Great prices, but they need to fix the AC. We couldn’t even enjoy our meal because we were sweating. The food was good, but just couldn’t enjoy it.

Not the cleanest place(silverware, booths, etc), but so nostalgic for me & the food is still good. Great steaks; just like I remember as a kid growing up going to the one on Lake in Pasadena(over 30 years ago). It’s a Carl’s Jr now. This is the last of the Mohicans(since the closing of the Azusa location). Bring your kids. They will love it and so will you.

Go in at 830 when they close at 9. Salad bar is closed, potato bar is closed. Asked why, waitress said when it’s slow we close early. Doors unlocked but no service.

We have had 4 generations going to eat at Steak corral. The menu is simple but very good. In actuality this is the only place I order steak at. Their beef has always been tasty and tender. My second choice is chicken and the grand-kids love the burgers. I also appreciate the fact that they carry a sugar free pie. I love the salad bar, all is good here Try it.

This place is awesome. I loved the steak. It’s very delicious and I really enjoyed the salad bar. It’s small and quaint but a hidden gem for locals. There croutons are so yummy!(They deep fry them) I’m glad I don’t live closer or I’m afraid I’d be overweight!

Love coming to this place service is Good, good stakes and really great prices. I been coming here for a couple of times now. My wife used to come here when she was a little Girl and that’s how I got introduced to this gem. I recommend this place the bake potatoes are great and I really like that you can create your own salad. Will definitely Will keep on coming back. The only thing I wish they will still have is the Indian headband with the feather. I heard they used to give those out …

The food is very good! It’s reasonably priced and the servers are very nice. I love that they have a serve-yourself-bar for steak toppings and baked potato toppings. I ordered the rib eye and my husband ordered the porterhouse. They both tasted really good. I highly recommend you come and try it for yourself.

I have been coming to Steak Corral since I was a small child. I absolutely love it. Fun décor and good steaks! Nice location with easy parking. Great restaurant with a build your own salad option and a baked potato bar. Usually service is good and food is always good. If there was ever an issue it was fixed right away. Definitely a must try place if you have not yet been!

My family loves it here, our daughter’s are always down to eat here as well as my husband. I myself don’t eat beef however get the fish stick dinner, don’t let the name fool you. They should rename them as I think they would sell better. They are a hidden jem on the menu, the best that I’ve had in a while. They are actually beer battered Pollock fillets and are my usual when whenever we go before that I got the chicken dinner which is very good as well. Like everyone else I can go on raving about the condiment bar, it really is good, I love the sautéed mushrooms, grilled onions, and cheese. My daughters like the aju sauce and shredded cheese. The facility is always clean and the staff is always nice and go out of their way to serve our table, they even get your refills for you. I can’t express how good the Ice Tea always is the have a tropical tea that is to die for.

My family and I went here for my grandparents anniversary. It was pretty good! The wait was kinda long but definitely worth it. Our waitress was really nice. My mom, aunt, and grandparents used to come here when they were younger before I was born. They loved it as kids! It used to have more going for it… they had better decorations, you could ride the wagon, write your name on the wall, etc. more stuff for the kids. It looks kinda run down. the whole cowboy theme is faded. They only have a wagon style salad bar & some random western decorations. BUT despite the décor of the restaurant the food itself is good. I did think the salad bar was dirty. All the knives, forks and spoons had water spots and crumbs. I washed my silverware with some water. The salad seemed fresh and they have a lot of sides. You can get as much as you want. You can go more then once if you add a salad bar as one of your sides. They have a basic soda fountain and a mini bar with some wine & beer. They have a wide variety of meat and chicken! They also have random fish sticks lol. With a meal you automatically get the cheese bread. Plus two sides of your choice. Salad bar, rice, cottage cheese, etc. My mom and I got the New York steak(definitely worth the money) my grandpa got the chicken, while my aunt and grandma got whatever was below that. My grandma said it tasted like liver. But she likes liver so if that’s not for you I would upgrade to the New York. There is a mini condiment bar with butter, aju sauce, onions, green peppers etc. However they only give you obnoxiously small cups to put the stuff in so be prepared to make many trips. I guess back in the day they would bring the platter to your table but they stopped that. The seating was a little cramped we had to have a chair in the aisle. But overall the meat was perfect and we all enjoyed our meals. I will be coming back!

Great food and great service is what you will find in this hidden spot. Haven’t been here in about 10 years and still just as good as I remember it. Prices are decent.

OMG, haven’t eaten at a Steak Corral since the one in West Covina closed down. Today was my Flashback saturday. Wait was typical for a Saturday night, about 20 minutes. Our party of 5 all got steaks, salad bar, and backed potatoes. Each steak was cooked to perfection, juicy & mouth watering. Ranch dressing was awesome, and the cheese bread is on point. Price wise you can’t beat it. 5 adult steak dinners $ 68

Before I came I was probably at least as interested in the décor as the menu, but in the end the food also turned out to be pretty good. I got the cheapest steak, and it was about what you’d expect for $ 9; it’s really the toppings for it(including onions, mushrooms, au jus, and gravy), the baked potato toppings, the homemade, deep-fried croutons and the(I would assume) homemade salad dressings that give it a little more than the appeal of a typical coffee-shop or diner steak. One thing I did find a little weird was that there aren’t any bacon bits at the toppings bar for the steak and the potato, you have to go back to the salad bar for those.

Maybe I’m just being nostalgic, but we love Steak Coral! We grew up going to the one in Covina on Azusa Avenue, I remember sitting in a high chair with a feathered headband! Not much has changed, good food and reasonable prices.

Since the babes is out of town, I decided to come here by myself and have steak… when I first walked in we had a slight seating problem place was crowded, so had to wait for a bit. Once I was able to order I got the porterhouse cut with fries and onion rings I know you purist out there say«why didn’t he get the potato»…snobs… Finally seated at a booth got my steak and boy it was totally worth it, it cut like butter it was really tender, the fries were good so we’re the onion rings, but the steak was really friggin good. Nice job guys… When she gets back in town this is where me and the babes are going to come for dinner…

It’s a unique experience! Passed by and and checked Unilocal, saw the 3.5 stars so decided to give it a try. I was lost for about 5 seconds in the restaurant, until a lady approached me and knowing this is my first time in this restaurant, she then introduced how everything work… So I make the order at the front counter, move on to get my salad bar and drink, pay and sit and wait… For a 10oz rib eye steak with 2 sides and a drink comes with it, only $ 12.45+tax, good deal! The steak is juicy, salad bar doesn’t offer a lot of choices but sufficient. The people are friendly, although the environment is a little«old» cowboy feel, it won’t give you any uncomfortable feeling. I would rather come here than going to some chain restaurants.

Yeah, you know you have a bad memory of a place from your childhood when you get food in front of you and find yourself saying… where’s the beef??? The steak here is pretty small & thin for the price. AND it’s like they forgot to season the meat before cooking it! YUK!

Old school steak house just the way grandpa likes it. Salad bar three dressings can you guess which ones they are. The thousand island is good. Steaks all reasonably priced quality is good for the price. Décor well my grandpa likes it. I really do like this place service is hit or miss management is a joke. I wanted a whole pie to go they said I couldn’t buy a whole pie because it was their last one I then asked can I buy 8 slices she said yes only after I told her that she was being stupid. She got even with me by cutting the pie in 8 slices and packed them individually that way she could say she won and I didn’t get a whole pie. Nice waste of containers.
