Did a mobile order and got fast service. I ordered a caramel waffle cone frapachino and didn’t realize it had caffeine in it. The staff was friendly and very helpful and remade it for me without the coffee. The store was clean and all the employees were working diligently to get out the orders.

What they don’t ask for your name anymore??? I always loved seeing how they jacked up my name in ways that I couldn’t image every time I come into a Starbucks. The line was pretty long and to my surprise there was only one person taking orders but, I wanted to get my Java Chip Frappacino on so, what is a girl to do? She waits in line that’s what she does. Unfortunately my Frappacino was very over blended and was a watery milky consistency… yuck! Of course I drank it anyway and was happy that it was on happy hour discount. The only thing that made me happy was the chocolate chunks… sadness. My guy ordered the mango iced tea and be cautious if you don’t like super sweet because it is sweet tea in there. Oh well, it happens but, I prefer the thick and frothy consistency of a milkshake which is what it is supposed to be.

I’m no coffee jockey or bean snob, but I enjoy an overpriced coffee as much as the next person. Sure there’s better and it’s as close as Buzzmill around the corner. But sometimes city life doesn’t permit the jaunt down riverside and back. In the cases where this is true the good olé standby starbucks will probably be the place where you get your fix. Keep in mind that it’s right by a school so don’t expect to speed through when school is letting in or out. Yea it’s too expensive; yea there’s better coffee, but this is a good standby off of 35.

On March 19, 2016 at 8:10PM I order a caramel macchiato and by accident I spilled it… The barista came out and was very attentive, I wanted to thank him for his special attention. I enjoy my macchiato after all.:) Thank you!!!

So I went to this Starbucks and asked for a drink and the guy was like the machine is down and I just seen them using it and was being a dick for no reason and wouldn’t ring me up and the other employees just giggled and I just walked out and they lost a customer and didn’t even care wtf is that?! Worst customer service ever! Y’all need to hire better employees!

This Starbucks is open well before the rest of the mall. So it’s the haven for mall walkers and people stranded while Sears is working on their car early in the morning, like me. The cashiers were friendly, if a little young. They went out of their way to accommodate my order and gave me a discount when they didn’t have exactly what I wanted. Good customer service, small location, a few comfy chairs and many metal ones, and a couple of tables outside in the mall proper as well. It is not fun being stranded at the mall with car trouble, but when you are, Starbucks may just save your day.

This is just the worst Starbucks I’ve ever been to. They messed up my drink, so they had to make me a new one. The second one had waayy too much caramel in it, and it tasted kind of off, but I figured it was too much of a bother to order another, so I just drank the whole thing(gotta get my money’s worth). For the rest of the day, I had a stomachache and felt sick. If I could give this place a 0 stars I would.

Very cute and cozy Starbucks store. The barista’s are very friendly and knowledgeable. The lines are long but moves very quickly so don’t be discouraged by this. There is plenty of seating for everyone. You have a bar like area that faces towards the mall. So you can people watch. They also have the standard couches and tables. On the outside of the store, is patio like seating. Overall, it’s a very nice Starbucks.

Holy smokes I hope this is an off day… literally just waited 30 min for an iced Chai tea. Super understaffed and kept giving all the people that ordered after me their coffee first. Had to finally go up and check on it.

Great service. Not as busy as I would expect from post-Thanksgiving holiday shopping.

Cute store inside the mall. Always fast service and they look like they’re having fun. Usually pretty busy, though, being the mall they get a lot of traffic. It’s hard to not stop in anytime I’m at the mall.

(This is the Starbucks on the first floor of Barton Creek Mall.) ************************ I guess I could argue the world doesn’t need another Starbucks, but I could also argue Barton Creek Mall certainly needed something: Of the six places to get a cup of coffee in this mall, one is good, four are pretty much overpriced and not worth seeking out, and the sixth is closed on Sundays. I’m mildly curious why Austin malls never had a La Madeleine among their tenants. But God bless America, and He appears to bless Starbucks as well. Can’t beat their location on that first floor intersection where the AMC theater entrance and the elevator is, with decent people-watching furniture both inside and outside the place. Can’t beat their WiFi, especially with the ATT store right night door, but you really can’t beat their hours, which appears to be whenever the mall is open. I’m first to admire the corporate franchise philosophy which McDonald’s used to build their empire — that Big Mac you order in Paris, France is going to be exactly like the one you had Paris, Texas — now don’t you feel warm and comfy all over? But the underlying premise here is you have to like a Big Mac, which may or may not be the case. My thing is I don’t actually dislike the coffee at Starbucks, I kind of think of it as a pricey cup of fancified Folgers — but if that’s all I have to work with, I’ll go with it. So if you’ve spent time in any other Starbucks, you should feel right at home in this one: The usual suspects of colorful carbs under glass, and those little plastic boxes of airplane-type food, and those CD’s, and mugs, and assorted coffee hardware — will we ever tire of hearing someone ask«Do you need cream room?» The bottom line is you can now get a familar cup of of joe anytime you want, but what makes this particular Starbucks okay by me is that giant hit of coffee scent as I zip past it when I’m walking the mall here. I think it may be the second best aroma I look forward to at Barton Creek. Because c’mon, who doesn’t get a little giddy over a Sephora hit?
