Came here a little earlier for an 8:30PM reservations. We were able to get drinks at the bar quickly and seated upstairs just before 8:30. Started with the delicious watermelon margarita which was strong and super flavorful. Order guac and chips, chicken tacos, and chicken enchiladas. All of them were delicious and would order again. Before the meal was finished, I also had the Jamaica margarita which was very, very good. Not sure what the flavors were but it was fruity and delicious. Upon finishing the mean, we ordered shots of the Jamaican margarita — don’t remember that the shots were called. The bartender came directly over to our table and said«I made them very strong, hope thats okay». They were strong and they were amazing! Good, quick service. Nice upstairs with a wall full of windows, and two bars. Would come back and would recommend.

Great spot! Service, margaritas, and food were yum! I got the fish tacos and wow is all I can say! The marinade on the tilapia was delicious! I would definitely recommend! My boyfriend got the steak burrito which was fantastic too!

Ok so I see that anyone would give 5 stars for a good place to eat, but I kid you not people. This place has become my number one spot for tacos and delicious drinks. The service met my expectations and I felt satisfied with all aspects of this place.

I’ve always wanted to check this place out since I first saw it. Really creative open kitchen idea, which actually looks like an old school food truck. The interior is really cool, an I wish I had the chance to see the upstairs. Me and my honey came here for brunch, and the food was good. I had the enchiladas verdes with steak, and he had the huevos con chorizo. Both were tasty, but I would say the enchiladas were more filling. I also tried the margarita tamarindo, which had a unique taste to it that I couldn’t really place, and a little more tart than I imagined, but good regardless. Would visit again.

Really cute Mexican spot — the downstairs is cozy and has a great vibe. Our group loved all of our dishes(sopa azteca, queso fundido, vegetarian tacos and enchiladas) — unfortunately the service was not that great. It was somewhat early on a Saturday evening, and I do think that our server was maybe spread a bit thin — but we had to ask for everything at least twice. Also at one point he brought out flour tortillas instead of the corn tortillas which could have been messy since I can’t have gluten. Luckily, I was able to spot the difference. I would rank this more of a 3.5 based on the service and the risky allergy situation, but I rounded up because the ambiance and food were actually pretty lovely.

I like the décor of this place. It’s great to go during warmer weather. There’s rooftop seating in addition to the first floor. A friend & I went and asked if we can sit upstairs and was told it might be a wait because that’s where most people go. But, we were given the option to eat t the bar, which we agreed on. I like their margaritas. Not overly sweet and not stingey with the tequila. I got the fish taco special, which wasn’t bad. My friend got the steak tacos that came with a tri-dipping sauce. We both tried each other’s food and agreed that the steak tacos were better. They were small, however, for the price($ 14 for three). I’d probably come back here just for drinks.

I really want to love this place but it’s hard to when it’s one disappointment after the next. With the small portions & bloated prices, there’s not much value in the drinks & plates. The biggest crime really is the lack of flavor in the dishes. When going out for Mexican food, you expect robust spices & flavors. I found myself dowsing my dish in hot sauce to make it more delectable. If the flavors were outstanding, you could at least justify the prices. It is a great place aesthetically though! They have a taco truck built into the interior & really nice skylights. Music is very chill. I guess location is what you’re really paying for here. Amazing place if food quality or value isn’t a priority.

Summary: I’d give this place a good 3 – 3.5 star rating, and consider coming back for a happy hour or something IF I’m in the area. Its a two floor place right off of the L line Lorimer St stop in Brooklyn, which makes for a convenient stop in. I stopped in with a group of 5, and we were able to sneak a table between reservations. It was a bit tight, as it likely was for a group of 4, but we survived. Our waiter was friendly, and we went forward with her recommendation for the Mexican Burger, Enchiladas w/Steak, Veggie Tacos and Enchiladas with Chicken. All portions were just right(i.e. not too much and not too small) so we left in a good place. Key highlights of the food: — Burger: has a pineapple slice on it, which gives for a very interesting(good way) taste. — Chicken Enchiladas: light and airy, comes with beans and some others. I personally needed some more flavor, so ask for either red(hot) or green(mild) sauce — Steak Enchiladas: same as chicken, but had more flavor — Veggie Tacos: small portion and is served with 3 sauces For those who are claustrophobic, this likely is not a good spot for you. That being said, NYC as a whole may not be a very good spot for you…

