The different flavored mochas are fantastic! The milky way is amazing and they have an XL (32oz) size which is a must for this girl. Reasonably priced, great customer service and it’s a drive thru only. Love it!

Nice place to stop on the long drive from my school to my hometown. The drinks are HUGE though– a Java Detour small is a typical coffee shop’s medium, and so on– order a size down unless you really need that 24oz bev i guess

For a tea lover like me, I normally dont stop by coffee places. I was picking up coffee for my office and decided to try their drinks! I was pleasantly surprised with all the options they had, and they have so many candy bar flavored drinks! If you can overcome the thought of how many calories are in a drink, I would definitely recommend it!

I purchased the blended black and white mocha. It’s definitely a life changer! Will definitely be back here often! I would reccomend not getting whip cream on the blended mocha.

Friendly and efficient staff. I love that they have two drive throughs. My favorite drink is the funky monkey. A 20 oz. drink is $ 4. Not bad at all.

My absolute favorite coffee place! Staff is always friendly and coffee is always made perfectly. I go out of my way to get coffee here. I wish we had more locations in Bakersfield.

Found this place while up north. I stop by here everytime I’m in town.
ice blended peppermint mocha for sure! Yum! Two sided drive thru is convenient. Hours are great, super early to super late! Love it

I have been visiting this place on a regular basis for years. I always get a blended drink, so I can’t speak to their hot offerings, but blended «Cold «Rushes» NEVER disappoint. Best in town! No comparison to what you find at the national chain. My go to is a blended Mocha, but the varieties are unending, so I mix it up occasionally. Some raspberry or orange shots always blend well in the mocha, and if you’re a butterfinger or almond joy fan, try one of those.

When I arrived, there was one car ahead of me. Instead of waiting though, I was greeted by a worker at my window to take my order. I had a large almond milk mocha. It was a nice balance of coffee and mocha; not too sweet and not too strong. I love that they have a variety of milk options for the non-​dairy drinkers.

I feel like an iced coffee from time to time and end up getting something here since I was in the area. It’s not far from Barnes n Nobles. Using the drive thru, I ordered the Reese flappe and it was very cold and refreshing sorta like a slush drink. Service was friendly.
In terms of value, it’s on the high side but premium iced coffee doesn’t come cheap unlike regular coffee. Just think of paying Baskin Robbin prices and you get the picture. And they know everything as the Ant Man had found out. So I get an urge for something cold with a caffeine boost… I rather get it here than at Starbucks. Calories notwithstanding.

Best experience when it cones to order coffee, the staff was great and it made me want to ditch Starbucks and order the coffee here. The prices are way more reasonable and the drinks are made quicker.

Drive up coffee stands are extremely popular and numerous in Washington state, and it makes me sooo happy to have found Java Detour!
They know their coffee, have about a million sugar free flavors. They have many drink suggestions and are able to customize pretty much anything.
One thing that makes me sad is they don’t have a tipping option when paying with credit card and there isnt’ a punch-​card system yet. I keep hoping, guys!

Java detour gets 3 stars in my books. Although the people that work here are awesome and friendly, the drinks tend to disappoint me because I come for a caffeinated frap and it tastes like milkshake. It’s really good; however the whole point of me coming is to refuel on caffeine and sad to say but it doesn’t wake me up. If you’re looking for a dessert then come to Java detour unless you’re like me and you just come for a pick me upper then you better stick w Starbucks.

Stopped for a morning coffee and bagel, smells good while we waited, making waiting in the drive through less painful.
Only draw back is no inside seating, otherwise so far so good. Our order was quick to arrive we had a latte and a berry smoothy. Mrs thinks Starbucks is better. My smoothy was pretty good. I hate Starbucks, stick it to the man. Independent places hooray!

The staff is always super friendly and seem like they really love their jobs. It’s nice to get greeted by a friendly face.
My dad lives near here and every time I go visit him I have to make a pit stop here first!
The black and white mochas are the best. Blended or hot! In fact, they are so good that I have never even wanted to try anything else on the menu. Each time I go I say this will be the time I get something new. Never can do it.
