Starbucks

One of the more ritzy starbuckses I have seen. It is easily visible from the outside and yet inside the space looks intentionally hidden. I never thought of a Starbucks as exclusive, but this one gives you that vibe.

This Starbucks inside Borgata can get very crowded at times, and it’s really just a small galley-​type installation. So if you come at 10 am on a weekend, be prepared to wait in line for a bit. They have the usual array of drinks, coffee and merchandise. However, I do find the employees at this location to be somewhat less friendly than at your typical Starbucks. Still, if you want a cup of good strong Joe @ the Borgata, and you’re not dining at one of the finer restaurants here, this is your best bet.

Quick service and surprisingly there was no line at 10am. Only good coffee in the borgata casino. They have a nice breakfast spot right next door.

I came at about 11:30pm on Monday. Very unorganized. Crowded, no sign/​indication of where line began. Lady at register barely spoke English, and therefore was incapable if telling me where to wait. After waiting in front of her for 10 min, I gave my order, and she completely ignored me taking the man behind me! After this «preferred» customer, she finally took my order for a smoothie. After paying, I was told they had no bananas (that drink is supposed to have a whole banana by standard) and was charged full price. Awful, chaotic establishment.

Another great location for a Starbucks, inside of the borgata hotel. A little on the small side but the friendly staff seems to do their best at keeping it moving. It would definitely help things along and make the overall experience a little smoother if they would get a card scanner so that they don’t have to manually enter your card number for a transaction. This store just seems to be a couple steps behind.

After waiting literally 15 minutes for 2 drinks, my wife’s order was completely wrong (she misread the cup writing) and my drink was bitter.
Employees seem nice and friendly but need t focus more. $ 10 for 2 drinks and I want a great drink for that price.
Plus, with the addition of the Borgata Baking Co, right next door, they have more competition more and need to try a little harder.
No seating options at this location.

There are new servers here since the last time I was here. They are great. Super friendly and helpful. They greet you with a smile and enjoy their job.

Be prepared to wait in a looooooong line. And beware: You don’t earn any Starbucks Rewards points at this location.

This Starbucks is bigger than most that I’m used to seeing, especially for being inside of a casino. The staff was friendly, the coffee and heated croissants were delicious and it is conveniently located right beside the Borgata Water Club rooms. What more can you ask for?

They don’t accept sbx cards. It’s nice to have sbx in the hotel, but it would be great if they used the same system as everyone else. They don’t have a place to seat or wifi either.

I stop by this Starbucks on my way to work most days. There are a few ladies there that are absolutely wonderful and even remember your name. Though there is usually a long line in the morning, most of the employees behind the counter work quickly to get you out of there as fast as possible. I did have one incidence where the girl took my order and I paid but I noticed my drink didn’t come out for 10 minutes, which normally doesn’t happen there. It turns out, she never created a cup for me so no one was working on my order. That was frustruating because I got to work later than usual but mistakes happen! Overall, they do a great job and my grande caramel latte is usually ready within 2 minutes.

More of a grab n go Starbucks, not a sit and chill Starbucks. Perfect location to snag something hot on the way out to your frozen vehicle. Some of the baristas are awesome and know my drink or drink preferences. Tip: if you play poker tournaments, show them your tournament entry slip for a discount.
The management of this Starbucks is horrible. Some of the employees still need to be babysit. Its hit or miss who your going to get. Some of them think that their job is to gossip about Sholanda’s hair (yes it was a real conversation), than to make your drink. Another guy feels as though doing his end of the night side work is more important than frothing up some latte’s. Probably because he wants to get home in time to watch Jersey Shore.
Management issues:
For at least 2 years, they would never have whole milk. How can you screw that up on such a consistent basis, when most of your products are milk based drinks. I know… I know!.. because your management sucks. At the time of writing this, the food display smells like something died in it. Wouldn’t be so bad if it didn’t smell like that yesterday, or the day before! This location needs a full time babysitting manager to keep a close eye on things. or… maybe find someone that knows how to hire self-​managing non-​lazy employees. I have a funny feeling its the same person hiring all of his/​her friends, or friends of friends. Birds of feather, barista together.
