks for being awesome!

Unfortunately bit into my reduced fat turkey bacon, egg white breakfast sandwich and the middle was cold! Ugh! Grossed me out, threw it away and didn’t have time to go back. People go to drive thrus because of convenience and lack of time, we expect at least a properly nuked $ 4 sandwich. Smh. Get it right Starbucks!

Just had a coffee from this location; barista poured a ½ cup(Large), when vat ran dry. He set the cup aside and informed me that he needed to brew a fresh batch. I kindly requested that he discard the half cup and pour me a fresh cup when ready. When I took the last drink and the gulp came full of grounds it confirmed that the barista had mixed my coffee after I had kindly asked for a fresh cup. This is not acceptable. This barista should not be working in the food service industry you are lucky I did not take down your name! Just don’t let it happen again, the next person may take your name and take appropriate action.

Starbucks is Starbucks overpriced coffee with free wifi. I do ultimately enjoy sitting in any Starbucks. So I guess the review should be based on customer service this location is just ok.

Joel at the drive thru was half asleep not friendly at all. Normally When I go to a Starbucks employees are very energetic and friendly. This guy was«its $ 7» after giving us our drinks«here you go»… No, hi how are you, or thank you, have a nice day. Didn’t seem like Joel is a happy Starbucks employee. His apron was dirty and he had not shaved from the weekend.

I was excited when this location opened as it has a drive thru which is so convenient. However, the drive-thru service is sooooooooo slow! I waited over 30 mins today to get through. That’s just ridiculous! To my surprise my drink wasn’t even made when I finally got to the window! Wth! Also, for some reason the drinks here always taste different than at other locations. Almost like they water them down. And when I’ve brought it up the barista they get an attitude, like It’s my fault! I rather go to the location at the quad. They are faster, friendlier, and accurate.

I frequent this Starbucks often as it’s the closest one to my house. They have a drive thru with parking that is blocked by the drive thru. I have literally waited 20 minutes in line just for a coffee. Today I was told I could not get a half caffeine hot coffee in the drive thru, I must either be forced to get a Americana or a different drink. I requested a poor over and was told they don’t do poor overs in the drive thru, I asked to start it and I would go out. After going back and forth they agreed. When I came to the window the barista was unsure if I could pay at the window, I explained I already have waited and will not wait in another line. This is ridiculous Starbucks I have been a customer for over 10 years and have not experienced this policy before, poor customer service and does not meet Starbucks philosophy!!!

I have no issue with the employees or the quality of the food or beverages I’ve ordered here. The issue I have is the length of time it takes to get through the drive thru. 90% of the time I have my 2 year old and my infant with me so a drive thru is so much easier for me. But this drive thru defeats the purpose of a convenient trip. It typically takes around 15 – 20 minutes in the drive thru here. I think once I made it in and out in 5 minutes. But the majority of the time it’s very slow. :(

Never have I been to a Starbucks where the customer service was the best… this place surpasses all my expectations and all my Starbucks needs. You can have a Starbucks anywhere but here, it always taste so good, they never fail me. And the customer service is amazing! !! Thank you all… you’ve made one Starbucks/caffeine addict very happy. This time I tried the drive thru and it was pretty fast. I couldn’t find parking so 8 had no choice. The coffee was definitely made to my preference and they were fast and accurate. The staff continues to surprise me with their great service and sense n of urgency.

My go to Starbucks since it’s minutes from my North Whittier residence. Yes the parking can be a pain here during peak hours but moving from the old location and offering a drive thru is a great perk and convenient! This Starbuck store is uniquely designed, eye appealing and different from any other Starbuck store I’ve visited. The staff offers solid service and if there was a hick up — the baristas have always made it right! Many people are against the big box businesses, but it does have its advantages. I never have to pay for water, extra cup or even ice like the smaller establishments that want to charge me for any extra request. In addition, the convenience of visiting a location anywhere in North America not to mention internationally is a huge positive. Having gold status in the rewards loyalty program has earned me many complimentary free food or drinks, free refills on coffee and ice tea and I heart the phone application. I heart Starbucks as my work office on the road, vacationing and take advantage of the thousands of stores and their consistent coffee baked items from La Boulange(locations in No. Cal and Los Angeles) and the changing menu offerings through out the year.

I was really excited to have a Starbucks with a drive thru finally open up next to me. And so was everyone else because this location is always packed! I went around 9:30pm and all the seats outside were full and there was a long line in the drive thru as well as a lot of people inside. The location is already on a busy street being that its on Whittier blvd. So there is always traffic coming here. I came in thru the alley way which was really hard to get in. There were a couple cars coming my way and some wanting to enter but the street is so narrow that you have to pull over and wait for them to pass. There is not a lot of parking or at least doesn’t seem that way since there were so many people and most spots were taken. It just felt so cramped in there. The design is very modern looking on the inside and out which I think looks very nice. There is also a lot of outside seating. When we pulled up to the drive thru the lady was nice taking our orders. I wanted a cream cheese danish but they were out which was disappointing because those are my favorite! I just got an iced peach tea. It was really good and will def get it again. I am not a fan of Starbucks coffee I just don’t like the way it tastes. I really enjoy their pastries and teas though. I plan to come here more often for my tea and sweet cravings since I can drive thru.
