Mary’s Pizza Shack

It’s Friday night and a full day of barrel tasting we had to get some bread to absorb all this wine. The chicken wings were good and the vegetarian pizza was ok. I don’t remember much of the dinner cause I was drunk.

We have been eating at various Mary’s Pizza Shacks for some time, but recently we were disappointed with the quality and value for money at the Windsor location.
We ate in and had a reasonable pizza, but the price was $ 30 for a large, that is very high.
A few days later we ordered another pizza for take out, and ordered the same toppings, but the one we got to take home was nowhere near as good as the previous one we had in the store, which was only OK. I guess it’s variation between the different pizza makers.
Poor pizza and high prices has us now looking for other options.

Inconsistent quality and service. We have had some good meals dining in but delivery/​pickup is a hit and miss with often cold food and mistakes in what we get or poor quality. Recently we ordered 3 large pizzas for a special occasion totaling a little over $ 100 that we picked up at the designated time. These pizzas ended up being the WORST pizza’s we have ever eaten. Upon serving the pizzas we noticed that the bottom of two of the three were burnt and tasted as such and all three pizza crusts were extremely tough, as though we were eating a piece of overcooked jerky, making it VERY difficult to eat. Very disappointing as we were celebrating a special occasion with family and friends leaving us all hungry as the pizzas were inedible not to mention the $ 100 down the drain. I immediately called and spoke with the manager explaining the situation, he didn’t seem that concerned but after repeating several times how dissatisfied I was he finally said he would compensate us by sending us out certificates. A week later we received three $ 10 certificates good towards Mary’s food. Not a happy customer, I expected to be compensated for at the very least the cost of the two burnt pizzas. Tonight I tried ordering a pizza using the 3 certificates (a large pepperoni pizza delivered $ 30), I was told I could only use one of the three certificates. I said forget it. The bad experiences here have outweighed the good ones and this last one, as the saying goes,
«was the last straw». We won’t be back.

Sarah helped me with an order on the phone and managed to deal gracefully with my many quirky allergy requests. She also changed my order FOUR times. She never seemed irritated and was so patient. The pizza is always tasty. Customer service today was an absolute ⁵⁄₅. Thank you Sarah.

There is no other taste like Mary’s Pizza. This is an all time favorite of mine.

The very first visit here was over one year and a half ago. We was so satisfied that we decided to give it a second chance. The pizza was excellent including Hot. We just did not remember if we had draft beer or bottled Budweiser.
First and foremost we called before arriving and asked if they served Budweiser beer the lady that answered stated that they did. Then I asked if it was draft beer and the lady stated yes. Of course by the time we arrived the waitress says no Budweiser at all. That they were discontinuing selling Budweiser and Bud Light. We should have left after hearing the sad news. We decided to order a build your own large pizza with mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, Canadian bacon, grilled chicken, Italian sausage and extra garlic. We waited for at least 45 min. only to receive the hot pizza with no mushrooms on it at all. We requested the waitress to return the pizza and to have mushrooms placed on it as ordered. 15 – 20 minutes later we receive the pizza back with mushrooms and the pizza was not hot just cold.
It’s a shame that we decided to leave and pay for our soft drinks only. Of course we left the pizza. The waitress had no clue of this situation. Management needs to train their cooks to check the orders before leaving the counter.
Now you have a dissatisfied customer.
We will not return again.
The star is for having a clean bathroom.

The food is always good but the service is consistently poor and the delivery times are usually pretty long. I would eat here more often if they could get things together. Every time I go in there are a ton of employees working but they seem to be doing more chatting with each other than working.

The kids really wanted pizza tonight so we found Mary’s on Unilocal.It was so good. The blue cheese dressing on the wedge salad was amazing. Everyone raves about the bread sticks and the pizza was delicious. Top it off with great service and great prices … I would come here again if we come back through Windsor

Gluten free pizza just okay. My parents really liked their regular pizza. I ordered a large Cesar salad and when I got it it was a joke. There was barely any lettuce and just a sprinkle of croutons. I paid $ 10 for a little bit of lettuce. Shot to the heart! I showed the lady and she felt badly of course and put more lettuce in the container. When I got home I realized, where’s the cheese?! Do these people not know how to make a simple Cesar salad, wow.
On a customer service side note. I left my mom at Mary’s to run an errand and when I picked her and the food up she got in the car and said, «the pizza guy just kept yelling so loudly about how it was too busy and he was the only one working today. I thought it was a show they were putting on to entertain us while waiting, but then I realized it probably wasn’t.»
Laugh out loud, mom! Haha

I Have only been to Marys a couple of times. Each time it has bee pretty good. Tonight was the same. We started with salads mine a ½ wedge that could have fed a small army in xxx. Hers was a house salad. Both were crisp and fresh. Dressing tasty too. Them a combo Pizza that has the best Italian sausage of all time. It was very busy and they were short handed this night. It was of to a rocky start but they quickly recovered and our meak was great!

