Surprised by the low ratings. I travel from Diamond Bar to this location when I need my Popeyes fix and they(the staff) have yet to dissapoint. I typically order spicy chicken strips combo. Chicken hot and crispy, fries hot although I’ve received warm fries before but not often. They never forget my sauce, napkins and silverware for Mac n cheese. The female teller is good at repeating my order and making sure I’ve left the drive thru with all my condiments. Maybe they hired new staff but I’m happy with their service and will continue to visit when the need arises!

Horrible food + horrible services. The food are always over cooked and the servers are always bad attitude… The other stores are much better!

This location deserves a zero. Shawna, the cashier, seemed to be the only one actually working and was the only one running around. The person working alongside her, the person putting together the food was incredibly slow. She would put a piece of chicken in, look at the ticket and sigh a little. This continued until an order was half complete. I waited for more then ten minutes for food that was already«cooked»(more on that later) and sitting under the heat lamp. It was a bit busy and the manager was nowhere to be seen. No manager to keep their crew on their toes and to make sure everything ran smoothly. Lastly, the food. I love Popeyes. Their food is miles better then KFC. The chicken is borderline crack cocaine. There is, however, only one thing that will make me never return to this location: undercooked chicken. I had a drumstick that was pink. Can anyone say salmonella?

ive forgotten how ridic popeyes is. they charge $ 2+ for gravy, which isnt even on the menu. gravy, when eaten with fried chicken, is a condiment, not a goddamn side. they serve rice here, so when my hubs ordered fries and i ordered rice, the short latina server with the crazy eyes exasperatedly tried to clarify. okay, lady, i know its not your fault its confusing, but im asian and i need my rice — and you dont need to give me attitude. they gave our food as take out, after we said dine in.(& i remember because my hubs asked me right before he paid) they gave our food in boxes in a bag with no utensils. really, popeyes? i told another server about that, and that i need utensils. she appeared to ignore what i said only to ask, «how many?» and grabbed a 2 small paper trays after i responded. so i had to ask her again for spoon and fork and she only handed me 2 individually wrapped sporks. SPORKS! they dont really serve a purpose when youre pulling meat off bones. she also told me the gravy costs as much as a side. ugh. so we’ve already spent $ 20… thats almost as much as a nice meal at Chili’s. seriously, i was already so hungry being it was 1pm and i still havent eaten. so they were really making me extra grumpy. i just want to EAT! the chicken was good enough, the cajun rice tasted like rice with a pungent beef. the gravy was different, it tasted like jambalaya soup. my hubs liked it, i didnt. my mother in law asked to buy some food so we ordered some popcorn shrimp to go and when it was ready the first server just slammed it on the counter, «here you go». the box was upside down inside the bag she slammed. RUDE. oh and did i say the popeyes is by the shell? the restaurant is INSIDETHESHELLCONVENIENCESTORE. everyone buying gas gets to see you, yay. idk if its been good for Shell, im sure most people who are hungry opt to eat at Popeyes as theyre pumping gas. maybe. all in all food was a 3ish,(considering its fastfood), but the service is a 1. might rethink coming back here next time. parking is shared with people buying at the shell convenience store lol

I asked if they could clean the table and said yes but didn’t do it even though there were a couple of customers. I guess employees were really tired to do their job!

This location is small, hard to find, and share a space with Shell gas station. People here gives small portion and charge you for sauce. I came in and order 3 orders of the spicy garlic shrimps. Food is not hot and they are stingy with fries. I mentioned to the cashier I wanted sweet heat sauce twice but in the end she give me dill tar tar. I said I want sweet heat and she said that is not the sauce that comes with the shrimp. Then I told her I have always able to get any sauce with my order at other locations. Why can’t you give me what I ask? She change the sauce for me, but was not thrilled. I got 1 sauce per order. I ask if I could have extra sauce she said I need to pay because they can only give out one for each order. I never had this issue at any other Popeyes Chicken location so I paid for the extra sauce and walk out. I don’t plan to return again. Poor customer service.

They do not deserve any star at all … When you come here bring luck with you because you gonna need it 35 mins wait for my chicken(drive thru) .When I ordered they told me 12 for spicy and 15 min for mild and yes I said I will wait … 20min pass I walk out of my car get inside the store hoping that my order will be ready but Nooooo !!! Standing there for 10 min watching people ordering after me already got they food and I was the last one who standing there. so I was mad and I told them I had been waiting for 35 min and it’s not acceptable, they said because the others ordered before me then when I was trying to say something they all said ‘Have a good day«to me 5 of them in the same time repeatedly(imagine how annoying it was) and won’t let me say a word, only one lady apologize and the less are so rude .so Good bye to you all I love your chicken but definitely won’t come back here anymore !!

