this review is more about the operation, and not the atmosphere. I went there for first time a few weeks ago for about a hour and the bartender somehow lost my credit card in the short time I was there. She told me how it must’ve fallen on the floor and that she wasn’t going to look for it, then had the audacity to tell me to come back the next day to get it. It was busy, and I didn’t want to make a big deal b/c she had a lot going on. On two separate occasions I came back and they were closed, then I realized their ‘hours’ on Unilocal are not the hours of operation on their website, so I came back this past Sunday and… they were closed! On a sunday afternoon, when their hours clearly state they will be open, they were closed. It’s not all the easy for me to keep coming downtown, and you would think they would be open when they say they will be. I know they found my card b/c the drinks were paid for, which were mediocre anyway, and after three trips back to locked doors, I still don’t have my card!

Fells Point Bar. It’s like a tavern with the soaring brick walls. It’s like an art gallery with massive, ever-changing projections. The drummer-Dj on Fridays is amazing. Love this place!

They always have great DJs and great service! The bartenders are very kind and attentive. They’ll give you amazing treatment if its your birthday and my friends and I come up from DC a lot just to come to this bar!

I guess I’m too old for this place, but I’m not into being rubbed up against by sweaty maybe-maybe not 21 year olds while listening to a «DJ» play music off of his iPod. I think girls go there to see if whatever that guys name is from All Time Low will be there(spoiler alert: he probably won’t). Drinks are also pretty expensive for the area(is this DC??? nah) and service is meh. The bouncers are also rude too.

Any bar in Baltimore where I can listen to Brand New and Taking Back Sunday is five stars in my book! The DJ/drummer was cool and the crowd seemed to really enjoy it!

One of the coolest bars I have been to in a long time. So cool we went twice in one day. The wall is covered in sturdy projection screens with rotating artwork displayed. The art changes every few minutes, giving you a mix of classic art, photography, and digital designs, some of which move. Occasionally all the pieces will match, such as an entire cityscape wrapping around the entire establishment. It’s an incredible sight. The lighting is very dark, even during the day, so the light level depends on the art. You get a beautiful mix of colors. Ok, now, we started out popping in around 5 for Saturday happy hour. Cheap beer and rails, maybe the best deal around. Plus, you can sit at the bar comfortably, with only a handful of people millimg around at a time. It was very comfortable amd was a great experience. We came back around 11. It had a crazy club atmosphere at night, with a DJ spinning 90s/00s rock. The crowd at night, in complete contrast to the chill daytime crowd, was ridiculously drunk. It’s all dancing but gets very tight. I’m talking tons of people. That might be your thing, and there was a time when I would have agreed, but we were a bit turned off by how drunk the people were and left around midnight. Still, any time I’m in Fells Point midday, I am making a bee line for this spot. Check it out.

This place is tight and by tight I do not mean densely-packed. I mean banging, cool, and just awesome! The walls are covered with artwork that are projected out of projectors. There are these cool ball of lights hanging from the ceiling. It a good mixture of bar/club. They have different DJ’s on different days. They have this blackboard people can write on and they also have a list of events for the week posted just above the blackboard. The doorman was pretty hilarious. He was very much animated. The entire staff was actually great. This is a pretty good scene for young people. The prices were as expected and music was pretty good too — a little«white» for my taste, but still pretty good and enjoyable.

Their«thing» of cool rock songs and projectors with video and murals would maybe be cool if they were working. Also the DJ was doing the job my iPod could do. Wouldn’t recommend this place.

This is the best venue in Baltimore right now and is the closest there is to a DC quality club since Mist went away. Overall I’d say it’s a Baltimore 5, so really a 4 compared to other high-end clubs I’ve seen, particularly that in DC and some other cities I’ve been to. The design is well thought out, despite the narrow nature of the venue, and the music is a good mix. It can get loud though once they hand the keys over to whoever is DJing that night. The crowd tends to be young girls early one followed by an onslaught of men around 11pm to the point it’s impossible to move around the venue. At that point it’s best to move on to other bars in the area, but before then it’s a great little club. If you’ve ever been to Tattoo Bar in DC(between Lima and Josephine’s), it’s very similar to that.

Updating my review for this place as it’s gotten better in recent month in terms of service and music. Quickly becoming my last stop on the way home, the video canvas is much more enthralling after 5 – 6 drinks anyway.

