I always come here when I visit Michigan. Nice and friendly staff. Clean and organized establishment. I received my food quickly and it was nice and hot. I usually order the fried chicken and share a basket of snackers. I love the snackers and the cheese it comes with. I also had the lemonade which is great.

After hearing Olga’s filed for bankruptcy I had a sense of urgency to dine there upon my recent visit to Michigan. You can’t go wrong with an Olga’s salad, original, and snackers. Make sure to add cayenne to all of the above mentioned items. I’m also a fan of their napkins. Odd, I realize, but it’s the little touches sometimes. The food was great. Portions seemed smaller, or perhaps my stomach just expanded… I’ll go with the first option. I also scored some salad dressing to go!

Not a huge fan of the original Olga sandwich but it’s decent. Did enjoy their smoothies and free bread pudding.

We get carry out or dine in a couple times a week. We can’t get enough of their salad and Olga bread! $ 5 off every $ 50 you spend!

Food is great; it’s a chain, so quality is generally consistent. I have zero complaints there. However, I will never go back to this location after an experience I had today. I walked in around 5:20 pm, ready to place a carry out order. There were no other customers anywhere nearby, so I stood at the counter, consulting the menu. When the young counter worker was finally about to help me, another man entered the store, walked up to the counter and started ordering. The young worker explained I was first, but the man made a very rude comment, said he had previously placed a carry out order and then went«around the corner,» and apparently had more to order or something. As she proceeded to then help this arrogant, obnoxious customer, I realized my only option was to walk out. So I did. I will not return. I realize this man was the rudest person involved, but I also cannot patronize any business where I am treated so poorly. Sorry, Olgas, but that man cost you a customer.

Is it because I miss this place so much that I give it 5 stars? Perhaps. I haven’t lived in Michigan since 1986 but always love to stop in when I’m home. Olga’s has been making Mediterranean cuisine cool since before it was cool to eat Mediterranean. Yeah, that long! How do I get an Olga’s in Memphis? Lots of choices on the menu, but I still generally stock the Olga’s original. It’s what made them a success and what makes a Midwestern girl like me who lives down south dream about the next stop in.

The food at any Olga’s is usually pretty predictable. The taste and quality of the food was fine. The service however, was poor.

Olga’s Kitchen is serious business in these parts. Being that it’s a local place, and it’s delicious, makes it’s a double whammy of goodness to me. In between the breads, snacker’s and the Original Olga, I am in heaven. I don’t come to this particular location all that often because it’s not to close to me, but it’s next to Costco, so I come here when I’m done shopping there. Today was no exception as I was starving after leaving Costco and on my way home. I always get the same thing usually. I got the original Olga with a drink because that’s what I wanted. Also, I have tried their snacker’s with marinara app before, and that was delicious. The service today was not on point and actually a little slow and slacking. Not bad service, just slow with missing parts. I will not dock a star since I love this place to much. Overall Olga’s is consistent and I love how their menu changes but they still keep the«good stuff» on there. I will return in the future!

Olga’s is homegrown Detroit. It has several locations around the Detroit suburbs and now other locations in other states. The food is good. They serve an «Olga Original» which is a version of the gyro sandwich. The meet is a bit different than a typical gyro meet from Grecian Delight, Kronos, or Olympia. Probably less filler, which is a good thing. The yogurt sauce is a bit thicker and sweeter than typical too. Finally, the most important difference is the pita. It’s handmade at the restaurant and is much more soft and chewy than your typical pita. The sides are good as well. Curly fries with some season mix sprinkled on it. You can also choose from a pasta salad, side salad, or soup. If you order a soup, you get snackers with it. It’s fried pita slices sprinkled with some seasoning that is hard to stop eating. It comes with some type of flavored butter. If you really like those snackers, you can get a whole side order! For drinks, their lemonade is house made and is good. If you like lemonade. So I sound pretty positive about this place. Typically would give it 3 – 4 stars. Then why 2? Every time I’ve been to this location, they’ve consistently destroyed the customer experience. When dining in, they are very slow in coming to the table to greet you. Once you place your order, it takes forever to get you the food. It’s surprising how slow they can get. Sometimes I wonder if they forgot I was there. Tonight, I ordered carry-out. They quote me that it’d be ready in 10 minutes. It took over 25 minutes. How can you screw that up that much? Their excuse was that they got busy with carryout. Then why wouldn’t they quote me a longer time? Over 2x the quoted time. They seem to work hard to disappoint even with carryout. It’s definitely not an isolated experience based on the reviews that have been posted. I spoke with the manager, so hopefully they realize their issues and will work on their service. I will keep you posted.