If i could give 0 stars i would give the employees a 0! They told us the wait would be 6⁄7 mins, so my family said sure we’ll wait. Next thing we know it’s 20minutes later, and the employees tell us that they can only give us wings because it will take 15 minutes for the chicken to be ready… WHAT? Then, they forgot to cook my fries and then we waited even longer. Also! They charged my for ranch and after we talked to the manager he explained to us that the cashier was wrong and shouldn’t have charged us! NEVER coming here again!

long wait time despite no customers, the chicken is very dry, when compared to other popeyes. I regretted driving 10 miles craving for popeyes and getting bad food and bad services. Skip this location and go to another popeyes instead.

Review for service only. Chicken is fantastic. It’s chicken Tuesday. In the drive-thru I asked for 3 orders of mild and 2 of spicy. Also, a large mac and cheese, regular jambalaya and regular coleslaw, plus 6 pieces of biscuits. Got home and found that all chicken are mild, jambalaya was just 1⁄3 full(pathetic because the regular containers were already so tiny!) and coleslaw was half full. Weird because mac and cheese was filled to the rim. What’s the explanation for this? Lastly, we didn’t get the butter and honey packets that always comes with the biscuits :-( I hope this store gets a surprise visit from the Undercover Boss.

Worst service ever… and my standard for fast food isn’t unreasonable. Hire new people or I, as well as my entire office won’t be eating here.

Guess who had Popeyes for lunch today! I normally do not come here because I never crave Popeyes but the co-workers wanted to go. My oh my, busy during lunch time but they are fast to fulfill your order since they cook a gang of chicken at once. Tuesdays they have a deal on a leg and thigh combo which is about $ 1.40. I ordered 2 combos(2 legs &2 thighs), coleslaw, and small sweet tea which totals to about $ 7. I always loved to drink either sweet tea or coke when eating fried chicken, it is such an amazing combo~! The thighs are huge and the coleslaw is on point for me. But after my fourth piece, the chicken just felt too oily and salty for me. P. S. It’s connected to the shell gas station, just get a large soda at shell for 99 cents if you don’t want their sweet tea~

So after enjoying a nice evening at the park with my mom and my pup zeus, she was in the mood for some Popeyes. We made our way over to the Popeyes. If you’ve never been here, this Popeyes is inside of a gas station.(Weird right) we walked inside and over to the counter and were greeted by a young man, who was very nice and chipper. We ordered an 8 piece spicy along with their new Cajun shrimp meal. We waited for a bit and the young employee called us over as our order was ready. He showed us everything, which was cool because I hate getting home and realize that things are missing. Once home we began to dig in along with my pops. Popeyes chicken is pretty consistent in terms of flavor and crunch. My mom did bite into a wing that seemed to be «older,» maybe it was from earlier in the day. The biscuits are Always my favorite. The shrimp had a nice taste, nothing to great but ok. The employees were nice the food was good besides that one piece and the location is in a weird gas station. 4⁄5

It has been years since I set foot in this Popeyes. But with a wife that believes everything she sees on the internet. I have not been eating too much chicken lately. I convinced her recently that we should get some chicken from Popeyes. This Popeyes has changed for the better as they had remodeled. I ordered 2 orders of their leg, wing and thigh specials, and a fried fish. It took them awhile to assemble the order. They used to be faster. 10 minutes later, I picked up my chicken and went home. The chicken had been sitting under the heat lamps too long. It was not good and crunchy. I did not enjoy their chicken. For some reason, I cannot handle their spicy chicken as it gives me heartburn. Not a good experience. I used to like this Popeyes. Perhaps it is because I went there on a Sunday rather than Tuesday. Maybe I think it tastes better because it is cheaper on Tuesdays. But at full price, it is not good.

I came here with my dad. We were discussing which deal was better. We had a coupon online but they also had some deals at the store. I think the employees overheard this because they gave us a lot of extra food. Maybe this or because it was the end of the day. Whatever the reason, it was a delightful surprise to have extra chicken and biscuits. Thanks Popeyes! They had a coupon online that we didn’t print but showed on my phone. They accepted it but they told us to print it next time. My only complaint is that the biscuits were dry. Other than that, it was a very positive experience.
