Dinner for 8. Classic American Faire, outstanding meal. Much like House of Prime Rib, Original Joe’s and Vanessi’s in San Francisco. If you’re looking for a light meal, low carbs… dine elsewhere. Service was great. Make reservations and and don’t arrive late, Google Maps is off on this one. Order this: Caesar Salad, Scampi with pasta, ribeye burger, Blended Margarita, ribeye, lobster, shrimp bisque. Dessert: flan and a MUSTHAVE, CORNCAKE with vanilla ice cream. Pass on the pineapple pie. Edith’s coffee is delicious but should be shared. Great food. Thanks Unilocalers!

I understand this place is a steakhouse. However, if you can’t make basic dishes like chicken enchiladas or chicken fajitas taste delicious, I worry about other dishes. The ambiance is colorful and fun. The servers were friendly but not very attentive. We had to flag them down. I ended up ordering more beans and tortillas because I didn’t eat my chicken enchiladas meal. The servers did deduct a meal from the bill because we didn’t enjoy. That was very good customer service. I really wanted to love this place given all the reviews, recommendations, and Unilocal ratings. Bummer. Not authentic tasting to me. Perhaps the steak dishes are better. Sad day.

Fairly«traditional» Mexican food, at least by American standards of what that means. But still, even with all the kitschy qualities(colorful Mexican decorations, a roving mariachi band, Mexican coffee made table side with fire show, same for the bananas flambé) it still is delicious and a lot of fun. The Baja Shrimp is really terrific and shouldn’t be missed. And while they have an awesome wood-burning grill, the cuts of meat(I tried the waiter’s strongest recommendation: the ribeye) left a lot to be desired compared to good beef found in other restaurants. I will say that even though the presentation is over-the-top, the bananas flambé is delicious. And so is the Mexican Coffee. The Passionfruit Margarita was delicious and seemed to be made with real fruit. Certainly worth the experience!

Please go here or you’re missing out !! You don’t want to pass on this dining experience. The vibe is so romantic and fun too! They had ponchos on every chair so my friends and I of course had to be silly and wear them while we took pictures and drank our margaritas. I wish I could eat here all the time. Great environment, great staff, great food, great time!

Food is good, not amazing just plain ok. Service is not the way that one is used to in Cabo, the waiter that we had, let’s just say not very friendly. Not even once we were asked if there is anything we need. The guy that does banana flambé Juan was fun and attentive. Will I come here again, well probably not. There are great restaurants in town that serve authentic food in better atmosphere.

One of the best restaurants in Cabo. The ambiance of the restaurant is absolutely beautiful. We had a party of 18 and mostly all of us shared the 2-person lobster/shrimp/steak dinner and it was excellent. The Pacific lobster was the biggest any of us have ever seen. The service was also very good. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Edith’s, a definite must try when in Cabo. Eat with the early birds here, and the atmosphere is serene, the service top notch and friendly, and the food fantastic! We learned our lesson last year and made reservations a week in advance. Upon arrival, we were checked in(they definitely keep tabs on reservations via handwritten book and ipad), welcomed in, and escorted to a table in the middle of the courtyard, partially in the sun and partially in the shade. Like yin to my yang, hubby sat in the sun, and I in the shade. Our drink order was taken, and the specials/catch of the day were announced to us by a jovial server. I opted for seared tuna and my hubby chose filet mignon. A complimentary tostada appetizer was served, and we shared a bottle of Argentinian Malbec. As we relaxed to the sounds of the traveling trio of musicians, our entrees arrived. The proteins were the stars of the plate as they should be. We ooo’d and ahh’d for a moment and then dug in! Wonderful! Delicious! No problem cleaning these plates! For dessert, bananas foster, prepared by yet another charming server. By the end or our meal, we were fat and happy, and ready to stroll or roll? back to home base. Highly recommend.

I love eating outdoors and this expansive dining area is superb. The canopy of trees, the fountains, and lighting added up to a fantastic experience. I ate the local specialty, Baja Shrimp. It was garlic/grilled, peel and eat. After a great appetizer and some wicked salsa, this dish was perfect — And I didn’t have to waddle back to the resort, lol.

We were referred here by many of our friends and glad we made it there. Easy on-line reservations. The ambience is very authentic and the wait staff is very genuine and provided great service. All the food selections were good; recommend the filet mignon and lobster. Portions are good and the prices are reasonable for a steakhouse. We enjoyed our visit here.

