Great sushi. Quality rolls with a unique menu. The only reason I’m not giving this place 5 stars is because of the atmosphere. Boring restaurant. Better off getting food to-go.

Pass on this one. I think they had a change in ownership and the food options have become more limited but the service has definitely become awful whether you dine in or get delivery. We used to go here every week or two as a go-to place but now I avoid it. Sometimes when I call for delivery they say they aren’t open during a normal time with no explanation or they just aren’t doing delivery with no explanation. Again I think this is due to a change in ownership but it’s no longer a place we go to.

They recently shortened their entre menu but still have great sushi and a large selection. I recommend the Sakura rolls.

This place was great when they first opened. A few years later and they have dropped the ball. It seems like all the attention is put into the Tiki lounge upstairs. Food has become less fresh, menu has shrunk, and certain dishes have gotten to be smaller portions. Overall not bad sushi but there are better options elsewhere in my opinion.

This place has gone waay downhill. Increased prices and decreased the quality of food in last several months. I will not return. Try Tsuru in Basking Ridge for a more enjoyable meal!

Came in on a Sunday evening. The miso soup and salad were very good but that’s where the good part of the meal ended. The sushi was wrapped so poorly. Every roll Fell apart as tried to pick it up. Several of the pieces tasted very fishy. We were all worried we would get sick. Service was also poor. We sat with empty water glasses for long time.

I have gone to Nagoya several times over the last year and always enjoyed their sushi. I liked that they had a variety of special rolls which were usually very good. They are pricy but I didn’t mind paying for good sushi. I just went today and the entire menu changed. It was cut in half practically. To play it safe I ordered a couple of the rolls I usually get. I was very disappointed. All 3 rolls tasted completely different and not for the better. Definitely not worth the high price anymore. I likely won’t go back.

Im literally waiting on hold as I write this. I have been on hold for 12 minutes and 32 seconds so far. I called for a delivery order and the lady on phone said let me check if the driver is available. Im still on hold… heres a recomendation… tell me to call back… tell me to come pick it up… do something! I am ordering from Nagoya in Westfield. I can probably pick it up there and be back home before I get a response here. 18 minutes so far. Ive heard the service level is low here and now I can agree. Forget this place. Food was ok that is why give the 2 stars… thanks guys!

Hidden gem in the middle of nowhere with really yummy and flavorful special rolls. Sushi pizza is pretty good too. So empty on weekdays.

Do not use a credit card at this establishment. They will double-dip, or worse.

I love Nagoya. I had the best chicken teriyaki here once but I usually get the sushi and it’s good! I also love the appetizers and the bartender is a genius! It has a trendy setting classy décor and the bar upstairs is a different world. I highly recommend this place.

Small restaurant with great variety of Japanese foods. Good flavors and friendly staff especially regarding recommendations. Enjoyed the sushi … Too many to describe them all but the ahi tuna was a delight.

Fast service, friendly staff, & great sushi Sushi is very fresh and we waited a decent and reasonable time for this quality sushi. Maybe waited 8 mins. There is even outdoor seating, although not many.

One of the nicest sushi restaurants I have visited in NJ. Convenient location and nice décor. My favorites are: Dragon roll, Eel with avocado, and Alaskan roll. For dessert, I had Tempura fried ice cream. They also have a nice sake selection. Summer time, you can dine outside, which is quite nice. They have bar/lounge area upstairs. It’s a nice place to relax with a few drinks. I would definitely go back again!

My friend took me here for dinner. I really like this place for sushi. No matter what u order it’s always fresh and delicious. The staff is very knowledgable and friendly. The décor is modern and warm, and comfortable. Nagoya is located in the center of Berkeley Hts on Springfield ave. not far from the Berkeley Hts. train station, and police dept. There is metered parking on the street b/f 6p. After 6p it’s free, or park in the free parking lot on the side of the building. I enjoy the many different speciality drink which are available. You have many choices to choose from off of Nagoya’s extensive menu. I chose to eat sushi. I love the dragon roll, spider roll, eel w/avocado, the Phoenix roll, Fuji roll, Nagoya batter roll, and tsunami roll are just a few to mention. There are many cooked dishes to if sushi isn’t ur bag. Mango chicken or shrimp, along with a wide assortment of Chinese dishes. For dessert try the tempura fried ice cream. It was excellent. If u go out to eat between 8 – 9 pm on weekends it’s less crowded, otherwise it can take a little while to get ur food. U can go upstairs after dinner to the tiki bar for after dinner drinks. It’s a throw back to the Tom Selleck days in Hawaii. I would highly recommend this place.

Our table of four had been here as a group some time ago, and thought we would add it back to the rotation. Although the food was good, the service was horrible. They claim to be a martini bar, but were confused as to how to make an Absolut dirty; I should have known that it would be a challenging evening when we waited 10 minutes for simple drinks on a quiet night. During drinks we were interrupted 4 times by our server who wondered if we wanted to order yet. We finally succumbed to her pressure by ordering appetizers(one came promptly, the other we waited 10 minutes before we got it). One of us ordered skirt steak cooked medium; it was cold/raw and the server took it to the kitchen for additional cooking. My meal was served fine, but my entrée arrived at the same as the reheated skirt steak. The other couple in our party didn’t get their sushi entrees for 12 more minutes. The timing of the kitchen was abominable at best, and certainly unprofessional. Once we got through the awful service issues, the food was good. But I won’t return as I go to dinner to relax with family and friends, not be hassled and have to explain to the staff how they should do their job.
