Don’t eat here unless you want to get sick. My boyfriend and I got food poisoning from their shitty calzones. Never been so sick from food in my life. Nasty.

Some of the best service in Boulder. Not the best or the fastest food in the world but the world I would use to describe them is consistent. The food is never going to be AMAZING but it’s going to be very close every time and the service is incredible every time. Just a group of really good employees. The older gentlemen that works there is one an example of how everyone should treat customers in the food industry.

Okay, so I came down from Fort Collins to visit a friend tonight, and we decided to order DP Dough to compare. The calzones were good — seemed like better ingredients, nicely baked but a little cold. But I’m here to talk about your cookies. Holy shit, we opened the box of chocolate chip cookies we’d ordered and they were freshly baked. Crispy but soft and gooey on the inside. The flavor was amazing. You guys totally nailed it. Thanks for giving me basically the best cookie of my life.

Eating the Mangus as I type this. It’s delicious… pepperoni, spinach, pesto, tomatoes, cheese, and a side of marinara. The cookie(pb & chocolate chip) was outstanding, and I’m really picky about sweets and baked goods. But, I also need to say thank you to the driver(Dustin? Justin?). I had a run-in with a St. Bernard this past weekend and my knee is the size of a very, very large grapefruit and I’m in more pain than I want to admit. My office at CU has a bunch of stairs, and I asked the driver if he wouldn’t mind helping me out by bringing the order up stairs for me. He was very sweet and understanding and brought my lunch right to me. I know it’s a small thing, but I’m so very appreciative. Those little things matter! THANKYOU.

Two stars is pushing it. Roni zone came with very little pepperoni, and was mostly cheese. Calzone prices have gone up, and the calzones have gone down in quality and size. Cookies are good, but staff and zones are not worth 7 bucks. Delivery has been horrible in the last 4 years. Often items show up late, and with mistakes. Used to love this place, but now they are not worth the trouble.

This place is my fave. I’ve had the roni zoni(an instant classic) and I think it was called falling rock(it’s like a baked potato) and it’s always sooooo good. The service is great and the cookies are also ridic good! It’s embarrassing how many times I’ve ordered from here

Had D.P. Dough for the second time tonight and was impressed and satisfied again. Placed my delivery order online. my order arrived within less than an hour with $ 30 of food and some pretty terrible weather. Driver was friendly and pretty cute! Best of all the food was delicious and everything was hot and fresh! You get so much food for your money, and they’re open«crazy late!» The calzones are awesome and I can’t wait to try the wings. Highly recommend for late night munchies in Denver. Where else can you get Ben and Jerry’s delivered to your house at midnight?!?

Coming from a college down where DP Dough was very prominent place for late night eating, I was super excited to see DP Dough near me. It didn’t disappoint at all. The guys behind the counter were really friendly, and the food was just a wonderful as I remembered. Awesome place for a nice meal.

I had forgotten my credit card at home, so it looked like I was using grubhub to order lunch! Usually this calls for a super long delivery time, but this time was different. The ETA for my food was 1:15 pm, and it had already arrived at 12:35. I was pretty pleased with the dude, and wished I could have tipped more than my pre-paid 25%. With the fast delivery came warm, fresh, gooey great grub. For the calzone, I ordered the Ranch Buffer Zone — breaded chicken with hot sauce, ranch, and cheese. The hot sauce was a great Louisiana style, mixed creamily with the ranch. There was a perfect amount of each sauce, and they also brought the extra that I had asked for. I had to satisfy my sweet tooth to meet the $ 10 delivery minimum with delicious freshly baked cookies. They were crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside… mmmm. I recieved all of this for $ 17, including the tip. Not too bad!

Do yourself a favor and order anything here. I’ve never had a better calzone. It may seriously have crack baked into the dough because it is that addicting. Get the peanut butter cookie though.(the chocolate chip is just greasy dough)

Good food at a decent price. A nice selection of calzones. I’m a fan of their«combat zone.» From order to delivery, it takes them about 45 minutes or less. They have a selection of sodas and drinks. Open super late!

Been waiting for over an hour and a half approaching two hours. Still have not recieved my calzone and soda… Should not take this long, it was ordered threw hungry buffs and it shouldn’t take this long. Not happy. Edit; Food is great, still warm after almost 2 hours, not fast but food is great.

I really wish I could give DP Dough more than three stars, but the food is worth maybe 2 stars. The service was definitely five stars. The older guy at the cash register was really friendly, and in a very authentic way, not the customer-service-robot way, which makes me really uncomfortable. All the other people working were nice as well and I’m not usually a fan of the college boy part time worker so that’s saying a lot. My calzone was over $ 8 after tax. I had the Black and Bleu calzone which seemed to have the most/most decadent ingredients: bleu cheese, bacon, hamburger, mozzarella, mushrooms. The fillings were decent but the dough/crust whatever was very bland and too chewy. Honestly, I could get a better and bigger meal from Domino’s. However, I guess I’d rather support these guys than Domino’s and DP Dough is literally across the street from my apartment. I probably won’t be going back unless I’m drunk and desperate, or if they revamp their recipe. DP Dough, if you’re reading this I’m sorry because you guys were hella nice.

We order from my office a few times, and the calzones are delish for a fair price($ 7 drink and calzone lunch special). The sauce is a little overpowering with a very strong initial impression that tappers off for a watery finish and leaves the final impression of simply being over spiced. Problem is that their customer service is terribly bad. They regularly get our order wrong and the other day the woman taking my order told me that they didn’t have the calzone I was attempting to order. I had to redirect her to the menu and show her where it was on their menu. I decided to drop in their store for the first time, to see why it is that they are regularly getting our orders wrong and having delay issues with delivery, and that was quite an eye opening experience. The place looks like a stoners dorm room, complete with a bunch of glazed over employees. They have the capacity to be a great place. The manager was very attentive to our order and delivery issues when they were brought up. They just seem to be overly unreliable. Maybe they will get that fixed in the near future, for the time being, you would likely be better getting your meal elsewhere.

An old freshman year favorite from Amherst, MA I was interested to retest these calzones after spending the past 10 years seeking out other crafters. The first thing that I noticed is how small these are for the money. It’s a terrible deal but actually is a blessing in disguise considering how sick you may well feel after eating one. The next thing is the sauce which upon popping the top will actually overwhelm your olfactory senses. To me the sauce should compliment the taste of the calzones but not dominate your senses as this is capable of doing. It is food however and with this much cheese and hot dough you’re guaranteed to be moderately satisfied(until digestion begins). They have a decent deal at the moment where you can get a zone and small fountain drink for under $ 6 with tax. My wrap up is that these are low quality ingredients stuffed into a fairly small piece of dough. On my personal rating chart of calzones these rank significantly below average. I’m a visitor from Boston so I can’t suggest any local alternatives but just about anything from another pizza shop should be on par or better.

They let me 100% custom-create my own calzone and didn’t charge double for doing so! And if you know me, that is an A+ in my book! Additionally, my friends & I played a prank(why I don’t know) on the person taking our order. As such, they remained bubbly, energetic, and very tolerant. In other words, they have great customer service to accompany their savory bites of dough too!

While the food is good, it can hardly compensate for the absurd wait time! When you walk in, the calzone can be ready in ten minutes. When you call in? Be prepared to wait at LEAST two hours for their 45-min. quote time. It’s up to you: do you want to have your meal sometime today? Try another place.

DP Dough rocks. Any zone is awes-zone. Try the so cal for a little spice. And obviously can’t go wrong with the classic buffer zone or chicken parmzone. It may be a spread out chain but they know calzones.