Pizza was good. I gave them 2 stars based on the price. 2 large pizzas and a large house salad for 70.00 dollars. 1 pizza had half just cheese and the other half was pineapple and sausage. The other pizza had salami, bell pepper and mushrooms. Way over priced for pizza.

i had always hear rave reviews about Mary’s pizza. I had tried their minestrone a few years ago and enjoyed it. Yesterday we went and got cheese pizza, hawaiian style, sausage, and pepperoni… OMG…TASTY! all of them. THe slices were huge, the crust is thin and not too crispy or chewy… just perfect, and overall the pizzas tasted A-​MA-​ZING! yum!

Good food but if you order the Gluten Free pizza, get prepared to get ripped off. They charge for every single topping and a very small pizza costs over $ 25.00. I ordered 2 pizza’s for delivery and paid almost $ 60! This is ridiculous. However, the pasta and meatballs are really good. Suggestion, don’t order Gluten Free and eat in.

Is it amazing mind-​blowing pizza? No, but it’s quite good. I give them 5 stars because I really had no complaints. We did get a pizza that I didn’t care for, but that’s just my taste, not because they did anything wrong. The one I did like was pretty awesome. Some kind of meat and mushroom thing. LOTS of mushrooms, which made me super happy. Most places skimp on the shrooms, and they didn’t.
Service: really they shine on service. The guy who took care of us was great. very attentive and so nice. We had a pretty big group and he was really accommodating, kept the drinks full, and was just pleasant to interact with.
Great place for pizza. I’d absolutely go back.

First time here at the Windsor location. I got the Grilled chicken pesto sandwich and man was it yummy it came with minestrone soup. I love the pesto but decided to try something new and I wasn’t disappointed.

I absolutely love this Mary’s. Solely for the pepperoni, mushroom pizza and the calamari and the service. I order the same thing every time because I love these dishes. The house salad is great too! As for the other dishes, I have no opinion for I have not tried them.

I don’t know if this place had gone downhill or if there are just sooo many better options. Either way I’ve stopped going here. The standard crust pizza is soggy and the thick crust pizza is awful, just awful. We got delivery last time and it takes over an hour, round table take 30 minutes and I hate to admit it but I like round table better although we don’t go there either.
People who have been gong to Mary’s for years know to order as many small pizzas as your want and they’ll be fine, but ordering a large means the middle 6 inches are soft soggy, and fall apart. The staff has always been 16 – 17 year olds, so expect inexperienced staff.
My fiancé call this Mary’s fat shack because he’s a pro athlete and there’s nothing healthy on the menu, I remind him that Italian food is what it is.

We rarely eat takeout, but we were staying over night in town wine tasting, and were too tired to go dine at a restaurant, and wanted something out of the down town area.
Ordered a Meatball & Caramelized onion pizza, small caesar add on for $ 3 & a pasta dish.
Everything was solid, except the caesar salad could have been better.
Service was ok & probably wouldnt hesitate if i was ever in the area again.

i just ordered delivery from Mary’s Pizza Shack. Staying at a local hotel, and my son finally lay down for his afternoon nap, and I knew there was no way on earth I was going to wake this child up. I heard good things about Mary’s overall, and I was not disappointed.
The person taking my order was accommodating and polite. They apologized for the amount of time it was going to take to get the delivery over (I was calling during lunch rush, so sure, I was okay with that), and they were accurate, and actually overestimated by a few minutes. The pizza arrived hot, along with the other foods. Their bruschetta was separated for delivery, but the flavor was excellent, and the bread was crisp. The pizza dough had a good chew, and the flavors were good, and balanced. Just enough of each topping. I’d go in there again, especially with the family, because I think my little guy is going to love this place.

Lunch specials are good — pepperoni pizza & salad = $ 7.95
Good service for sure, outdoor seating is a plus, son loves the bread sticks.
That said, I’m just not a fan of the pizza IN COMPARISON to my favorite spots in Santa Rosa.
