I ordered the House Special Lo Mein and Mongolian Beef. it was pretty good…

I ordered delivery and the driver had the nerve to call me for me to walk to his car. So I showed him the apt I was in then he drove to the front of the apt and called me again to come to his car. Now, this is my second time ordering and its the same thing. So I told him next time he comes here, he needs to come to the apt. He said «NO» and slung me food to me deliberately trying to turn over my food!
So, No I do not recommend this restaurant and I think the food is NASTY just like the service!

Wing Rating is a 5 for sure! Perfect size, not overcooked and great flavor at a great price. Haven’t had anything else just the wings. Make sure to be ready when you order because they are always busy with people calling in and want to get off the phone quickly as possible!

First time ordering from Burger Joy being that I stay in the Peopletown area dude came to my front door after calling me on the phone he told me be careful because the bag was heavy so Im thinking really wow. So I took food inside opened it up and was Indeed surprised it was alot of Food the rice was good even the 3 Egg Rolls I ordered on the side was good. The main meal was The Seaseme Chicken was good no complaints over here to add I still have alot of food left I will take a pic of it when its time for me to eat lunch around 12.1 pm this noon in closing Burger Joy I will order from them again I give em 4 out of 5 stars yes Indeee please

This is the last time I attempt to order food from THE shittiest Asian restaurant
in Atlanta (next to Dawa). Yes, I’ve traveled abroad and I’m in the Industry. And tonight, (at 6:20pm) I was craving Noodles, and I live in Grant Park. I walk in… no one else is there. The order taker doesn’t acknowledge me. I forced the «hello» and ordered. She was rude throughout the whole process. I put a buck in the tip jar anyway. As I’m waiting, she starts picking her nose. I mean, FEROCIOUSLY digging for green gold. I ask her to stop. She didn’t. I stand up from the waiting area and tell her «I’m canceling my order, you’re disgusting!» That’s when she finally engaged me. (Oh hello!) «You don’t come back here no more!!»
I won’t.

Waited for hours for my food to arrive and then I got yelled at when I tried to cancel my order. Bad customer service and awful management. Order at your own risk.

Ordered dinner from here via GrubHub tonight, for the first time. Quick, friendly delivery. The delivery person had no problem bringing our order to our upper floor condo door. Food arrived really hot. All of the condiments and plastic cutlery we could have needed, were included.
Mongolian Beef– I enjoyed the beef itself, but was disappointed that it was only beef and LOTS of onion, and that the sauce was so dang sweet. I seem to only get sugary sweet Mongolian Beef here in Atlanta. I don’t know if that’s what people here prefer, but I sure don’t. I like, and am accustomed to a savory, thin gravy type sauce for my Mongolian Beef. I did like that I was able to «upgrade» from white rice to Lo Main with the Mongolian Beef.
Lo Main (plain) — I actually really liked the noodles. For being plain, they actually had a good amount of flavour. They really helped take down the sweetness of my Mongolian Beef.
Chicken Wings– Hardly any meat on them, and what meat there was, was pretty dry. Not sure we’d order wings from here again.
Fries (plain) — Not too bad. Thankfully, they arrived hot, fresh, and not overly salted so, they were pretty good.
We might order from here again, and try some different things next time.

Stick with the wings and the Chinese food cause the rest is HORRIBLE! DO NOT ORDER THE PHILLY CHEESE STEAK! Wings are good, fries are fine, Orange and Seasame Chicken are tolarabule. The best thing about the place is delivery till 3am.

How hard is it to put spicy mustard in the bag? HOW HARD?
On four separate occasions I’ve called for a togo order and asked for spicy mustard because they forgot the first time I ever ordered. The delivery man brings me the order and when it doesn’t have spicy mustard he just apologizes. How is this possible? It’s one of three condiments you serve. ONE OF THREE CONDIMENTS.

Burgers are alright, but I found a long strand of hair in my burger.

