I’ve given this place several chances and they’ve ruined both. First time the bread was cold. Second time they forgot one of my burgers. I asked if the bag they handed me had everything in it and was told yes. When I got home I called and spoke with the manager and was put on hold for over 15 minutes. :/I guess I’m team in and out now.

I like Whataburger. This is one of the most consistent chains out there folks. If you’re in a crazy hurry, you need to move onto another chain. Whataburger is going to cook your food to order. Go crazy, add pickles, extra cheese, ketchup and mayonnaise to your burger. They will make your burger exactly how you order it. To be honest, I think they take pride in your challenging order, so they can show you that they hit the nail on the head. I like to order the BBQ Honey Chicken Strip sandwich. You can’t(and shouldn’t) eat this everyday, the meal is approaching 1,000 calories!

Great experience here. We ordered the Monterey melt and a chicken Monterey melt. The Monterey melt was delicious. It’s just a really good burger. It has a double patty. The fire-roasted blend of poblano peppers, onions and red peppers Gives this burger a nice little something something of great flavor. The cheese is melted gooey greatness of American and Monterey Jack cheese, and is topped off with jalapeño ranch that gives this burger the right amount of kick. The chicken Monterey melt is great too. The grilled chicken is seasoned to perfection. It’s covered with the fire-roasted blend of poblano peppers, onions and red peppers. A slice of smooth and mild Monterey hack cheese tops it off. The fries were good, typical fast food fries but we’re done good. Really like the hit ketchup. Just enough spice.

The food at this Whataburger has been consistently good over the last several years. The food can take a little longer to come out, but that’s because they make the fiod to order. I’m happy to wait for hot fresh food. We got the Monterrey melt and the grilled chicken melt this trip. The Monterrey was two patties and two cheeses and grilled peppers and onions topped with jalapeño ranch. It’s an impressive fast food burger. The chicken melt has grilled poblanos and onions with monterrey jack cheese on a grilled chicken breast. Pretty yummy stuff and less calories than the burger. Overall good experience once again.

Chris thought it would be funny to tell me that my card was declined. And as I’m looking for my bag and questioning my bank account, another employee had to tell me it was a joke. Not funny!

Slooooooooooooooow. So dang slow. Go home raise your own cow and make a burger. Still waiting for a burger and fries and it’s over 20 minutes. Very unacceptable.

usually, this place is great, but today it smelled bad and instead of sprite they gave us club soda.

This is a decent location during the day or if you use the drive thru. However, in the evenings and especially on weekends the teenagers swarm and have disgusting behavior and foul language. It’s not cute for young girls to wear close to nothing and to drop f bombs every other word. No one that works there says or does anything about it.

I’m not a huge fan of Whataburger in general. I think their burgers are dry and pretty flavorless, but I am partial to the grilled chicken sandwich and my kids love the chicken strips. A warning for this particular restaurant. DONOT use the drive through during the lunch or dinner rush. I don’t know what it is about this particular one(bad management?) but they have no clue how to efficiently handle high volumes of customers coming through the drive through. I have literally sat in the same spot for 15 straight minutes without moving an inch while the employees inside try and figure out how to cook and assemble the orders. They always seem confused and stressed, which is understandable when you have bad management. What I did discover is that the lobby seems to take precedence over the drive through(which is usually the opposite of most fast food places) so if you do need something during the rush, GOINSIDE.

I gave them one last try last week and I even ordered double green chilies but it just fell flat. I didn’t even finish. The fries were pretty good.

I’ve snagged food here many times and it’s always good. Once, I went through the drive through for just a drink. The truck ahead of me must have ordered the while menu based on the time it took them to order. The drive through worker brought out my drink so I didn’t have to wait. Thanks, Maria!

