I loved this place! Went on a summer evening and sat on the patio. There was a great duo singing and the atmosphere was so fun and inviting. I highly recommend the Mayan Pizza and the Vegetarian Pizza! Both are delicious! Overall, a great dinner spot in the Woodstock square!

Lunch was delicious and service was great. The calamari was exceptional and shrimp scallop pasta was uuumm! My husband loves a good crisp pizza and he was very pleased. Fire Stone is consistently a great place to eat!

So many things wrong with this place. To many people working at one time. I counted about six people just standing their one their phones. The bar by the wood stove where they made the pizza was extremely terrible. The only good thing about my experience here was the waitress. I think her name is Kellie. She was fantastic. If y’all go there make sure you ask for her. She made this experience so much better.

Nice atmosphere inside and outside on the patio. The spinach artichoke dip is very good and the pizzas are big enough for two people. We ordered the smoked chicken bacon ranch pizza to share for lunch. It did not look like any of the posted pictures, looked like it maybe was missing some toppings? But still good. We waited forever for the food and it was not crowded at all. We overheard our server tell the table behind us that the kitchen staff was new and had not gotten their pizza right. So I am assuming that was the issue. I am sure it will be improved after they are trained well. Also, I was sad to see that the fig and prosciutto pizza is no longer on the menu. That was my favorite. All in all, a decent place in cutesy downtown Woodstock.

I hate giving any local business a less than stellar rating, but hopefully the management will take this to heart. We arrived at Fire Stone at 5:00 on a beautiful Saturday evening. Our party of 5 opted to sit outside. After waiting about 5 minutes we were seated. Our server was pleasant, she is not the reason for this rating. Upon ordering or appetizers, I noticed that items that were listed on their online menu were not on the actual menu. I asked the server and she responded that they were in-between menus. Ok? I asked if they had the hummus, which was not listed on the actual menu. She said that they did have that item. I asked if there were any other items that they had that were missing from the menu. Her answer — no? Here’s the thing; the menu on their Unilocal page is different from the actual menu. This is frustrating for the people that look at the Unilocal menu when choosing to eat here. We ordered the hummus and the Bleu Cheese Chips. The hummus was really good. I really liked the honey on top. This was by far the best dish of the night. The chips were just ok. I would’t order these again. We opted to share the Wedge Salad($ 7.00) and the Mayan Pizza($ 17.00). The salad came out very, very small. It really needed more toppings. Not tasty at all. The whole reason I ordered the Mayan was due to it having short rib meat on it. Unfortunately, the short rib was uneatable due to the high salt content. I honestly just picked the corn off the pizza and ate that. The service from the male that was the food runner was very unwelcoming. No smile, no manners, no nothing. I fully understand that this person may have been young, but if you are going to employ anyone at a restaurant, they better be able to smile. This is in such a great location and has a really great atmosphere. I sincerely hope that they step up their game.

Had a great time here today for their KSU Jazz fest. The food and beer were good. Our waiter was a little slow but things happen. I would love to bring my friends here.

So freaking loud!!! So loud. Did I say it’s loud??? Loud loud loud Who does live music with concrete floors and no sound acoustics? You can’t even hear yourself think. The noise makes the entire meal miserable. Tried to enjoy a pleasant evening with the wife and it’s unbearable. Do not go here unless you have earplugs!

This is a super late review, as I dined here with an old friend about 2 months ago, but this restaurant is a true gem. Given the name, I expected everything on the menu to be about the pizza, but I was totally wrong. I had the idea that this would be something like Antico in midtown, but Fire Stone had an ambiance that more closely resembled a nice steakhouse that also has wood fired pizzas. I had one of the BEST steaks with mushroom risotto that I’ve ever had that evening. It’s a nice quiet restaurant. From what I remember, the wine list was decent, but the menu was incredible — we both enjoyed our meals thoroughly. Check this place out — you’ll be pleasantly surprised!!!

I very rarely want to give someone three stars… It has to be pretty bad for me to do that. The calamari was brought out and tasted awful. It was just not pleasing and I would never suggest ordering do this. I was told by my server who was very nice, the Cuban sandwich was just amazing. It was a lunch special that was just not so nice. The meet was all fat on the sandwich and just dry. I started with a bowl of the baked pot soup. This was the best part of the meal. The pizza we ordered(the grand) was not bad, but not that great. Overall, I will for sure not come back.

