Horrendous service. Took close to 25 minutes to get my order and they got the order wrong. Gave me the completely wrong sandwich which I didn’t realize until I got home. Need to seriously get their act together.

Brooklyn Water Bagel is a good bagel shop. They filter the water so they say the bagels taste better. They have a big bagel making machine too that is neat. The iced coffee has frozen coffee iced cubes. It is a chain style resurant. I like it there and eat the bagels.

Quick and yummy breakfast. I got the Brownsville with an Asiago bagel and it was delicious; only complaint is that the bagel had a little too much cream cheese. Probably the best bagel I’ve ever had though. You can see them making the bagels through a window so that tells you just how fresh they are. They also have a coffee bar where you make your own caffeinated beverage. They have a wide variety of different syrups, sweeteners and coffee flavors. Oh, they also have iced coffee iced cubes so you never have to worry about watered down coffee when coming here!

Iced coffee ice cubes!!! I’m super impressed… Great coffee great food. this is one of my favorite breakfast places in the area! Whoever thought of the ice cubes is a genius… For a coffee lover like myself I greatly appreciate the extra effort AND caffeine in my coffee

While they bagels are delicious this particular location is somewhat incompetent. I placed a catering order for a board meeting and i placed my order with two specifics: extra tubs of spread(for which I paid extra) and asked that the bagels be cut into quarters. They don’t deliver! I told them I need a prompt pick for 7:30am upon arrival I had to wait for about 15 mins additional and then arrived to my meeting only to discover: 1. NOCREAMCHEESE/SPREADS(a crime!) — a bagel place that didn’t give spreads 2. My bagels were NOT cut 3. The assorted muffins looked like they had been trampled on by a hobbit. So displeased!!! Order from the east boca location(they are super pleasant and helpful there unlike the west location)

What’s wrong with me? I keep hoping to find a passable bagel and am always let down. I should know better. But, I keep coming back to high hopes and being disappointed again. I’m here in Boca at my place for a couple of days before heading back down to my project in Miami and went this morning for my usual corned beef hash and grits at Bagel City South on SW18th. The place is empty and there is a sign on the window that they are closed. Where to go? I find the place — Brooklyn Original Bagel Water and figure — how bad can it be? Let’s just see. When you go in, you’ll be standing in a line of people watching the magic bagel machine spit out perfectly formed, uniform, rings of dough. They are then boiled — as they must be — and then baked, as they also must be, but ideally in a brick oven — which they are not here. So far so good. And this chain prominently displays behind gleaming glass, a Rube Goldbergish assortment of pipes, vats, cylinders, valves, and assorted other impressive plumbing and calls it the«Brooklynizer,» or something equally asinine. It’s supposed mission is to convert generally boring South Palm Beach water to something that would come out of a tap on Coney Island Avenue. Never gonna happen! So why play this stupid game on gullible innocents? As expected, these bagels were crap. Soft and mushy on the inside, boring and non-chewy on the outside, no hint of malt in the flour, which is an absolute must. Not to get into a disquisition on bagelus veritas, but these are nowhere near the real enchilada. I just want to leave you with this thought: you folks here who think these bagels are anything but junk are clueless. Rates one star because there is nothing less. Good eatin!

a slight upgrade compared to the menu/quality for ‘faster’ bfast options than einsteins. a bit expensive around ~$ 14 for a big iced coffee and one lox bagel. however the line went fast on a sunday morning(you came in with the breeze!), homegirls up front knew what they were doing. take out was a breeze, if i wasn’t on the go obvi get the smaller sized coffee and fill up as needed.

Brooklyn water Bagel aka BWB is hubs and go to place for breakfast. We are bagel lovers so to get a bagel here beats any other place we tried. I usually get a sesame bagel with tuna, yes breakfast or lunch time haha. Hubs is a little more simpler with a everything bagel and cream cheese. Not only is there food delicious they have the best coffee around! Iced coffee that is. The ice cubes they out in the iced coffee are made from coffee! So say goodbye to a water down ice coffee! Love it!

Very good spot for breakfast before the beach, albeit a little on the small side compared to the business they get. I like that you can watch them make the bagels as you wait in line. The line wait wasn’t too long and the wait for the food was the same. I had the Greenpoint which was pretty tasty and a good amount for the price. The more«gourmet» options are a little pricier but come loaded with ingredients and spread. Although I’m not big on breakfast, this is a good option compared to traditional breakfast fair.

