One of my favorite gastropubs around. Fantastic menu, and when bringing guests it is rare to hear they had something ordered that they didn’t like. Great beer selection.(although, I’d prefer more summer seasonals). Their buffalo wings are one of my favorites anywhere, make sure you get them with«Sweet Heat» sauce. Fries and Fry Piles are also A+ material. Finally, I find it extremely difficult leaving here without ordering the Bourbon Bread Pudding for dessert. This is the most amazing and decadent dessert I’ve had anywhere. Imagine some of the best French toast you’ve ever had combined with flavors of a cinnamon bun, arriving hot and gooey, covered in house blend caramel with with scoops of ice cream on top. Even if everything else was terrible and the bread pudding was the same, Two Stones would get five stars for the bread pudding alone.

Way overpriced. Walked here for St Patrick’s day dinner with kids. Typical yuppie crowd. Irish menu, $ 20 for Irish Mac N cheese and it’s not even very good. Skimpy servings on everything. We’ll go get dessert elsewhere.

Beer selection? Fan-freakin-tastic! Food? Pricey but delicious! Service? Needs work, man!!! I went on a Sunday at around 1230 and was greeted(with dead eyes and a forced smile) by a hostess who looked like she was being held hostage. The place was not bustling. Seats were filled but this is Sunday brunch in Delaware(way less chaotic than other areas). The servers on the floor seemed to be consistently occupied checking on their tables and doing sidework the whole time I was there. The bar was almost full when I arrived but again, not busy. Everyone had a beverage already and was watching the various games on tv. The bartender was friendly but she moved slower than molasses. At first, I thought it was my spoiled and thirsty«I want my beer 5 minutes ago» mentality but another guest next to me made mention of how he could just reach around the bar himself for a beer if he continued to be ignored. She often stopped to do sidework at length in between my orders as well as other patrons’. So, maybe if there was a barback or a second bartender on who could split the bar coverage right down the middle, the experience would have been different. Also, this isn’t the first time I’ve had an experience like this at this location so I don’t think I’ll be back. I’ll check out the Kennett location next time… just not on a Sunday.

I’ve been here a few times and enjoyed it every time. The beer selection if great 23 Taps, all crafts. They apparently have a brewery(or seem to) they have collaboration beers as well. It would be nice if that was more clear, the signs all say 2SP ?? Oh I get it… I’m dense when I see good beers. I was also happy to go on Tuesdays when they donate some proceeds to the duPont Children’s Hospital, nice touch. The food is excellent, high end touches to standard pub grub, thoughtfully prepared. I love wings with interesting available here only flavors and they had a few. imaginative and tasty. They smoke their own BBQ and it is so tender it melts in your moth. Prices are good and service is okay, the waitstaff at tables need to study up on the beer selection a little. Staff is friendly enough but the bartender could pay attention to ALL customers, I tended to see her chatting up a few people and forget about the rest of the bar for more than a few minutes. The bar is tiny so there is no excuse for that. Service quality is the only reason I dropped them a star, but that can be corrected pretty easily with just a few words from a manager…

Very poor service. Only 2 other tables and the waitress couldn’t get anything right!

Just had an awesome dinner here! After a great discussion with the bartender discussing and tasting options, we selected a beer and were already called to our table(this is at 7:30 on a Sat nite). Hubby had the chef special mac-n-cheese which was just ok until we added the side of buffalo sauce that I ordered to dip french fries in(try this, you will love it!). I had pulled pork tacos without the mayo based slaw. Tons of great, lean tasty pulled pork and a few random spring onion slivers, plus that side of buffalo sauce, was totally amazing(and I am a Carolinas girl). Caution: Sit in the back section to avoid the very high noise level.

Love this place. Went here for the first time on a date night– cozy atmosphere, warm and friendly servers with great recommendations. Entire staff was knowledgable and encouraged us to sample beers tailored to our liking. I got the hummus plate and my dining partner got the warm pretzels– both were absolutely delicious. Can’t wait to return.

BRUSSELSPROUTSBRUSSELSPROUTSBRUSSELSPROUTSBRUSSELSPROUTS. They are to die for. We will be making a trip specifically for them. Honestly was not a fan of the tacos that I got but the Brussel sprouts 100% made up for it. Great service and ambiance.

I don’t eat out a lot — I guess because I’m in the food business, but when I do I am often left unhappy with either the food, or the service. Last night Amy and I tried Two Stones Pub up on Foulk Rd. for the first time and I have to say that the entire experience exceeded my expectations. We were greeted by friendly and knowledgeable hosts, then seated at a high-top table in the bar area. The place had that«Cheers» feel — so much so that for a moment I was waiting for someone to yell out; Norm! Our server knew the menu like servers are supposed to and we took her up on both her drink and food recommendations. We started with the hummus plate and then we each had the fish tacos. As the food curmudgeon(coming soon ) I have to complain about something — The food was so good, so aptly presented and so generous that we could not finish everything. That’s all I have to complain about. It’s obvious that the kitchen staff and front of the house staff are all«on the same page» and what that means for guests is that you can expect to have a great experience at Two Stones Pub! We can’t wait to make our second visit — this time we will order less food and maybe more drink… Chef Anthony Stella — /chef

Incredible. I have never had a bad experience here and I frequent this establishment. Would recommend to anyone! I enjoy their beer flights to get a good seasonal sampling of the brews available and then I will choose a pint later. Their pretzels and wings are to die for!