We had a very nice lunch here today. We started with an order of hummus as a starter. It came with fresh carrots and celery. Plus bread that was like fresh made naan bread. It was excellent. That was followed by a cup of chili and the Bbq chicken pizza. The chili was good but the pizza was excellent. A very good meal for $ 22. Service by Jim was efficient and friendly. We recommend this place and are looking forward to coming back

Great little pizza place. I would say they probably have the best pizza in the area, I’ve been multiple times and never been disappointed. Ingredients on the pizza seem to be fresh and not pre-packed ingredients. Friday/Saturday night’s they’ll usually have music and/or the outdoor fireplace going which lightens the mood a little bit. Price is a little high however, so this is definitely not a weekly trip. Staff is the only thing holding this place back I believe, they’re generally slow, and don’t seem well guided.

This place has the most amazing spinach artichoke dip ever! Their pizza is one of the best I’ve ever had with super fresh and high quality ingredients. I make sure I come here at least once a month to get my food fix.

In the past we have enjoy the food(if not the service) here, but only come when there’s a special menu(restaurant week or something). Never had a pizza from these guys. Saturday night, the only thing that shown above The Olive Garden was our apps. Entrees were overcooked and dry with lackluster presentation(this was our second experience with the chicken and it fell short of the first time we had it), desserts sounded good but were uninspired in their execution, and service was… I have no words. IF you go to Fire Stone: 1. Do not allow them to sit you right in front of the indoor fireplace. or perhaps ask them to pull the table back so you are not literally sitting two feet from the fire. 2. Get your drinks from the bar. You just don’t know how long it’ll be before you see your server.(maybe just sit at the bar, they seem to really have their act together up there) 3. Go for the apps and skip dessert. The fried spring rolls are AWESOME, and they even make spin dip interesting. The cheesecake was literally popped out of a muffin tin. Good luck.

I’ve eaten here a few times and have been very happy with my meal. The pesto pizza is one of my favorites. Not as crazy about the mushroom. Chicken and Artichoke Burger at lunch is also good. My GF loves the Crab & Avocado Tower, I’m not as crazy about it as her. We’ve had great service each visit, Wesley was one of our best servers. We’ll keep coming back.

I really can’t say much about this place. The staff is slow and the pizza although supposedly gourmet, is not that awesome, actually not even mediocre, especially after the prices. Kids menu needs to be jazzed up a bit as well. I know this is a pizza joint but kids need more options on there menu other than fried chicken fingers, mac and cheese and pizza. Can we get just one healthy option on there? Doesn’t really matter I guess because we will not be back.

Went here a few weeks ago for a lunch meeting. Very nice place with a lot of space. An open kitchen along the back wall to watch the pizzas being made. I ordered just a regular cheese pizza which was delicious. I had them put fresh mozzarella cheese on it and it was the right call. I’ll definitely be back.

This is a really cool place in downtown Woodstock that I wish I remembered to go to more often. It’s a little more upscale, but still pretty casual and has a lot of great items to offer. I recommend the bruschetta and the pizza. They have seasonal menus that are fun to check out and many different drinks. There is outdoor seating with fire places outside which really adds a nice atmosphere to this restaurant.

Well I have given up on this place 7 visits over the past few years and only 1 was good. Service is spotty at best. Never consistent or friendly. Calamari isn’t edible. Pesto pizza and fig pizza are still stand outs but prices have increased yet again. The amount of smoke that fills the dining area is overwhelming, the wait times are always long, too many great places in downtown Woodstock to keep overpaying for poor service and mediocre food. Too bad a really cool atmosphere and design with poor execution.

Tonight’s meal was to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The meal was very good food. The customer service was marginal at best. Pictures is hummus which is a staple of ours. Very very good

The wood fired pizza is yummy. Try the chicken sausage one. It is big enough to share. The hummus is to die for. You get a HUGE amount of hummus with pita and veggies. The have daily specials including $ 10 pizzas on Monday. Half off wine bottles on Wednesday. The drink menu has something for everyone. Many craft beers and other drink specials. The patio is great in the fall and spring. A very large fireplace warms you in the wintertime. I checked in with Unilocal when I was here and received a free dessert. Yippee!!!
