IHOP

Im only 15 and know this place is garbage. 30 minutes to get our drinks, all our orders were wrong,

I tried to stop at an IHOP at least once a year or two to remind myself of why I don’t eat at an IHOP. Consider me reminded. Poor service, eggs ordered over easy were hard and actually burnt. One of our party of six got her order half an hour after the fifth (kitchen lost her order).
Manager picked up the tab, but, the damage was done!

«Please come see us again but probably not on the weekends.»
That is what our server told us as we left. He couldn’t have been more right. To start, the manager had to tell the greeter to write the names of those waiting in the lobby. She was just standing there initially. I thought she was a customer. Our server was nice. But the kitchen was backed up. I didn’t mind waiting for the food, until my order was wrong, my daughter’s order was wrong, my husband’s order was wrong. I wish we had not wasted 60 min here. It was not worth it. The server knew it too. We will not be returning… ever.

After a long day at Kings Dominion we stopped in Williamsburg to get some dinner. The restaurant was clean. Our server Karl was super friendly and even added a personal trick pouring our coffee as if he were a bartender. It really added a little something special. The food was as expected. Karl brought the food out quickly but my son’s meal was a minute later. To apologize, Karl brought extra blueberry pancakes to him free of charge. He hustled around the restaurant even though it wasn’t very full at 9:30pm. We appreciate his friendly and prompt service. He definitely made our visit memorable. We got season passes to Kings Dominion so I’m sure we’ll stop in again and I hope Karl is our server again.

Stopped here while we were vacationing in Williamsburg because it was near our hotel.
Very disorganized. Three different servers came up to our table saying we had a different server.
Once we finally got menus we ordered and it took 30 mins for our food to come out. My French toast, eggs and sausage were cold but my potatoes were warm so I’m guessing they were left sitting while the cooks were cooking the potatoes.
Sent the French toast back for new ones and they replaced them.
As we were leaving there were at least 5 families waiting to be seated even though there were empty tables and severs standing around doing nothing. We saw one family just walk out.
We don’t live here so we won’t be retuning but we wouldn’t even if we did live here.

Really great value for the food you get, so tasty and the stuffed crepes are amazing!!! Definitely need to go again soon, I’m craving waffles and chicken!

Worst service. Piece meal delivery of food. Took 45 after order placed to get food. Eggs cold

For one, for someone who was traveling late at night, the customer service was very horrible. Simple instructions were ignored, very, very rude, and they turned the lights off on us. There was also yelling through the dining room to us that they were closing and even rushed us out of the building. Food was decent but the one on Rochambeau Rd by Walmart is A+!!

Very good meal, just a little slow. Perhaps eating at 3pm is tough on the kitchen.
All the dishes were good. The new double dipped French toast was good but could have been a bit more crisp on the outside. The BLT had the right proportions of everything. Waffle was good. And the breakfast crêpe was good!

Food was great! The people were so nice and helped us with directions. Would go there again.

Manager on duty the night me and family went was over the top nice! Delay on food and all, he kept on top of everyone and made us feel comfortable while we waited on the food. IHOP food doesn’t need a review. It’s IHOP! But I’d return for the service!

We had a party of 14 and they were able to put tabled together and we didn’t have to wait long to sit down. They assigned 2 servers to our table so it didn’t take to long to order. We ordered and while we waited since it took some time to get all the food out they made sure we had full drinks and coffee. The food came out and it was good and I was impressed that everyone got what they asked for. With such a large party normally something gets mixed up and this time it did not. The whole restaurant was busy, but the servers were always there to make sure we were taken care of. The bathrooms on the other hand were a bit messy and smelled like animals so that could have been cleaned. Other than that it was typical chain restaurant food but the service was good with how large our party was.

Like most IHOP restaurants I’ve been to recently, I have little to no complaints on their food. This location is no different. What I love most is the kids eat free after 4pm.
Coming back from Busch Gardens, my 8 year old suggested IHOP, so we went with this. Great choice!
They had a special for 2 omelets w/​pancakes for $ 10, so the wife and I went with the country omelet and the ham and cheese omelet. I upgraded to the pancakes to the Cinnabon style. The kids went with the pancake and chicken tenders and a side salad. We all had just water to drink. Management was on point with getting out food out quickly, despite a party of 30 in the building before us. Everything was EXCELLENT!
The best part was the check-​out. A family of four (2 adults and 2 kids) totaled $ 13.30!!! We paid more than that at Taco Bell the night before! We added a $ 5 tip, but mostly because of the management (not our server, who disappeared for most of visit, thus the reason for 4 stars).
We have season passes to Busch Gardens, so we will be back to this IHOP. If you have kids, go after 4pm, fill your bellies, and dance out of there with joy when you’re done!

Decent chain food better than area breakfast places. It’s a chain but clean and edible

Went here after visiting Busch Gardens for Christmas town for a late night meal. At first I had high expectations as IHOP usually fares well. However, the reviews of this place are quite on par.
First off, the only thing that made the service even a «2» was that the waiter was friendly. But the only counter to that was the fact that he was horrible. He didn’t refill waters, didn’t tend to us at all. On top of that the food was dry, incorrectly done and get this — in an omelette they actually left the paper that divides the cheese INSIDE the omelette. It was disgusting and just awful.
The bathrooms were disgusting. Upon walking in, I would’ve just held it if I didn’t have such a long distance to come home. To top it off when trying to check out, we had to wait 15 minutes of just standing there to pay our bill. Seriously? We could’ve easily walked out. Do not waste your time going here, you’ll be thoroughly disappointed.

We have been here an 1.5 and NO FOOD! Then, the food comes out and guess what! It’s COLD! Worst IHOP experience EVER!

Breakfast is always good at the IHOP, but what makes this one special is Alvaro. Alvaro was our server on two separate occasions and he is absolutely wonderful, perhaps the best waiter we have ever encountered. Without him, this would be a 3 star place, but he earns two stars himself.
If you find yourself here, do yourself a favor and ask for Alvaro’s section!

This IHOP was great. They opened at 6 a.m., I walked in at 6:35 a.m. being in somewhat of a rush, and I walked out at 7:05 a.m.
The lady who took my order was super nice, and super good at her job. She prompted my order when it came to options I could choose from, and she repeated it to ensure she had it correct. When the food came out, I had my card waiting, and the man took care of swiping it immediately so I could just get up and leave when I was finished.
The food, of course, being a chain, was consistent. Nice serving at a great price. Convenient location on Richmond Road, too.

Very good food (though I know I was given instant potatoes and the like). Everything was hot, and seemed cooked to order.
Friendly, efficient servers («You want me to make the eggs for you?»).
Don’t sit near the kitchen door. It looks like someone has been using lard for playground chalk there.

Had to go to Williamsburg to get my son from Ft Eustis and ate here his first day of Christmas leave. The service was awesome, especially for a tourist town, and the food was cooked as ordered, and delivered hot. Service prompt and friendly. All you can eat pancakes… what a great deal for a young soldier to chow down on. 10% Military discount, all the time, any location!!!
