Here you may dine below a Picasso. I heard whisper kings have eaten here and no doubt if I ruled the world would I choose this venue too.
Immaculate service. Perfect meals. Excellent wine range.
Their kitchen is around twice the size of the Dining area, they care more about serving quality food than packing people in to the venue.
A genuinely pleasurable experience.

Ok, I’m writing the review before cheese course. First impression as I walked into the restaurant is that this is a classy place that I would want to be a regular if it were in NYC where I live. The plates, silverware and glassware all gave the impression that this is an established place.
The menu is not complicated. The number of selections under each category won’t overwhelm you. You just need to decide what you want tonight — seafood or meat. I went for the «exotic» goat. But I opted for the seafood pot — clam, mussels as starter. I wished I ordered the tripe. Maybe next time. The cheeses are divine. I would suggest that one sample at least three, especially the ripened, soft, pungent variant.

Small & cosy restaurant, seems to have a lot of well-​heeled regulars patronizing this establishment. Owner was an attentive gentleman. High quality traditional cuisine and excellent wine selection. A must-​go.

So glad we made this part of our trip to Barcelona. Super fresh ingredients — straight from the Boqueria — and perfect Old World charm. Seafood, meat, vegetables, everything is classic Catalonian. The service is impeccable and everyone is passionate about what they’re doing.
Say hi to the namesake of the restaurant, Isidre Gironés — you can’t miss him. He’s a local legend. Isidre was also kind enough to refer us to a friend who makes tapas at the Boqueria. He took good care of us.
Great wine program. I really hope I can eat here again someday.

This was probably my favorite restaurant in Barcelona. The food and service were out of this world. Our waiter was an absolute charm. They even have an original Miro! I would highly recommend this restaurant to any one in Barcelona.
Reservations are strongly recommended. It is located in El Raval.

El mejor restaurante de Barcelona, si hablamos de clásicos con un material «fabuloso» y que veamos lo que realmente comemos: no se trata de comer «humo» sino platos que, apoyados en la tradición de toda la vida, se han modernizado un poco: precios algo caros pero vale la pena. Es el restaurante que suele visitar el Rey Juan Carlos, cuando viene a Barcelona
