This started out as a two-star review. For our family, a Sonic dinner means that daddy and mommy are just too wiped from the day to either cook or go out someplace nice. Yeah, check my other reviews for the grown-up burger places my wife and I go to. This is for the kiddos. When I pick up Sonic, the kids get a treat, they think Dad is cool, and there is peace in the house. But when the order was all messed up, the kids are upset, Mom is upset, and Dad looks bad for not inspecting the bags like we’re boarding an international flight. But the manager made it right. We ended up with the correct food properly cooked and hot, the kids happy, Mom happy because the manager refunded our money AND gave us a coupon for another free meal. And this Dad happy because the manager threw in a round of ice cream and I got to take credit for it. Its not always whether or not you get it right every time. Its a burger chain staffed by a lot of kids — so I really don’t expect perfection. When management is polite, the poor kid who messed up our order genuinely sorry, and the ice cream is free, you give the benefit of the doubt. We will be back(but honestly, I am going through those bags a lot more carefully).

This place consistently gets my order wrong. I order a grilled cheese for my son with a side of ranch(he likes to dip the crusts in it) and half the time they dump a whole bunch of ranch IN the sandwich(gross) instead of giving me the ranch as a side like I asked for. Once I got tater tots and they brought me really old, dark, hard ones… they were inedible…

Great cheeseburger today. Was hot and fresh. They got it out really quick. Love the ½ price drinks 2 – 4. Great deal. Service was great today also. This place is close to where I live. So I like the convenience. The chili is also great. My son and husband just luv it on tots and burgers.

I went through drive-thru, started my order off with a raspberry sweet tea easy ice when I was asked by Evan(man taking my order) if I wanted sweet or unsweet tea. I didn’t even get a chance to ask the person I was ordering for what they wanted before Evan repeated my order that I had not finished, didn’t ask if my order was complete, told me my total and that was it. I waited there saying, «hello? Hello?», with no response. I went ahead and pulled around again, ordered the rest of my order and drove up. I received the tea, which was not easy ice. Anyways, he was impatient, short, and has zero customer service skills that he showed me. I left here feeling frustrated and upset thanks to the way Evan handles his customers.

So let me start with this… I ordered a bacon and cheese toaster. Very simple… I waited forever for my order. I didn’t complain. I also ordered French toast sticks I get home no syrup. No big deal syrup in the fridge. I tipped the carhop very well and I proceed to my home which is 10 miles away. I get home to eat my sandwich and it’s no bacon just cheese. Ewwww so at this point I’m pissed. I go back and I ask of a one can come out and speak to me so I don’t have to yell at a mic and no one came out. No one tried to make it right and no one cared that I made another trip to sonic and all the way home. What they should have done was corrected my order and given me my money back and apologized but they tried to take the tip from the poor car hop as if it’s her fault the people who prepare the food didn’t do it right. No coupon, nothing. So after being annoyed I just asked for my money back. I hate that sonic has become an establishment that only wants your money and disregards bad customer service. You won’t get another dime out of me! I see why your reviews are so bad

I love Sonic overall however this particular location needs to get it together! The last three times I’ve come here they’ve had difficulty getting my order correct. They’ve updated there ordering system so I’ve tried to give the benefit of the doubt but at this point it’s just bad service. I was recently at another sonic and as soon as they realized they couldn’t get my order correctly through the intercom a real person came running out to take my order in person! When I let this location know my order was incorrect they still struggled and tried to charge me for the items they didn’t put in my bag that I already ordered and paid for! Get it together please!

My husband loves sonic but we have given this sonic numerous chances and every single time we go there something wrong and or not cooked right how hard is it to get fresh fries that don’t taste like they were cooked a week ago… Drinks are never consistent to much ice not enough ice speciality drinks never taste the same and I usually get chicken that is so over cooked my dog has a hard time eating it from it being so hard and my husband always gets the same cheeseburger at every single restaurant no onions or tomatoes how hard is that well they take it as tomatoes onlys … Seriously and some of the staff is really nice and friendly and there’s been a few times a carhop has made us feel like we inconvenienced her with their mistakes by reordering our correct order that still came out wrong … if it wasn’t the closest sonic I’d never go back to this location

Ordered two drinks the car behind me got their one drink then the car behind that one got their order of mozzarella sticks and when we asked where our drinks were the guy just walked off so we left. So it takes longer to make two drinks then an order of mozzarella sticks two cars behind. GROSS

Terrible food! I pulled in today to intentionally blow my diet and treat myself to a jalapeño cheeseburger and fries. I normally love Sonic burgers & fries. THIS food was terrible. The fries were tough, dark, and I’m certain — at least a day old. Plus the oil they were cooked in must have been rancid. The burger was cold. In fact the cheese next to the patty wasn’t even melted. I was starving and ate about half of the food anyway. Have a feeling I’ll be regretting this decision for daaaays.