Will definitely order from here again.
They delivered to us at the Ramada by the Stadium. Burgers were well cooked. You know they use good ingredients when the Burger is delivery & the Bun ISN’T SOGGY.
Bacon Cheeseburger… Bomb. Get everything & take out what u don’t want. Was pretty big too. Didn’t finish it. Fries & wings were still hot. Got the wings with the «Hot Sauce». Since I’m Mexican it was more of a Medium/​Spicy but flavorful so if u can take some heat go for the «Hot Sauce».
Haven’t tried the Asian portion but I would definitely try it based on what I ordered.
As a plus… They gave us a free Egg Roll which was also very good.

The House burger is absolutely the most amazing piece of food that I have ever out in my mouth while being drunk! Tossed in sweet Texas BBQ sauce just adds to the magic! The broad selection almost makes it hard to determine what I want to eat! The delivery thru grub hub is super fast and friendly!

This is a great delivery option if you are in the Grant Park area of Atlanta.
Delivery has always been fast! We order through GrubHub normally and delivery is always within 20 minutes and the food is always piping hot!
Food quality is pretty decent for a take out Chinese place. The Sesame Chicken is excellent and the Lo Mein options are good as well!
This is a good option if you want quick and hot and tasty food!
The only thing I can think is the pricing is a little high but the food and the fast service warrant it so we love the place!!!

After a night out at the bar we decided to soak up some of the alcohol with a guilty pleasure late night order of food.
We ordered:
Crab Rangoon
Dumplings
Chicken nuggets
French fries
Philly
Crab Rangoon was horrible. The dumplings smelled so bad I didn’t even try them. I thought the nuggets were ok, my husband was not a fan. The only thing that saved the fries are whatever seasoning they put on them. The philly was so bad that my husband, who was starving and can eat, only put down half because he was so hungry.
WE WERE DRUNK, everything is at least OK when you are drunk and this was still horrible. I can’t even imagine the torture of eating this sober.
All the alcohol in the world could not convince me to order from here again.

My wife and I have been ordering from Burger Joy a few times a month for over two years so this review isn’t based on just one or two good /​bad experiences.
My Recommendations:
— Burgers (Bacon Cheese especially) — Get the meal but you might have to broil the fries a bit if you like them crispy like I do.
— Sesame chicken: Long time favorite.
— Chicken Skewers: Probably should have talked to a therapist about my addiction to these.
— Boneless BBQ ribs: Long time favorite.
— Crab wontons: I order these every time.
— General Tso’s
General: It shouldn’t need to be said, but this isn’t your high brow chinese but we’ve tried probably half the menu — some things I like, other’s are ok but then my wife likes a lot of the stuff I don’t so I can’t say it’s the items themselves — BUT, overall we love this place. We always have enough leftovers for a 2^nd meal. The staff is helpful, very friendly, and in two years I can’t remember a single problem. They’re also fast and open until 3am which is pretty rare for the South.
Food: Burger Joy — An odd name for a chinese place, but believe it or not they have one of the best burgers I’ve eaten in Atlanta and it’s crazy cheap. All the food is. The sesame chicken, crab wontons, boneless BBQ ribs are great. And the chicken skewers are amazing! I went through a period where I’d get 4 – 5 orders of it and just eat the left overs for days — liked them that much. Lean, not fried, amazing flavor. Only exception across the board is that I haven’t been into the seafood.
Start with the list above and if you’re into it, try a few different items from there.