First off, this is not my style to complain(see my other reviews) We had to make reservations 4 days in advance because they couldn’t acomodate us so… no problem, the sign of a good restaurant, right? When we showed up 4 days later(10 minutes late for our reservation) they gave our table away, and may no accomodations, not even a suggestion to have a drink at the bar, we will seat you! NORESTAURANT is that good! Competetion will make it difficult for this place to maintain its good reputation!!!

Reviews are spot on. Place is unbelievable! I got a seafood medley. Everything was so tasty! Hubby got the ribeye, which was cooked to perfection. Place is not cheap, but service(you have like 3 servers), food, ambiance, everything is well worth it. You will not be disappointed!

Guys. Edith’s. It is bomb. We have been to Cabo 4 times, and we’re going again this fall. Edith’s is one of our number 1 «must» spots in Cabo. From the décor, the vibe, service and food – it all equals awesome. Be prepared to spend more than the average meal when you come here. But I can tell you that it’s WELL worth it. Things I recommend when you go there: Steaks. Their steaks there are awesome. Always cooked exactly how you ask. Also, the banana flambé. So fun to watch them prepare at your table and it melts in your mouth. And sometimes, all over your face. Everything we’ve had here is super tasty. Try it for a nice date. I also recommend doing reservations. :)

Wow! This was a seriously good restaurant. The food, presentation, service, and selection were all first class. The best restaurant I have eaten at in Cabo, all of Mexico, and it compares with the finest in the USA. When in Cabo I will always look forward to dinning here. I may even come back to Cabo just to eat here.

Such a gem! Many people recommended this restaurant to us in Cabo and were so glad we listened. The vibe is fabulous, dim lights, Mexican decorations, outdoor seating, very colorful and full of culture. The staff was AMAZING! Each one remembered our names, felt very personal. They were so attentive, at one point we dropped a fork on the floor and had 3 – 4 waiters run over to our table. Our waiter Oscar doc an exceptional job and had wonderful service. The food was delicious and the portions were very large. I wish we had this type of restaurant in LA. HIGHLYRECOMMENDED

Ediths… Where do I begin. Cabo San Lucas is an amazing place– but dining at Edith’s takes it from 4 stars to 5. I just dont know of many places in the world with service, ambiance, and food are much better than this. No– you don’t have to come in a fancy suit and tie, but that might make Ediths even more magical. Located just a block or two from the main beach area– Ediths boasts some spectacular views. I made a reservation about a week in advance for a Saturday evening, and asked to be seated at a nice table with a view. Boy– they delivered! We had a stunning view of the ocean. The service here– I am not sure how they train thier staff, but its the most prompt, friendly, helpful, and polite. The food is really, REALLY good. This isnt your average run of the mill baja mexican food. We are talking some really amazing legit seafood and streak dishes. A few of the must haves here would be: –Ceaser Salad: not my usual choice, but they prepare this table-side and its amazing. Fresh and delicious. –Any seafood dish: seriously, Ive had several. You cant go wrong. –The fliet: sometimes you just don’t want mexican food, and they do their filet right! –Mexican Coffee: your thinking«coffee?! Its 90 degrees outside!» Trust me, its also done table-side, lit on fire with a show– its delicious and totally boozy. Tequila, Kahlua, Coffee– Winning. –Bananas Foster– this is what keeps me coming back. Also done table-side, the delicious caramelized bananas are something worth dreaming about, which I do. Ok I know I am wordy. so lets sum this review up in 6 words: Service, View, Seafood, Bananas Foster, & Tequila. Boom!

Before I review Edith’s I have to say that I went in with extremely high expectations which would account for the 4 star rating, not 5. Ok, so everyone I know had told me that this was the best spot to eat in Cabo. With it being literally in the lobby of our place, I had to give it a try. First, the setting is amazing. The way in which it feels so comfy and cozy, yet elegant, is perfect for a date, anniversary, or special occasion. I was extremely impressed with the overall feel of the restaurant and bar. Second, the service is a well oiled machine. There is no other restaurant with such efficiency and coordination. Well, one«The Office» which is the same owners(check out that review;). The servers work as a team, not as individuals. Third and most importantly, the food. I tried the corn chowder in a bread bowl, filet mignon and finished the meal with the bananas flambé; my wife had the fish. The corn chowder and bananas flambé were pretty good, but the filet was amazing. I have always thought a good sized filet being the size of your palm, this was the size of Shaq’s fist. Cooked perfectly and served with perfection. Yum. My wife’s fish was a little less amazing. For a restaurant with such high reviews, I was surprised the fish was so bland. Oh well, you can’t win them all. I would recommend Edith’s if you have already tried The Office, you want a quiet romantic dinner or you are looking for steaks that could feed a small army!