They had fruity Mezcal drinks which are my new favorite thing. Watermelon, Pineapple, Lime and a few other flavors. They were crowded but the host was very accommodating and made some room for us near the bar. The bartender was very nice.

Nice Mexican place in Williamsburg. Two levels here with the bottom level more of a romantic vibe. Low lighting and the décor lends to the vibe. Upstairs is interesting. There are two parts, one is like a patio which is outdoor seating and the other half is covered outdoors seating. There’s also a bar upstairs. The food is good. Small portions but really good. The service, at least upstairs was so so. Not bad but not really good either.

This food is on.point. I went here for a bachelorette party– dinner. We all really enjoyed this spot because they offered an eclectic menu both suited for carnivores and even the vegans in our group. The staff also provided a complimentary shot of tequila. Lord. We all split guacamole to start, and kept it coming throughout the dinner. Very fresh, and the nacho’s were not greasy(a common fault of many of these restaurants). My friend and I split the queso fundido with chorizo, and the chicken pineapple tacos. Quite delicious. The taco’s were very refreshing and the fundido was just yummy. I would recommend splitting the queso between 2 – 4 people as an appetizer tho.

Drove all the way from Westchester. Went on a Saturday night, so my friends and I expected it to be busy. Wait was about 10 – 15 minutes. The host and our server Claudia were extremely friendly and accommodating. We shared several dishes, such as: carne asada tacos, enchiladas, esquites zona rosa. Drinks: jalapeño and watermelon margaritas. They were all to die for! I am giving this 3 stars because we had ordered ceviche de camarones(Shrimp ceviche) & it’s NOTATALL a ceviche. It was definitely more like Shrimp cocktail. Which wasn’t that good and when I INFORMED(not complain) the manager, he was extremely rude. I let him know that the ceviche was more like a cocktail dish and he basically didn’t give a sh*t. He wasn’t apologetic about us not liking the dish and that it didn’t taste good at all. He told us «what do you want me to do about it? You already ordered it.» At that point I was ready to smack fire out of dude. BUT Claudia was very understanding about the situation. Which we appreciated very much. Because we felt heard. We weren’t even looking for a free meal or any discount. We simply wanted to let them know to change the name of the dish to shrimp cocktail. Stop fooling people! That wasn’t ceviche! Anyways, drinks and the rest of the food was good. The manager needs to take a chill pill and listen to his customers once in a blue.

Great Mexican Food area! My Favorite Mexican restaurant! The place is amazing– They have a rooftop area that is huge and an indoor area that is also huge! You will never have to wait for a seat unless you request the roof during the summer time. The food is amazing; the Guacamole is fresh and has a great kick of spices to it. The Ceviche de Camaron is also amazing. All of the tacos are great and they are tiny so you can always switch them up and you can try the different flavors. The brunch menu has pancakes that are delicious. And they have a great kick to the dinner menu! The drinks are also great and there spicy margaritas are to die for. Great place must go!

If you’re in the mood for a light night with a rooftop deck with margaritas and chips & guac, then this is a great spot. They have multiple margaritas with various flavors. My girlfriend had a watermelon margarita, and I had a mix of orange and lime which was great. I’d definitely be back here, possibly for dinner which looked good.

To be honest I went there and wasn’t very much crazy about the food and price of the food. Of course the place is so cute, with the lights, the mezzanine and the view on Metropolitan avenue but the Tacos are SUPERMEGATINY and price is a little bit absurd. We are not in Manhattan or on Bedford ave… it is east williamsburg and it is not gourmet either. not for me.

