I really have enjoyed living here so far, pretty quiet and full of adults unlike some of the other apartments I checked out. It is pretty close to post and Walmart is right next door. I have no complaints so far and I hope it stays this way.

I just finished talking to another of my highly upset neighbors here in the Tustin community. We both have been here for a decent amount of time. To start off, no one has any idea who the owners of Tustin are. When talking to those in the office, they mention talking with the owners about various complaints residents have. The owners are really just the man behind the curtain and it’s doubtful that they are even contacted. So what is wrong with Tustin? The apartments are built extremely poor, just thrown together. Handles break off doors, walls crack, and numerous other issues. There are so many people renting here and only one small strip of grass to walk their dogs. The dog poop disposal is full in much less time then the office changes the bag. Same goes for the garbage area which is packed full of recycling for a very long time before being picked up again. The compactor for trash often is covered in maggots and slime. The Construction Now being that I have spoken to many people who have been here since before the construction even started. Who were promised that construction would only be from morning to early afternoon monday-friday. And soon found that they had been lied to. The construction begins at about 6:45−7am and goes until about 5pm. Weekends too. At this point in the construction. Doors have been put on the new buildings, but nothing to keep them closed. So during the night, the wind tunnel slams doors open and closed all night long. So not only do we all get to listen to loud racket all day but also all night. Many Residents still go to the office and complain however they haven’t yet realized it doesn’t ever do any good. The people in the office will smile and tell you what you want to hear and maybe send out a memo once in awhile when it’s regarding residents fixing the problem(like dogs on leashes, and picking up their poop). If it’s a problem the office needs to fix though or a suggestion. It will not change. The only reason most people that I’ve spoken to live here still is because this apartment complex allows pets. Including bigger dogs and breeds other places do not allow. However for that reason maybe they Should make it more luxury for the dogs and give them a place to run. For the extremely high price of living here and the fact that with construction, and all these other problems. I do not suggest getting trapped into a lease here. It really is not worth it. If your looking for a place that allows pets(I do believe this is mainly the only option), however my pet doesn’t even like it here.

I had a tour of the apt complex and the office lady was horrible, looked like she hated her job and couldn’t answer any questions. Super rude.

The absolute worst apartments I have ever lived in. Considering the 920 $ in rent you pay a month for a tiny one bedroom or over 1000 for a two, the quality of the apartments is awful. You can hear almost everything happening around you. That I know, is a common thing in most apartments, but when you can hear the man above you receive a text message, there is something wrong with the way the place was built. The walls are paper thin, literally every footstep, bath, washer and dryer load, toilet flushing above you, you can hear! Not only that, but if you do plan on living here, don’t expect to receive your water bill on time. ever.(Im talking 3 months after you should have received it, and then getting three at once) Ask anyone there about that one. On top of that, the office girls are the worst. Don’t expect any of your requests to be taken care of, or even a friendly hello when you walk in to pay your monthly rent. This apartment complex is also full of little clauses and twists and turns as you’ll find out after living there for a few weeks. Also if you walk in and have any sort of question, be ready for an «not sure» «I’ll try to find out» and never ever hearing back. They removed two of the managers previous to the new two, and one of them was just as bad. Don’t be fooled by the sweet attitudes when you first walk in, it is most certainly a show. Once you sign that contract for six months, or a year, It comes off as though you are nothing to them but a check. I would NEVER suggest living here and I am not one to give negative feedback at all. Just trust me. And if you do decide to, make sure you interview a resident so they can tell you what I just told you. The quality of the complex, the staff, everything. Truly a one star place. Cheers!

One of the staff members(charlene) called me today questioning on why I wrote a negative review, she talked to me like I was an idiot and didn’t understand a word she was saying. Not very happy at all. I know for a fact there is multiple residents who are dealing with the same issue, and obviously it isn’t being corrected. Definitely stay away from this place, the office girls are a nightmare. We didn’t have any issues until they replaced the office staff, we loved living here prior to them.
