Did you forget that last-minute souvenir or gift for a friend before you fly home? Do you need an Austin-themed hostess gift for those friends you’re jetting off to see? This is a convenient stop in the airport to snap these — and more — up. Lots of clothing, shot glasses and magnets, particularly in the«Keep Austin Weird» vein, though this is standard souvenir stuff so it’s unlikely you’ll find anything truly«weird.» There are assorted food items too, and presumably now that you’re past TSA you can chuck a jar of salsa in your carry-on without incurring the curse of the 3 oz. liquid law. Overall, whether you’re coming or going, this is an easy stop in the Austin Airport to grab your capitol city goodies.

I was looking for a hostess gift with Texas flair in the airport. This place did the trick. Lots of souvenirs, mugs, shot glasses, ACL and Tyler’s tees, salsas, pecans, stuffed toys, etc. A little pricey, but what I expect from an airport. Had to pay 10 cents for a brown paper bag. Very good selection; I’d shop there again when looking for Austin or Texas souvenirs.

This shop at the airport has a lot of cute and vintage-y Austin items and I purchased a couple of items here– a soft vintage style Austin t-shirt and a stuffed cowboy bear. The staff was friendly and the one star is entirely for what happened after I got home. I gave the stuffed animal away as a gift and it was in fine condition. When I got home, I noticed the t-shirt had several holes through the bottom back of the shirt and a run in the fabric that spanned several inches as soon as I took it out of the bag. It was an extremely early flight the day after a funeral so I guess I wasn’t looking as closely as I should have before I bought the shirt but regardless, I was willing to pay for shipping to ship the shirt back to the shop and just have it replaced with the exact same t-shirt just without holes. The first sign that this was not going to be easy was trying to find a phone number– there was not one anywhere on the receipt and I scoured the internet looking and still could not find anything aside from a corporate number. I was never able to find a phone number to connect to the shop, but I figured I would need to talk to a corporate employee anyway so that’s okay. They should still have a customer service phone number provided somewhere on the receipt. I contacted the retail manager at the corporate phone number and he agreed to send me a replacement if I sent him the original t-shirt and receipt. I packaged everything up with a written note explaining the situation to any employee that may end up opening it and sent it to «RETAILMANAGER» at the address provided by the person I was speaking with. I included my original receipts as well. I took a picture with my phone of the receipt, but unfortunately, my phone crashed and all pictures went with it a few weeks ago. This shipped on Sept. 2nd. I waited several weeks and still nothing has arrived but I no longer have pictures of the receipts and can not prove that I purchased anything. Basically, I was extremely disappointed in the lack of any customer service what-so-ever and am out $ 30 and have no shirt and no one to contact. Inspect anything you buy from here, because, without living in the city, it will be impossible to return/exchange regardless of the situation.

Located in the airport for last minute gifts or souvenirs. Clothing, mugs, magnets, keychains… you name it. Great to kill time before boarding.