We’d been semi-​regular Burger Joy customers for a time — not that they had good food, mind you, but that on Sunday nights, when Burger Win is closed, and we’re hungry at 11pm, they were about the only thing a lazy person could get delivered. Now, even that is not gonna be enough to get me to order from this awful place.
Last night, we ordered Burger Joy food through GrubHub at 9:45. We get a text message at 10:30 that our food is on its way. Great. Waiting… waiting… and our food is not at our house at 11:20pm. Yep. By this time, we’re starving.
We call them and tell them our name, and that our order is not at our house, and the reaction is, «Your order is not there yet?!» They put someone else on the line. This person says some BS about their printer not working and not getting our order, pretty clearly lying to us. They say our food can get to us in 35 minutes (without asking what we ordered — yeah, they did get the order, liars). But, by this time, it would arrive at midnight.
So, we’re pretty pissed. My boyfriend had already agreed and hung up with them, but I call them this time, saying that they’d better be doing something for our troubles given that they left us starving and staying up til midnight to eat their terrible food. Not only did they refuse, the teenage girl on the line was the single rudest customer service person I have ever had to deal with. She asked me why I thought I deserved a discount — she actually scoffed at me (you know that sound). It was ridiculous. Finally, someone tells her they can give me a $ 4 discount. Oh man. I am livid. Four freaking dollars?
We end up cancelling our order and driving out for food, telling them that they lost a regular customer. When I hang up with her, teenage girl says, «Okthanksbye!» You know, the snarky way. On the drive, we swore we would never get Burger Joy again.
Y’all, order from Burger Win instead. They’ve always been sweet and kind and their food is sooo much better and fresher. And on Sunday nights, when Burger Win is closed, don’t be tempted to call Burger Joy. You’ll hate your food — if it even arrives.

We ordered food from here threw GrubHub. GrubHub seemed to work fine, very easy to use, etc. Now onto the food. We ordered boneless buffalo chicken wings, general tso, egg rolls & a rice bowl of honey teriyaki chicken. We did not get any thing to eat with, even tho they knew we were staying in a hotel. All of the chicken tasted as if it had been over cooked yesterday, and covered in a barely passable sauce. Three things out of all of the order was good, the pickled salad that came with the rice bowl, the egg rolls and the fortune cookies. I am assuming that those items were edible because they were probably all pre-​bought and not actually cooked by the restaurant.

Fast delivery and late delivery. I always order through Unilocal /​eatstreet. I’ve never had an issue.
I am horribly addicted to the Chinese food selections as they are a fantastic guilty pleasure. Best of all, one dish can feed you for a day.
The sesame chicken with shrimp fried rice /​white rice is my go to. The sauce is BOMB. Simply delicious.
Good follow ups if you are feeling eager to fulfill your hunger and taste buds:
— General Tsao chicken with whatever choice of rice. Divine. Perfectly flavorful and mild mild spicy.
— Orange Chicken is very good but Tsao and Sesame reign supreme.

The woman who works here at night is a horrible person. She really gives Asians/​Chinese a bad name. I have tried several of their dishes and the only items that are worth getting while you are sober are the fries and maybe the wings which are pretty crappy and very small. The delivery driver doesnt speak a lick of Engrish and after the incident the other night, I will never order from them again.
I called at 10:15p and ordered my usual, 15 wings and fries extra crispy. At 11:15p i called to check up on the order and she said it was already gone. After, 20 more mins I gave up and called to cancel but alas no answer. I called 3 more times after that and was still ignored. I then fell asleep around midnight only to be woken up at 12:15am by the driver calling my entry box. I collected my thoughts and had a terrible rumbling in my tummy so I decided this was the last time. I answered the door and paid the man who looks like he has never showered and has the most disgusting nails i have ever seen on a human man. After which i received the most perplexing look. He hands me only $ 2 but my change was supposed to be $ 7. He continues to stare at me as if to say «I deserve the rest Mutha F*#$er!» Im sorry to say that when you come to my house looking like you pick you ass then cook my food, I am never giving you money again. I would not be surprised if the Health Inspector has this place hanging by a thread.
The 2 stars are for the gentleman that works like one night a week. He is the only person there who has any care for their customers. Its also for the wings being hit-​or-​miss. And to the lady who answers phones, seriously consider a new career. In another city.

WOW I NEVER EXPERIENCE SUCH HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICES EVER!
The driver called & said yeah walk to the gate i dont come into apartments. Its day time & I live in a nice community. How about if I was in a wheelchair or handicapped or something. I would’ve been out of luck. They need to put that on their website we deliver to apartments but please be waiting for us Or have it to we will call you when we 10 mins away.
Anyways overall food was okay. Not a fresh beef burger I can tell it was one of those store bought beef patties that come frozen. Wings were dry the only thing good was the fries