(Preface: This is a rare review from me regarding Fast Food chain restaurants, and it’s probably based on the euphoric difference in this experience versus the previous experience at another Whataburger in another town that we were visiting. So while the«every day» experience here may not be quite a 5-star result, this particular visit has completely changed my very limited tenure of patronizing Whataburger restaurants in-general, and you should exercise your own judgment when deciding where you eat…) Whataburger and our Family aren’t well-known to each other at this point. We pretty much stray from the sodium-calorie-fat Feasts as much as we can. But Fridays are the indulging day, and alas, yesterday’s visit was our Friday Feast. It was sort of a pre-arranged event, as we were invited to patronize this location as a result of a complaint I filed with the Whataburger Corporate Office. I was assured the previous visit was a gross anomaly, and that they wanted to show me what truly should be the Whataburger experience. Arriving at just about 5:30pm, I met a very tall, skinny, and VERY friendly/welcoming young man named Jacob. I asked Jacob if there was a Manager available, preferably Ms. Joyce Bowe. A different Manager appeared very quickly, I explained the reason for our visit, and he immediately summoned the GM, Ms. Bowe. As soon as I mentioned who and why we were there, it was ON! We gave our order to Jacob, were asked to have a seat while our meal was created, and that(as usual at Whataburger) it would be brought to our table shortly. The meal: Combo 1: Double meat burger, add bacon, onions and pickles on the side, ketchup, mustard, lettuce and tomato. Up-sized fries, medium drink. Combo 2: Triple meat burger, add bacon, straight-up! Up-sized fries, medium drink. Within 5 minutes, Ms. Bowe brought our entire meal to us, and that was when the true euphoria hit(go with it… compared to our last visit at a DIFFERENT Whataburger). Everything was EXACTLY as we requested… all«I“‘s were dotted, all«t“‘s were crossed. Fresh, crisp lettuce, fresh, crisp tomatoes, crispy sour pickles, large, soft fresh buns that were enormous, the pickles/onions in a side-sealed container, and… wait for it… the MONSTROUS bucket of FRESH, HOT, CRISPY fries! Yes! Whataburger DOES have FRESH, HOT, CRISPY fries! And when you get it up-sized, you GETITUP-SIZED! Additional offerings of ketchup(sweet or spicy), verde salsa, picante salsa, mustard, mayo, BBQ sauce… napkins, mints. We were set! Throughout our enjoyment, other Whataburger staff continuously made the rounds checking in on tables, replenishing condiments, cleaning tables, and otherwise taking care of their guests. The reality of it all is this: There are TONS of options to choose from when it comes to fast-food variety… and when you have a miserable experience, it can definitely set the tone on whether or not you return to the particular location, and think twice about even going to a different location. The Staff here… from Corporate right down to Jacob who just plain-out does his job and smiles as much as his mouth-muscles can handle… can certainly influence where the consumer takes their business. Whataburger, Ms. Bowe, Jacob… Thank You for making it right! I have a feeling… you didn’t just do it for our particular visit… so please keep doing what you’re doing! See you again soon!

Ok, I’ve said it before — if you are a late night regular, you are familiar with the Whataburger phenomenon. It goes like this: no matter how many cars are in the line at the Whataburger, you WILL wait 45 minutes for your order. Therefore, when I pulled up to this Whataburger, I decided it would be a great time to catch up on my Unilocal reviews and Facebook notification. 45 minutes should allow me to completely catch up just in time to pick up an order of tasty biscuits & gravy. So you can imagine my surprise when I have completed nary a review and suddenly I am at the window. Not the pay window — no — the PICKUPYOURORDER window. What??? I had to check the sign to make sure I was at the right restaurant! I then checked the clock to ensure that I didn’t get lost in a time warp. Finally, I checked my pulse and slapped myself to be certain I wasn’t dreaming or had died and was experiencing a «Jacob’s Ladder» moment(which would be horribly pathetic if all my unconscious hopes and dreams had been boiled down to getting a fast order of biscuits and gravy). Undoubtedly, of all the Whataburgers in the great state of Texas, this one is the fastest. This Whataburger on Cypress Creek is the Indy 500 of Whataburgers. Never have I received a hot order of B&G in this record-breaking amount of time. Definitely my new«home-base» Whataburger. All Whataburgers should aspire to be THIS Whataburger. That is all.

I normally don’t write reviews on Corporate stores but I felt an urge to do so because I have never had an issue with Whataburger. Always fast, friendly and fresh. They have revamped their menu and have added some new things to it along with some new awesome looking salads. I wanted to try one but I was so in the mood for some chicken and fries — so I went with the #15. Only one star because they can be a little on the high side but other than that — Whataburger is the best and if your new to the Austin area — you need to give them a try.

The two greatest things about this Whataburger is that they’re open 24 hours and they’re a short walk from my house. The food, for being fast food, is good. The portions are more than enough to fill you up. Their«regular» drink size is most other places’ large. I almost always get a #6, three-piece chicken strip meal, although their burgers are really good too. I also love their shakes, and their breakfast menu ain’t bad either. The prices are pretty good for the amount of food you get. Whenever it’s like 3 in the morning and I’m hungry, I always thank some divine entity for this place. Now I’m feeling like getting some food at the W. No joke.