Take out is very unorganized. The person behind you will most likely cut you unintentionally. It’s also very chaotic and there are no formation of lines. The bagels are good, not special or anything. The coolest part is having iced coffee ice.

Very cute place you can tell it was a chain they had the honeymooners playing on TVs all over the place that was pretty cool but I knew it wasn’t a true New York deli when I asked for capers on my bagel and he said what are those lol

I’ve eaten here a few times and the bagels are delicious. I usually get the everything bagel. Clyde likes plain. I’ve had the egg and cheese on a toasted bagel for breakfast. Delicious. The tuna salad sandwich was delicious also. Clyde had a ham and Swiss cheese bagel sandwich that he enjoyed. Even if you don’t like bagels, their ice coffee is worth the trip. I love the coffee ice cubs. They have different flavor syrups you can add. I put a squirt of chocolate in my ice coffee instead of sugar. It was so good. The restaurant appears to be very clean. Every time I’ve been there the tables were kept clean, trash was picked up, and the area where sodas, coffee, and condiments are kept was neat and well stocked. They also have lots of different spreads, bagel sandwiches, and fresh baked muffins. I’ve been to Brooklyn, New York, but I’ve never eaten a bagel there. I don’t know if these bagels are really original Brooklyn bagels. For Boca Raton they’re very good bagels.

I was hungry and needed a quick bite to eat on this morning and thought we’d head here. First time, so was unaware of the huge lines! But, they do move rather quickly. I got an everything bagel scooped, with ham, egg, and cheese. The portions were generous. Something I really enjoyed was what tasted like real eggs. If you’ve eaten at dunken donuts, this place does not have a presized egg like dunken. So much more protein here if that’s your style. Came out smoken hot, which is good. It would have been a 5 star review but I must say the everything bagel tasted pretty salty. Not sure if this was a one time ordeal as it was my first time eating here so will have to try again and update the review. next time I’ll get an onion bagel to prevent the possibility of to much salt. If your choice is this or any other fast food places, around this location, choose here.

The bagels and cream cheese are delicious here. I tried the bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel and I’m not sure which it was but something was extremely salty which overpowered the taste of everything. If they would just make everything a little less salty it would be perfect

I have been to this location quite a few times now. I really don’t come for the bagels, it’s the iced coffee that draws me in. I used to spend a lot of time in Delray so I am comparing this location to the Delray store. I love the Delray store. In Delray the employees are super nice, the food is good and you can make your own coffee concoctions. They also have a decent variety of muffins. This location I’m not loving so much. A few times my bagel wasn’t prepared the way I ordered it, they have a very limited selection of muffins but most importantly the staff is clueless. On a positive note, the store is very clean and parking is not an issue. Still I will not return based on my experience this week. About two weeks ago I stopped in before work. I ordered a bagel with nova and cream cheese. When I opened the wrapper I immediately noticed a long piece of hair. Gross! I called the store and asked to speak with the manager. Dan was the mgr who took my call. At first he was rude and basically said he was to busy with customers to talk to me. But I kept talking anyway. Finially after hearing me complain about food safety and cross contamination his attitude softened. Dan became very apologetic and admitted that he was embarrassed that I found a hair between the cream cheese and nova. He told me next time I come in to ask for him and he will personally make me a delicious hair free bagel. I gave him my name and we said goodbye. Fast forward a week or two. I step up to the counter and explain to the cashier I have a credit for a bagel and I was to ask for the mgr. That is when the interigation began. Who did I speak to, exactly what day was I in and do I have a receipt from that day. Omg, it’s 645 am and I feel like I’m being accused of murder. I asked her to please just get her manager. Before allowing Dan to speak with me she explains to him why I am asking for him. He looks directly at me, does not even say hello and walks away. The cashier tells me he will be right back. At this point I just want to pay for my breakfast and leave. It shouldn’t be mentally exhausting to grab a bagel on your way to work. This is where I get pissed off. Dan comes marching up to the counter and simply says someone used my credit. Are you kidding me? I told him that couldn’t be true. Dan then proceeds to explain the credit policy he has in place. When people call with a complaint he writes their name on a piece of paper and tacks it on the wall in the office. OK so now Dan is assuming because the piece of paper with my name is missing that automatically means the credit has been used? I am speechless and just offer to pay for my bagel. This definitely was not worth the time or aggravation. He knew I was clearly pissed off at his cocky attitude. WTF, did he really think that I was trying to scam him for a free bagel? Unbelievable. He was so rude I couldn’t believe he is the store manager. Finally Dan says to me that he TRUSTED me. He will cover my stupid bagel. And he sees no reason why I would lie! Are you kidding me? I’m a credit manager not a bagel theif! I have been called a lot of things but never once called a theif which is sort of what he was insinuating. The bagels are good. Not as good as the Delray location. The new location in East Boca is very good too. This location not so much. They clearly need a new manager. Maybe one with common sense. I definitely will not be returning.

