terribly over priced, average hamburger, no bag for fries? makes no sense. a simple bag for the fries is all I ask I didn’t like I had the fries scattered all around. peanuts a gimmick, I opted out, as it doesn’t sound sanitary.

Good burgers, fresh fries, tons of toppings and free peanuts I say way to go. The meat did lack flavor but the toppings made up for that. If in the area I’ll be back :)

Call me crazy but this is the first time I’ve been inside a Five Guys and ordered a second Little Cheeseburger just because I saw my boyfriend get back in line and asked him what he was doing(ordering himself another Cheeseburger). Yes, we shared an order of small fries; they were swallowed up before our next order was ready. So, we resorted to the peanuts; no one will be able to eat as many as they offer to their customers for free! I’d score this location higher if it wasn’t FREEZING inside the dining room. It’s even colder outside so there’s no escaping the goose pimples, shivering and chattering teeth. Of course, ice cold soda doesn’t help but it is necessary for washing down all the food I mentioned. The warmest place is within the double doors. IFTHEYBUILD A BARTOPUTMYFOODINTHATAREA, I’D BEEATINGOVERTHEREIN A HEARTBEAT!

Igave my detailed order and waited about 30 – 40 minutes for my food and order came out wrong. Igave my detailed order since I’m allergic to some of the ingredients. couldn’t eat my food and they were«too busy» to deal with me. Never going back to Five Guys ever in my life.

Over priced fast food. Burgers are not bad but not worth the money spent. Have had better burgers at other near by restaurants. Nothing special about this place.

The burgers are fresh and delicious. I also love the fries! One of the few places I go when I want a burger.

Ok so beginning of the year i found out i have a gluten allergy. Which makes it difficult to eat anywhere really. Thankfully i found out that 5 Guys does help those with a gluten allergy. They have a separate fryer for the fries and offers food bowls or lettuce wrapped burgers. The moment you tell them about the gluten allergy the staff changes their gloves and makes sure everything is done with your food before they go about cooking anything with gluten. I love it here, one of the most cautious fast food places ever. Only a 4 start review because with the exception of 3 cashiers I’ve had, everyone else acts kinda rude when you address them! Thank you 5 guys for helping those of us with this allergy!

I read an article about 5 Guys so I really pushed my husband to give it a try… Well it wasn’t all it’s cracked up to be. I can say that without a doubt — I make better burgers at home. When you go out to eat and spend your money on food — you kind of want to eat something better than you could make — and this wasn’t the case. The toppings were kind of cool — but nothing out of the ordinary. I wanted like maybe a fried egg on top of my burger… The fries were good — but again nothing special. The peanuts you get for free??? I am not a fan of peanuts. So there you go… The food was just ok. The service was fine. Oh, my husband asked for a well done burger and it wasn’t well done.

Super Greasy burgers, average fries, at outrageous prices: $ 5.89 for a burger, $ 2.29 for a reg soda, $ 2.49 for little fries. Décor awful, hardwood chairs, small tables, factory floor with bags of potato sacks and peanut oil sitting on the floor. Why would anyone want to go back to this place? Doesn’t compare to Smashburgers or Portillos.

Stood in line trying to read a menu that was so overwhelming & not very informative at all.(we probably should of just read a paper menu instead). My friend asked the guy taking our order«So what’s the difference between a little burger & a regular» and he just pretty much ignored her. So we ended up ordering regular cheeseburgers, with fries & a drink. Mind you, there are NO value meals here & you have to pay for everything individual. The guy working behind the register, was NO help to us at all. Once we finally get our food, we open our burgers & there are 2 patties on it. We did NOT order a double cheeseburger, so why the hell was there 2 patties? I was not impressed at all by the quality of the burger, the fries needed cheese or something & the drinks, well lets just say there are at least 50 different ways you could make your own drink(which was the only reason I gave this place 2 stars, because of the hands on variety). Sorry I would never come back… Smash-burger is where it’s at, compared to Five Guys. Not worth the price, or the service… very disappointed :(

Food was good, not great, not spectacular, and certainly not worth what we paid for it. Maybe this is what passes for a great hamburger place in NYC, but it has a long way to go to catch up to its hometown Chicago competitors. We won’t be back — unless someone else is buying.