3 stars for food. 5 stars for ambiance and friendly staff. I had the chicken tacos which were just okay and BF had the fish tacos he enjoyed. Watwemelon juice was ok and my tamarindo margarita was just ok, maybe another flavor is better. It’s not the best Mexican food I’ve ever had but the place is so darn cute upstairs and you don’t have to break the bank to eat here. I’d return again during summer months so I could enjoy the outdoor balcony.

I’m a fan! My brother and I took a ~45 minute drive out to Brooklyn on a Saturday during brunch to try something different and I’d say the trip was well worth it. Upon walking into the restaurant we were immediately greeted by a friendly hostess. The place is beautiful and definitely well suited for the neighborhood — very trendy and hip. There’s something different about Williamsburg — just the way people dress, speak, behave, etc. and this establishment seems to encompass just that. There’s outdoor seating in front of the restaurant, seating inside with plenty of windows/sunshine, and more outdoor seating on the rooftop. The whole set up is very different, hipster, whatever you want to call it. We shared the guacamole with queso-something — completely forgot what it’s called. Really good stuff but I’d say the queso was not worth the few dollars extra. It was fried to a crisp and I wasn’t quite sure how to eat it. I got the steak tacos which were fresh and delicious. You can tell they really care about presentation, as all their tacos are served on a multiple tier platter thing with 3 types of salsa. It’s appealing to the eyes and makes you feel like you’re not just eating, but having an «experience.» The steak tacos were literally steak, onions, and cilantro — no other usual taco toppings but I was still happy with it. The brunch menu is slightly different from the regular menu and they don’t offer chicken tacos for brunch which was annoying/disappointing — not a deal breaker though. My brother got the steak enchiladas which were equally delicious. I don’t really care for enchiladas but this was really good! Now at first I thought the food portions were a bit small for the price but at the end of the meal we were full and satisfied. I didn’t try any of their beverages because I don’t particularly like drinking in direct sunlight(we were there around noon) but I’ve heard great things about their specials and will probably try a margarita next time. Overall, we had a nice time — great food/atmosphere/service, and I hope to return in the near future. Also, the bathroom was spotless, which means the kitchen’s clean as well!

I’m not a fan of Mexican/taquerias so I cannot believe how much I truly enjoyed the food here! There is a lot of space available(inside, outside, rooftop). We were seated at an outside table right in front immediately. Service was quick so we were basically in and out! Waitress described the special of the day(tilapia fish tacos) and we decided to try yummmmm and we also ordered steak tacos along with chips and guac. ALL delicious. BESTTTTTGUACAMOLE I HAVETASTEDANYWHERE. Everrrrr!!! Also Mango margaritas were alright, I was already drunk so I’m not sure if they were too strong. Overall I love this place, will certainly be back!!! Greatttttt fooooood!!!

They’ve got a great rooftop outdoor thing. It looks like it’s in the middle of the building sorta, so I guess it’s a deck. My girlfriend was raving about their guacamole and tacos, she made those OMG faces and noises talking about it. We got there for a super late lunch, 3pm. We just polished off a bottle of wine, so we were lightly buzzed and ready for some food. The servers were all really friendly, we were directed upstairs to the outdoor space quickly, and they let us choose our table. I ordered a Modelo. It looked like it was cold, the glass was frosty, but is was luke warm. I took two sips… well gulps, to make sure. I kept waiting for the server to come back so I could tell him, but my bitch girlfriend told me to suck it up and swallow it down fast. Okay, I took another chug, then at that point I drank too much of it to complain. So I down the rest as I was told. The guacamole was just okay. I’ve definitely had way better. It was bland, the salsas were tasty though. The presentation on the tacos were really cute, and came with three salsas, mild to hot. The fish had pineapple and other stuff I can’t remember, but I liked it. We also had some pancake thing with strawberry and banana. It was a little too sweet for me. Overall, cool spot, great outdoor space for people watching. Super friendly servers.