This is our place ! The best thing about this place is that I am sure there are so many different people that feel this way. It is a strictly rock bar, so when you come know that the music is plenty dance able and the vibe is great. Drinks can be a bit pricey, but this place is worth it to me !

Ok. I must admit I’m getting to the age where the ‘club scene’ is just not my thing. However this place was a perfect combo of bar/club and it will be a place I go to again! 1. The artwork is bangin! So cool.(Don’t get offended if a tittie appears throughout the night though). The changing art is a great conversation piece. 2. The DJ played the perfect mix of 90s rock with a few good top 40 songs throughout the night. It was wanna those times where I didn’t want to go pee bc I didn’t want to miss the next song! 3. The drinks are a little pricy($ 8/cocktail, $ 5/bottled beer) but I guess that’s to be expected in this type of environment. 4. No cover charge! Thanks!(Maybe that’s why the drinks costs so much?) 5. Staff were great! Great spot and great addition to Fells Pt. You Rock, Rockwell!

We went here at 6pm on Friday and yes, it was not very busy, this place was really cool. The artwork on the walls was beautiful and unique, the service was great and the live music was fantastic. Our bartender was very nice and friendly, which made the experience better. The live music singer was very talented and had about 500 choices of songs you could pick from for him to play. He was awesome and knew every song. They have plenty of choices of beer and cocktails. I would go back if I’m back in Baltimore.

Awesome bar… probably my fav bar in Baltimore now. If you like 90’s & early 2000’s pop punk this is the place for you! I requested Ruby Soho by Rancid & the DJ says«F#@k YEA!» and played it like right away… how awesome is that? And it gets a good crowd & people dance to all the sweet punk & ska music. An occasional 80’s or ska tune gets mixed in as well. The drinks are kinda pricey for Bmore but when the music selection is so good you don’t really mind. I’m requesting Do You Wanna Dance — Ramones version next time I go :-D

Fun, young, hip bar in the center of Fell’s Point. Great place to hang out and grab a couple of drinks. Only $ 3 for a Natty Boh plus friendly service. Got to party with Alex Gaskarth and Jack Barakat over Labor Day weekend there.

This is a fun place! I was surprised that it wasn’t an overprice«rock» bar in Fells but more like a place with Weezer and early 2000’s hits. Everyone in the bar gets into the music and really makes the atmosphere a good time. The art on the walls is pretty stellar and keeps you intrigued. A lot of the reviews are spot on but I will say they treat my friends birthday like she was paying for bottle service. They gave her a few free drinks, Champaign and reserved a good portion of the bar for her. That’s not the normal for a Fell’s bar, they were great!

A good, young bar in Fells Point. If you’re looking for a place to get a drink, hang out, listen to some younger, more modern music, this is the place for you! I can’t wait to go back soon! :)

This is actually a fun place to hang out. That being said, it’s kind of like a Hot Topic bar. Lots of kids(seriously there are some young looking 21 year olds here) trying to be seen, or at least be near whichever bandmate from All Time Low is there that night. It’s a good atmosphere, the digital art is rad. The music is either good or bad. I’m not a huge fan of pop punk, but they played All Time Low(shocking) and then Britney Spears. Well, that’s fine and good, but if you’re trying to come off as a cool new rock n roll bar. I dunno.play some rock and roll? The drinks are decently priced, the bartenders are friendly. Heck, everyone there was friendly. I’ll be back!

I won’t lie and say my memory of this place is crystal clear. So this review is purely on what I can remember from the night… 1) bouncer laughing at my friend for tripping on the sidewalk 2) bouncer giving my other friend a free drink because she’s getting married 3) bartender giving me a shot because I checked in on Unilocal 4) some guy buying us drinks because we are girls 5) a photo booth 6) me with a stack of pictures from it but I only made it in two pictures with eyes closed, tongue out 6) a guy in a blue shirt How or why we left is unclear to me, but it seemed like a good spot given the above.

Baltimore needs more bars like Vale Tudo. Great change of pace from the norms down in Fells. The digital art is so cool and the owners are really down to earth guys. Definitely a necessary stop while you’re downtown. I always just go for a Dogfish cause their bar is pretty standard. But they make up for it in ambiance. Thanks guys!