This is more of a review of Five Guys in general rather than this specific location. The only really location specific-negatives there were was the absence of trays and the typical«I-don’t-care» type attitude that I’m becoming all to accustomed to at these fast casual type places. Five Guys the franchise, however … I don’t understand it. Like Beatriz R. said, «I wasn’t really WOW’d… I was expecting a little more out of it.» This is the third Five Guys I’ve been too, expecting the next burger to be better than the last, to absolutely blow me away. Yet nay, this hasn’t been the case. I mean they’re good burgers, and if this was a «fast food» joint, I’d say they’re the best of the bunch. But at those prices — $ 13 for a bacon cheeseburger, fries and a drink — and for the quality of burger I get(a shade better than Wendy’s), it’s kind of like I’m bending over and telling Five Guys, «Have your way with me!» (CUE«Glory, Glory Hallelujah» background music) BUTNO! I WILLNOLONGERBEOBJECTIFIED! I AM A PERSON, FIVEGUYS! A PERSONWHOHAS A LIMITEDBUDGETANDEXPECTSMYMEATTOBEWORTHTHECOST(that’s what she said?)! ISTHATTOMUCHTOASK?! (CUELARGECROWD, LISTENINGATTENTIVELY, YELLING«NO!») Whew … that took a lot out of me! I could go for a burger and fries right about now…

Not sure what the low ratings of this place are for but I like 5 Guys. I’ve been here numerous times and have enjoyed their great juicy burgers. In this area, there’s nothing that compares. Anyone complaining about the prices should stroll across the street to McNasty and cop a few burgers with a side of pink slime. The burgers here are fine dining quality. The only gripe I have is the long wait time but I guess it’s worth waiting for a tasty product.

Came here with my family and I must say I wasn’t really WOW’d I mean the burger is good but I guess I was expecting a little more out of it. I ordered a burger and I guess I didn’t know that it had 2 patties the sucker was huge I wish I would’ve stuck to the one they call«little» if it means it only had 1 patty lol. My mom really enjoyed the free peanuts they have all over the place, I LOVED their cute soda dispenser real fancy and hitech! lol The place décor is pretty neat but the set up makes it a bit weird to move thru especially how the tables are set-up. If I am in the area I’d come again

I just had to try this outrageously priced burger since my son kept singing some ‘Dayumm’ song about Five Guys burgers from Youtube. Plus President Obama ate there and it was apparently a big deal. The place is narrow, kinda crowded with too many tables & the strategic bags of potatoes keep the ordering line mostly straight. The menu was simple & not fussy at all. So that minimalist style should keep you & the person in front of you from repeating«Can I get uhhh, ummmm» several times. Besides the burgers, they offer hot dogs, grilled cheese & a veggie sandwich, maybe something else but my focus was on burgers really. Lots & lots of condiments to choose from that are all included as well. I could not imagine getting that many toppings & be able to taste my burger, but if you like that type of thing then hey… I appreciate that unlike cheap as hell McDonald’s, Five Guys doesn’t charge for extra toppings on a burger either. But then again, they are some expensive ass burgers, too… I ordered the bacon cheeseburger $ 7.29(?), little bacon cheeseburger which is around $ 5.29 or so, the regular(but humongous still) fries for $ 2.99 which came to over $ 17. That’s a lot of money for two burgers & an order of fries. The regular burgers come with 2 patties, and the smaller is just 1 patty which is enough for me especially with an overflowing 12 oz cup of french fries paired with. The kitchen was especially clean, orderly & completely open for you to see each person that handles your food. They seem to have an assembly line operation going that’s not complicated. No employees arguing or yelling over each other, they actually speak with their inside voices, imagine that?! It’s a sin & a shame that that’s refreshing nowadays… If you order multiple burgers, just reference your receipt & you’ll see corresponding numbered stickers on each wrapped sandwich. So simple and so darn smart. All of the toppings taste and look so much better than the usual fare. I don’t like, scratch that, I hate pickles on my food but they had those thick crinkly kind that looked fresh. They even serve the bacon chopped up, instead of those long strips that can slide around-so cool. I was impressed by the efficiency, numbering system, veggie options & the overall quality. The burgers & fries are very, very good comparably. I just know to save up my hard earned money when I have a taste for a better burger in the area– SEVENTEENMUTHAPLUCKINDOLLARS!!! REALLY? Aw, lemme get my wallet…

The burgers are good, because they use quality meat and cook them fresh. But that’s where the positives of going to this place end. I don’t understand how cooking something fresh or using better than garbage meat equates to the high prices this company charges. Come on, it’s not like their in the back grinding filet mignon. Also, the burger are too small, even if they give you two patties it still is barely enough to feed a beast like myself, sorry your not fooling anyone. Second, the fries are a complete rip-off, some of the worst fries I have ever tasted in my life, they were supposedly cajun too. The problem is that they are greasy, soggy, and flavorless. I would reccommend cutting down on the thickness so that they can cook properly and also using fucking salt. But in the end it should not cost $ 12 for a cheeseburger, fry, and small drink. Another thing that pisses me off about this place is the pop machine. It’s concept is retarded because nobody really wants that many flavor choices, unless your a five yearly striving to become diabetic by your 10th birthday. I would glady pay less if it meant just having a regular coke machine rather than having the option to pour cherry-vanilla-lime-orange syrup flavor into my drink. I was going to give you 3-stars but the pop machine and knowing how much it cost pissed me off so much I took one away.

New location in Berwyn. Great burgers. I can pass on the fries though. Their pop machine has over 100 flavors. They have outdoor seating. And if your friends are not into burgers, Chipotle and Buffalo Wild Wings is nearby. Open 11a-10p every day.