Is it possible that this is the worst Sonic in America? Why do I do this to myself? For the thrid time all we ordered were drinks. 15min later, no drinks. Really? Press the button. Its not that hard. Im through giving them my money. Its a shame that this business is in our great community.

It’s hard to pass up half price shakes after 8pm during the summertime, especially on a hot, sticky Texas day, but why are we getting nickeled and dimed for toppings(or something)? Three of us stopped in this past weekend for a shake fix and ordered shake flavors straight off of their expansive 25-flavor shake menu. While each shake was half off, there were additional charges for flavor and some abbreviation that appears to be candy. Two of the shakes included Oreo, but again, they were shake flavor combinations offered on the menu with no indication of additional charges. Now, I realize $ 0.10 for flavor and $ 0.40 for candy(or something) isn’t that much, but the real question is WHY?! The employee delivering our shakes couldn’t even tell us exactly what the charges were for. I like Sonic overall, but I despise these types of business practices.

Not a good experience at this location. While placing the order, the person taking my order was rude, considering the person taking the order was dressed in a navy polo and khakis, I assume she was a manager. I swiped my card and the display said«approved, printing receipt», then the carhop tried to charge me again. She had to check out the scanner to find proof that I had paid. I then took my order home. My wife had ordered a shake, she got half way through it and found a dead fly. She called to complain and the manager very rudely said«what do you want»? She then said«we have not had flies in a while». So apparently they had a fly infestation at some time. We will not be returning any time soon.

I get one thing each time I go, and I ask for it the same way every time. Large unsweet tea with cranberry, easy ice. Simple right? Guess not. Every single time I go I get something different. 3 days ago my cup was filled to the top with ice and what tasted like straight up cranberry juice. Maybe got a total of 10 sips tops until there was nothing but ice left in the cup. Yesterday — tea to juice ratio was better, but there was no ice… none. Today — all tea, no juice, no ice, and lukewarm. Seriously folks, how hard is it to pour an iced tea correctly? I handed the car hop $ 21 bucks and told him I needed $ 18 back. He handed me a $ 10 then looked like he was about to head off. I had to repeat that I wanted $ 18 back, twice. Oh, and every summer when it gets hot their ice cream gets really grainy. I’ve mentioned it to management before, they don’t care. I really hate this sonic.

I swear I have written reviews on every Sonic in Cedar Park. This one is typical. The speakers make me think I am ordering from a space station way above earth with the scratchy/Static voice. The server are nice but can’t add in their head. The food is okay. So I will review their Pretzel Dog. The concept sounds great but the execution is sorely lacking. I imagined the Pretzel roll to be crispy on the outside. It wasn’t. Instead it was an over chewy mess. I ordered it with just mustard. The employees must have heard a Pretzel roll with mustard and a dash of hot dog. When I opened my order, the whole dog was swimming in mustard. I carefully brought to the kitchen to wash some of it off. My sink and hands were a yellow mess. Even tho I was careful, my shirt was spotted with mustard. The whole experience was not pleasant.

It’s a Sonic. You probably know what you are in for. This one has an extra couple of rows of parking spaces with the window-order units, and some tables out front. The food was what it always is at a Sonic, though I do dig the peanut butter fudge milkshakes(I mean, really). There was even a waitress on rollerskates, so that bit of niftyness hasn’t died out yet. Yay!

I go to this sonic because it is close. But more than once I have had my order messed up and both orders were TINY! once I ordered a burger and they brought me out creamcheese fried balls… the only reason I noticed is because it was so light. When I called back and told them hey I ordered a burger and i got something completely different. Instead of saying sorry we will fix it for you the manager walked out to my car to check and make sure it wasn’t what I ordered… Come on bro i think i know the difference between a burger and fried crap. Then he said, enjoy those they are better with the sauce they come with that didnt get put in. WOW unprofessional. I work in the food industry and that guy was an ass. of course I go back because its close and i think well they can’t mess up another SMALL order. This time I ordered 2 things… well my bad… because I only got half my order… and still payed for all of it. I should have looked in the bag but I thought they could do their job. The only reason I will go back is to get the rest of my order!