Coffee ice cubes for your iced coffee? Genius!!! So refreshing on these hot Florida days! They have a soda fountain and lots of flavor pumps(cherry, vanilla, chocolate, etc) The bagels are really, really good too. I just ask the cashier what came out of the oven last and enjoy a hot one. I’m not picky with toppings, but poppy and ET are my favs. They also have some nice pastries that change regularly. I’m partial to the black and white cookie, perfect harmony!

I came in on a Sunday to find this place packed. The line was huge, the place was filled, and I figured this must be amazing. We love bagels. Favorites of ours are onion bagels, garlic bagels, and asiago or similar cheese bagels. We tried an asiago with scallion cream cheese and onion with plain. The onion with plain was OK. They mostly out the cream cheese in the center hole it seemed so thank goodness we ate there and were able to respread. I know that’s picky, but its annoying when the cream cheese is primarily not on the bagel. It was a big chewy and not very flavorful — mostly a plain, chewy bagel with some onions on top. The asiago was weird. It almost tasted deep fried. Which was confusing. The cheese was hard. The bagel was unusually greasy. Not pleasant. The place is more expensive than other bagel places around too — what cost us 9 dollars and some change cost about 5 or 6 elsewhere. So that tops it off for me. Not somewhere I am keen on coming back to.

Gave them a try on a weekday around 12:15. LINE: since others have mentioned it, I’ll note that there was a short queue, but it moved quickly. Not sure how it gets on a weekday or weekend early morning, but as long as it moves, what’s the big deal? Like folks, do you really expect no wait at all? STAFF: lots of them — cleaning tables, restocking, and behind the counter. BAGELS: all sorts of varieties, as you would expect. Had the onion and partner had the whole wheat and both tasted great. Will comment more/update review after trying more bagels solo, without anything on them. That’s the best way to assess bagels! SANDWICH: had tuna salad and chicken salad, the sandwiches had generous amounts of each, along with fresh tomato slices and lettuce. Well worth $ 6.99 COFFEE: medium blend was quite good, free refills(although no signage about refills, just ask) WATER: yes, it’s different and whatever process of reverse osmosis used it does not have the taste or odor of our disgusting local water. PTL. Oh, they also offer free seltzer(sparkling) water. Will return to buy a bunch of bagels and try other sandwiches. The ambience was fine, I’m sure it gets jammed on weekends, which should be a good vibe. The old pictures on walls of Brooklyn scenes was cool, included Canarsie, where I spent teenage years. And yes, this parking lot is dangerous, exercise caution and patience.

The long awaited, long anticipated Original Brooklyn bagel Water Co. Is finally open and it meets all expectations… well at least mostly. For those not with familiar OBWBC, my laypersons’ understanding is that thru some sort of reverse osmosis process, the water is filtered and mineralized to mimic water from Brooklyn. Whatever the process is — whether it is the water that makes the difference or if it is just clever marketing — -all I can tell you is that my tastebuds gives these bagels a big thumbs up. Similar to my review of the Delray location, the bagels taste exactly the way they should — fresh, chewy and dense on the inside and a bit crisp on the outside. However, maybe it is because they just opened, this location is missing a couple of things that are available at Delray, including a bin for you to get coffee ice cubes for your ice coffee and an area to refill your iced coffee. Also, no egg bagels – which one of my faves and I was very disappointed they did not have. Lastly, the menu seems to be a bit smaller(eg did not see egg whites). That being said, they do have an entire syrup bar(including mocha, U-Bet chocolate syrup, strawberry, to name a few) for your coffee. Speaking of coffee, it is fantastic hot or iced. They also have a nice covered outdoor seating area. Do expect to wait on line on the weekends if you get here past 9am. Although the line may appear to be long, it moved pretty fast when I was there. Regardless, for true bagel lovers… waiting in line for the closest to NY bagel in FL you gonna get? Fo-get-Aboud-it!