I visit this location so that I can get to-go quickly from work and always order with atleast 30 mins notice… The food is always good, but this last time couple of visits have been a nightmare in waiting for my order only to have them get it wrong. They do not watch the Curbside at this location so be forewarned that you have to go inside, although advertising they offer the service. You would think dropping $ 20 bucks on lunch to-go would afford you to have the luxury.

quality food i usually only get the med spinach salad but its very good. I really like the Olga snackers and the swiss cheese spread stuff is very good. I go here at least 3 or 4 times when i am in the area for work. I would definitely recommend calling it in prior to arriving if you are tight on time.

Having lived in Michigan for over 40 years, I have experienced the changes that Olga’s has gone through over the decades. Most of the changes have been for the better, but some others have not. First, I commend Olga’s on using fresh ingredients, that are prepared to specification, and are typically consistent with every visit. The quality of the food is great, and I have never been disappointed. Staff is friendly, and usually prompt, but sometimes there can be a wait for a server to get to your table — which is annoying. Customers should never wait more than a few minutes after they are seated at any restaurant. Another vexing problem is having to overhear picky patrons at neighboring tables ordering things without onions, tomatoes, sauce etc. — this should not be allowed! :) Seriously though, my biggest problem with Olga’s is directed at their Salad items. Someone in the cost estimating department at Olga’s corporate must have really fixated on cutting costs in this area. The price, for a meal-sized Olga Salad, at the time of this review, is $ 7.39 — I’m not usually one to bicker about portion size, but the salad you get is woefully undersized and overvalued. Compared to a a much better salad at Leo’s Coney Island for $ 7.79 that serves THREE to FOUR people — well, you can see the reality of my protest. Gone is the unlimited Salad that used to be on the menu — which used to be an excellent value. Since I usually order salad when I dine at Olga’s Kitchen, I can only give it three stars. That won’t stop me from dining there though :)

Seated Promtly. Waited 10 minutes for server. Other patrons were seated after us and served immediately. Walked out.

I am updating my review because I was contacted by Olga’s corporate who sincerely wanted to know more about my experience. I was impressed by the customer service on the corporate level. I will still say that your experience here varies greatly depending on your server, but in the past couple times I have seen improvement.

Had a problem with this location the first time I went. Someone in the management contacted me right away and apologized, and helped right away. Went back, had great service. Would recommend this restaurant, would return again if I’m in the area.

Check in and get a free dessert! Can’t beat that! This is my favorite Olga’s. The customer service is always excellent. So much so that my 4 year old niece made it a point to tell our waitress that she was a «nice lady». Aren’t kids adorable? Any who, I always come to this location when I’m visiting home. It’s a must. I start to crave a 3 Cheese Olga as soon as I get off the plane. I wish we had one of these in NYC. Do they franchise? I ordered a 3 Cheese Olga and fries. It was delicious. My 5 yr old niece ordered a hot dog off the kids menu and exclaimed that it was the best hot dog she ever ate.(I think the Olga bread wrapped around it is what made it so good). My other niece is a 4 year old vegetarian so she just had peaches and a salad. The waitress was so accommodating with my little vegetarian’s choices. She still charged us the kids meal price. They also enjoyed the ice cream for dessert. My mother’s only complaint(she’s hard to please) was that they didn’t keep the seasonings on the table anymore. When the bill claim, my mother exclaimed«That’s It?». Yes, dinner for 4 including dessert was pretty reasonable. So reasonable that I treated instead of my mother.(I earned some brownie points.)

They’re really helpful here and the food is pretty good. I always request the snackers with easy seasoning, but that’s just a taste preference.

I always liked Olga’s every since I was a kid. There bread is to die for. That is what makes Olga’s so special. I am old school and love the regular olga’s and of course the Curley frie’s rock. Well recently I tried there new Greek Style Olga Sandwich and was kind of bummed out. No flavor at all and the bread that I usually rave about was dried out and very stale. The Service was good, but can tell she just started and she gave it her best shot. The only thing is that usually soap comes first not at the same time. The food was hot and that made up for that. I telling you keep to the basic at Olga’s and you will be happy. The prices are good and it is clean.

Slow service, dirty silverware, staff unfocused. Who is running this location? Not the usual Olga’s experience. This particular location is always a poor performer. Each time I come here… I think the same thing… Why did I come here…