My boyfriend and I stopped at this place before heading to Longwood Gardens for Nightscape. The only thing we didn’t like was that we don’t live close enough! I would be a regular here if it wasn’t so far. Perfect spot to grab a few local, craft beers and some intriguing food. As sushi lovers we had to try the chorizo«sushi» roll and it was so worth it especially with the BBQ soy sauce and wasabi avocado spread — HEAVEN. We also had the insane stacked nachos paired perfectly with the habanero pineapple rum. Will definitely have to go back to Longwood just to go to this place! We’ve been recommending it to everyone who is going out to see Nightscape.

I really like this place. They redid the menu and the have some nice new selections. If you are into middle eastern food, try the lamb meatballs. Nice little plate with many tasty little garnishes and pita points– tzatziki, tomato coulis, cucumber and feta with a spray of arugala. The crab dip comes with pretzels and nacho chips for dipping. The dip is very rich and very crabby. We ended up dipping our fries in it — yum. This looked like a small portion but could easily feed three as an app. We also split the fish and chips. Great fish, good fries, but the cole slaw was sleepy. I would go for all of these things again and try out other things on this menu. The beer choices change frequently so don’t get too stuck on a favorite. Service was good but our server was a «soft-talker».

I’d actually rate this a 3.5 stars if I could. Our one and only experience so far was better than average but not stellar. The menu offered a good selection of traditional and atypical pub fare. We ordered two burgers, each cooked to different temperatures, but when they came out, they looked the same. Still, the burgers were really tasty and good-sized. The brioche bun was a nice touch. We each upgraded to two different types of fries(sweet potato & truffle), but neither were really worth it. They had a good selection of spirits in addition to beer, but whoever was behind the bar wasn’t a very good mixologist. Very attentive and pleasant server. I’m willing to go back for a second try as in general there aren’t very many good local joints around our area.

Amazeballs. I had a great app, a great entrée and two delicious draft beers. We call that the headline. Now, here’s the rest of the story. While there was a brief wait for a table, there were a couple of spots open at the bar for me to enjoy a Dogfish Head draft and wait. Halfway through the beer, my table opened up and I paid that tab and moved over. A great waiter was not disappointed that he’d missed out on this first beer, but I assured him that a second one would be ordered soon. But in the meanwhile, I ordered the«Hot & Spicy fries» to start. A good portion with some pepper jack cheese, some chopped green onions and a good amount of sriracha on top of crispy fries was tasty. And a half portion is definitely enough for two as a starter. For main, while the specials tempted me(BBQ pulled pork with mac & cheese? Braised short ribs?), I decided on the jägerschnitzel. A very large portion of pork in a crispy batter was excellent. In fact, too much shnitzel that I left a big piece of it behind, which made me sad. Very tasty, really yummy. The side of blaukraut(German Red Cabbage) was nice and tart. The spätzle was also quite good. But it was the shnitzel that really killed it here. Delish! A very filling meal with good service in a nice pub-style restaurant that had free wifi? Awesome. And a big thank you to the Wilmington Unilocal community, without whom I would not have found this gem.

This restaurant I have different opinions on. Their brunch I do enjoy. Every time we have gone here it has been delicious. Hubby loves their French toast and I usually get the omelette special they are having. Dinner was good. Hubby enjoyed the different choices of beers they have. I thought their mixed drinks were a little pricey. I had their Bloody Mary and it was around $ 8 – 9. If I would of had two I would have spent close to $ 20 already for dinner. Lunch is okay but to me it cost to much considering they don’t offer a lot of options for lunch. The items they offer are almost the same at any other restaurant for a lower price. It seems they do have specials for lunch thru the week but not weekends. Hubby had a Reuben sandwich with fries and a beer. I had the chicken salad sandwich with pasta salad(pasta salad tasted weird) and a White Russian and we shared a bowl of soup cost $ 45 without tip. One item I would love to try is their nachos I hear they are so good and you do get a lot but I just can’t bring myself to pay $ 15 for an order of nachos. I wish they would offer half an order. I love that this restaurant post theirs specials on their website everyday and some with photos. I definitely recommend this restaurant for brunch and dinner if you don’t mind spending a more for dinner.

If this place was in the city it would be run by hipsters . Pretty decent draft list and great specials on food and snacks had my first beer mosa here and was impressed though I wish it wasn’t 10.00. Service is hit or miss, though the last few times we’ve sat at the bar. Go for Hh —

Tried this place twice now. Good beer selection. Food is ok. Maybe on the better side for bar options and eating. Atmosphere is decent for a strip mall. Seems pretty clean and the staff is friendly.

Early start of the st. Patrick’s day weekend with a delicious pint of delicious beverage. I think that the beverage should be accompany by amazing meal and a sexy accomplice such as the girlfriend which took off for the early start. Our bartender today was Carmen who was so cool and entertaining. She was on top of things and entertaining the patrons. Food was delicious staff stopped by to say hello and ask how thing were. Thumbs up.
