Went in for an oil change an hour and a half before I had to be at work they told me it would take twenty five minutes, I just got my car back after over an hour of waiting. I’m now late for work and they didn’t know how to check me out of the system. I will never come back

I’m giving them 1 star because the manager, Nick, was responsive. Other than that, I would give them a negative score, if possible.
On September 15, I went to this location with my daughter, spent over $ 400 and was treated as if I was shop lifting.
Let’s start with the female names Sharan, an alleged member of management. After I checked out, I asked her a question and she looked me up and down as if I asked for spare change, and rolled her eyes. I asked for a manager, along comes Liz (Algonquin Walmart Management team member Liz, that should be fired), her friend Sharan rolls her eyes and says «this lady wants to complain about me» and they both laugh, then Liz proceeds to ask me what I want. Literally. I told her since those two are obviously friends, she’s not the person I need to address Sharan’s nasty attitude with and I wanted a real manager. LIZ ATTEMPTED TO KICK ME OUT OF THE STORE when I said I was complaining about her. Wait. Wait. Wait. So I just spent over $ 400 and you are attempting to kick me out of the store and call the police because I’m complaining about you Liz in Algonquin Walmart on Randall? Wow. Needless to say, that didn’t work out for her. I involved another member of management, Kirsten, that sent Liz away, and apologized for her behavior. I called the store manager and the District manager. They also apologized on Liz and Sharan of the Walmart in Algonquin’s behalf, however, it’s not enough. Liz threatened to call the police on me and kick me out of the store because I complained about her, in front of my child.
I know Walmart is Walmart, and I shouldn’t expect anything classy, but big Sharan and her trailer park friend Liz should have been fired immediately for what they did, especially Liz. So if you are reading this, Walmart execs or potential employers of Liz at Walmart in Algonquin on Randall Road, review the video tapes from your «customer service» counter of September 15, 2015 and reevaluate your staff. You will never get another dime of my money.

As with all walmarts, completely disgusting. Not only did I ruin my shoes stepping in the leaking oil from the junk cars in the parking lot, a fight broke out a few registers over while I was paying.
I really wish this place was not in my town because it brings in all of the trash from surrounding towns that pollute the area with their ditched empties of miwaukee’s best and McChicken wrappers leaving a trail on the side of the road all the way to the parking lot.

There’s a stigma about Walmart that just doesn’t exist here. There are no crazies here and the employees are friendly and helpful. I use this place as my primary grocery stop, and then pop over to Meijer and Joe Caputo’s for specific items.
Whenever I can, I buy the generic brand, here it’s called «Great Value» and it’s apropos. I save from $.25 to $ 2 per item, so for two weeks of food I can save $ 15 – 20 for the whole family.
Walmart also has the Savings Catcher program, which price compares for you and issues you refunds if another local store sells it for less.
As far as the employees here, I have had a majority of great experiences. I think leadership knows how to keep the team upbeat and happy. I usually come on weekdays during the late night, and the same group of ladies are always working. I don’t know their names, but they are both Filipina, and they always share great conversation and stories.
This location is clean, parking is easy, checking out is quick. The only thing I would do to improve is to add self-​checkout for the quick transactions.
I’ve been going here for years and will continue!

I went to get an oil change on my sons car on a Saturday morning. There was no cars (ZERO) in the bay or waiting for an oil change. Still it took 15 minutes for someone named CJ to greet me at which time he clearly didn’t want to work so he told me it would be a 60 to 90 minute wait for an oil change. Again NO ONE IN LINE. Hey wal mart, try hiring people that want to work. I should no better than to expect anything but horrible for Wal-​Mart but come on

. Stay out of the Algonquin (Randall Rd) Walmart! All I wanted was a stick vac and dental floss… and of course whatever else I come across that I don’t really need. Oh and an Mp3 player. They have every vacuum known to man. No stick vac… okay…dental floss… I find a sea of toothpaste, enough to satisfy the dental hygiene of a small country… no floss… oh, it’s in the next aisle, not near the toothpaste… ok…on the FLOOR. It’s knee height! I get down there and there’s 3 pkgs left. Three…and not what I wanted. I finally find the 2 ft by 2 ft area known as the Mp3 sales display. One Mp3 player. ONE. Forget it. I wandered in there for 2 hours (mostly spent on travel time because the store is an unorganized mess)…for nothing. Oh, and what’s with the prices lately? The smallest Walmart brand of alumium foil almost $ 3?! Keep it. I hate this Walmart. The store is dirty, they are always low, or out of everything I come there for and nothing is where it should be. I stop there because it’s on my way home from work, but never again! I’ll make the trip down to the Walmart on Rt. 31 in Crystal Lake, it’s the nicest one I’ve been to and they actually stock it.

Regarding their vision center-​very poor service! Had to come back a 2^nd time because they ran out of time the 1^st visit. After waiting 45 mins the 2^nd visit they suggested to reschedule a 3^rd time because once again they were too busy for me! Never will I go there again!

During the Chicago Frozen blast of 2014, I was unfortunately enough to get a flat tire. After waiting over 5 hours to get towed, I arrived at this Walmart Tire and Lube. Everyone in that department was extremely nice and helpful, especially Jeff (I think that was his name). He was amazing and explained all my options and problems to me. The tow truck guy dropped my car in a parking space and Jeff was even willing to work on my car in –2 degree weather in order not to damage my rim driving it in the garage. I would highly recommend this place for tire services.

This Walmart has seen a lot of change over the years, for the better.
Originally, this was your basic Walmart but was expanded in 2008 to include groceries and an improved pharmacy. You will find whatever you need here and at reasonable prices. Your typical Walmart, clean, organized and friendly staff. In fact, I prefer this Walmart to others I’ve visited.
Avoid peak hours — try to come earlier in the day. They do get very busy.

Close to my house… busy most of the time… even late at night. The employees are friendly enough, but I think they should open up more registers.
Majority of the time I think this place needs to be better organized, but I go later at night nowadays so I don’t have to see alot of people and they usually have carts down to restock stuff.

Coming here in a hurry, searching for something specific, reminded me why I do not shop at Wal-​Mart.
Note to the general public: When you have a screaming infant in a car seat in your cart and everyone in a 5 checkout line radius appears concerned about the reason for this, while you continue ignoring the screaming, you may eventually find DCFS waiting for you in the parking lot.

I finally tried this lotion by Neutrogena that I keep seeing on TV.
Its the Mouisture Wrap Lotion.
It really does last all day and night, as I have exczema and was happy to find something that keeps my skin mousturized during the day.
