Came here for the daily $ 6 special, Turkey Breast for Monday, cashier tried to pass off as Chicken Breast and charged an extra $ 2. Came home, sandwich was Turkey Breast. Shame.

Go to Island City across the street, where you’ll actually be treated like a human being by the staff.

The customer service here is soooo terrible! There is an older man and woman that I think own it. They are rude. They are super chinsy with the meat and cheese. I’ve been to other Subways and have never had such bad service and skimpy sandwiches. That lady in particular needs someone to tell her about being nice to customers. A simple smile would help.
Do yourself a favor and go to subways on park st or south shore.

This is a ok Subway. The service is slow. The workers were ok. The food is good but not good as the other Subways.

Bad Service, Bad food. DO NOT EAT HERE!!! They should just close this place down!

The sandwiches were ok, but the service was horrible.
A young woman was somehow complaining about something happening in the store. Continuously talking to her co-​worker, very angrily asking me my choices and throwing the receipt on the counter and walking away with no other thank you or «have a nice day». She then raised her voice to an older other customer who dared to ask for no mayo.
I understand that it is hard for a person to «hide» their emotions and still show respect and a smile (?). Not sure if I could do it, but this behavior makes me upset and wants to skip this Subway for a while

My husband and I have been quite happy with this place. The staff have been sweet, helpful, and efficient. The sandwiches have been delicious!

One of the best Subways I have been to. I’m surprised at the reviews because I had a very good experience with the lady making my sandwich. They also have very fresh bread and chocolate chip cookies! I asked for extra veggies and they made me a wonderful sandwich. I’ll definitely be back!

If you can find a different subway store I would suggest you do it. The girl that served me here was so rude. She kept ignoring what I was trying to tell her, I had to repeat myself a few times and then she told me she heard me with an attitude. She kept interrupting me while I was talking so I decide to just let her ask me what I wanted.
She was being cheap with the condiments and produce. She gave me 1 baby line of mayo and when I asked her to put a little more she said she can’t do that.
Are you kidding me? I’m sorry is that sauce coming out of your paycheck? When I asked her to put honey mustard she did the exact same thing. I said can you put a little more please she gave me the biggest sigh and did half a line of honey mustard.
After she was done with my sandwich she just left it there for someone to ring it up. I don’t know why she couldn’t ring me up because everyone was working on a customer. So I stood at the register waiting for someone to ring me up. But when a random dude came up to the register to buy a cookie she all of a sudden gladly wanted to assist him.
I am never coming back to this location anymore I’d rather drive farther then come here.

Highly not recommended. if u ever want to look at Subways the same again .
After living minutes from this place for close to 3 yrs. I gave it a 2^nd chance today. Big mistake. Let me take u back to my 1^st experience 2yrs ago with the Indian lady (her and her husband seem to own the place) u read about in other reviews. After a lack of her being able to communicate with me like a human I had a little outburst then left mid sandwich never to return again til tonight when I’m with my mother and 6yr sister. I made sure to get his name as things immediately went wrong. EDUARDO (who I’m guessing is the ladies son) does no greeting was on his phone in the back comes out puts gloves on I ask for any soup there is none I ask for wheat there is none then he take 1 glove off and starts texting on his phone that’s on the sandwich making area he’s having trouble texting so he picks his phone up with the gloved hand then I ask him to put new gloves on and what sandwiches we would like, the tuna was out. so he takes a new container out but scrapes the old dry tuna out on2 the fresh tuna I say ¾ times can I just have the fresh tuna but its like he couldn’t hear me and mixes it in. I’m 6months pregnant n mayb overly cautious my choices are limited since I can’t do the deli meats so I still got the tuna: /​Next my mom gets a 6inch meatball. They were not balls, but 2 smashed and smeared so I ask to see what they look like when he scoops them and to add actual meatballs. For whatever reason he says he wouldn’t recommend that n then charges for extra meat. Next the salami sandwich (is what I used to get b4 being pregnant) had 1 slice per inch never overlapping anywhere. The vegetables still have frost on them and when I asked for onions he’s put lettuce. So disappointing that this place is in a nice shopping area but it has earned my worst subway award and It will never even cross my mind to go there for anything .
The cheesesteak/​hoagie place is great across the shopping center!

I understand you have to pay for extra, but can I start by getting a fair amount for what pay for! Wont be back here…

I slammed this place last time I came here. But, came here today and have to change my rating because the queue was very fast and efficient. And the quality of the sandwich top notch.

…continued…well maybe not… got overcharged on the $ 5 menu which includes drinks and chips. They added $ 1.50 extra for the chips. Not cool.
But they got it right the third time I came there.

Why is this place still open? I filed a complaint to Subway Corporate, haven’t heard back yet. I think Alameda should do something they are messing up the nice town reputation. Look at all these reviews about poor management and rude people!

This place is STILL open? Worst Subway ever, which says a lot since majority of the Subways that do exist, suck.
I hope they allow you the option to have BOTH lettuce and spinach on your sandwich because I got completely shut down when I asked.

If you like being treated bad, mixing up your sandwich order, and being mumbled to… then this is the Subway to go. Really? How hard is it to listen to an order and make a sandwich.
I was here for lunch on a Friday and there were 2 people in front of me. The Older Indian lady mumbles and you when you ask her to repeat she gets upset. WTH? You are there to make sandwichs not argue or tell the customer, «What number do you want?» (There are no numbers on the menu.) Then she piles on the ingredients in all different directions then passes the sandwich onto the cashier who clearly is not making sandwiches. Then gets back onto your sandwich & mumbles something else… Dont waste your time.
.who cuts a sandwich in half when its open? They apparently do.
This Subway needs to be put on blast. If you are the manager of this location, please either re-​train or re-​hire a new crew. You are in business to make $$, at this rate, you will be in the hole.

I don’t mind eating here. But the Indian lady is rule and don’t know what she is saying? The sandwiches is good but service is suck.

I hate going to this place 99% of the time when the old indian workers are working there for these reasons: Service bad, bad manners, they just throw the addons on like they dont care, dont cut he sandwiches properly and pack up and no patience. Sorry if any indian person takes it offensive didnt mean it that way just didnt know how to explain the workers there.
When i go i will wait for the other workers to take my order and make my sandwich other than that id rather go to South Shore or Webster St. for subway which i think is worth the drive.

OMG I couldn’t agree more with the majority of these reviews. Service here was baaaaaaaaad and not to mention the place looked like a freaking mess.
I’ve never seen someone be so pissy while making a sandwhich. The girl was just throwing stuff on some bread and looked like she was minutes from going into the back and putting a bullet into her head. I mean just absolutely miserable looking.

When you’ve partied all weekend, ate whatever, drank whatever, sometimes a light lunch sounds perfect.
This is the Subway where I noticed the Sandwich and Soup Combo for $ 5. Mind you, it’s limited to one of the six «Everyday Value» Subs… but Oven Roasted Chicken falls into that. Throw in a cup of that tomato orzo, and 12 oz Milk.
Total: $ 7.12. And as a part time nutritionist, the calorie count for that whole meal and beverage is about 712 as well. Just sayin’. Very satisfying, dip that ‘wich in the soup!
