Our waitress was disrespectful and rude AF! She was coming on to my significant other while in the restaurant. I definitely won’t be coming back. To the horny waitress who served us, here’s a tip from a former waitress… you are there to WORK, not hit on my man or any woman’s man. This isn’t a bar, you MAC wearing reject, no neck having, troglodyte, who probably has a handful of kids by multiple different men.

So we arrived and were not greeted by anyone we weren’t even shown to our table. We sat dwn and our server brought us our drinks I had ordered a coffee and as im preparing my coffee I noticed I wasn’t given utensils so I had to wait for our server to return to finish preparing my coffee. A little later into our meal we notice our server telling a table adjacent to us on the other side of the room that he’s leaving for the night but we were nvr informed so towards the end of our meal im waiting for a server to ask us if we need anything or any refills instead our replacement server shows up doesn’t introduce himself and offers us our check. Not my best experience ha a Denny’s so far

I do a lot of travel state to state and always pick Dennys for breakfast. Must say this is the 2nd worst one. 1st being Memphis. Food was over cooked bathroom dirty and the waiter was quick to get rid of you, just placing the bill on the table never asking if you wanted anything else.

Let me start by first stating: be prepared for the a long wait on Sunday mornings. The wait time is usually between 15 to 45 minutes during that time. The staff is pretty friendly but due to the high amount of customers they don’t attend you as much as they should. The food is okay… nothing special or memorable about it. I wish they were as quick to get you a table as they are checking you out.

My wife and I went here for dinner tonight. I will not go back. We both ordered the Alaska Salmon. $ 10.99 for it not worth $ 5.99 the portion did not look anything like the photo of it on the menu. The red potato’s I had were awful,(very salty) the tartar sauce, that came with the Salmon was horrible(tasted worse than Miracle Whip) The toasted garlic bread was cold, and dry. I made a complaint to the cashier, she asked if I was a Veteran gave me a promo discount of $ 5.99 and thanked me for my service. Should have just gone to Jack-in-the-Box and got a Jumbo Jack would have been better and less than $ 31.00

We came in pass midnight. My family and I went in for my dad’s birthday. Seated rather quickly. The waiter served us drinks before he left. Apparently they serve pop but can’t provide soda water? Waiter was a man with, «the» eye, polite and passed his shift to a nice, with a little attitude, woman Jessica. The turnover took 7 min until we were served. We got a half plate of the cheese and meat nachos and the chicken quesadilla for appetizer. Which took 15 min! Waitress assumed that this was for a single individual instead of the entirety and didn’t suggest any plates. No napkins either. Our main dish took 5 min after that. I had asked for a double cheese with the condiments on the side to check for quality. Not fresh. This was with NO,‘pickles.’ The meat was done before hand so you can taste the oldness of the meat. My burger also came with lots of pickles, surprise! Waitress said she didn’t hear the no pickles. They took it back as well as the onions I didn’t ask to be taken out. Didn’t remake the sandwich just slapped it on another bun. We also ordered the avocado salad, with steak. Steak was burnt on one side and was turned over to hide it. Sausage on the American slam was half cooked. If you make it right this wouldn’t have to happen. Is the cook tired? Are you guys understaffed? We would have tipped more but this is the last time we will come back to this restaurant.

«Breakfast is Consistently Good« I go to this Denny’s restuarant at 424 West Mile of Cars Blvd. in National City Ca., every few months to have breakfast while my car is being worked on at the dealership. Every time I go this Denny’s the Breakfast is also fresh, cooked perfectly, and is very tasty. They just remodeled this Denny’s about a year ago, and it is very nice and modern inside. Every time I go for breakfast, the Hostess who seats me, and the Servers are so nice, professional, and very good at what they do. Jesus my server on this visit was Awesome as he did everything he could to please me. The entire restaurant including the restrooms are very clean. And try their Pecan Pancakes, they are Yummy !

Very disappointed with my experience at this location. I ordered a veggie omelette that somehow managed to come with bacon bits and a million and one potatoes. My friend had asked for hashbrowns INSTEAD of fries, but our waitress lupita had messed up the order. When we calmly confronted her about it, she turned to us defensively and said it comes with either one, not both. We never really saw her again for she was far too busy being negligent and continually passing our table although we clearly needed refills. Also i came to find out i had been sitting on a dirty spoon left from previous customers. It was wedged in between my cushion. Finally we get our receipt and my friend was charged for lupitas mistake as well as myself. I had asked for sourdough bread that comes with my plate, and she had given me the wrong bread and charged me for a side of toast. No. Im sorry. But awful service.

Man. oh man. how I wish that I could give this place a higher rating… Hmm. So Close… As you all know, my father is a fan of American eatery franchises. So I was so excited when I saw that this Denny’s in particular had a very high rating compared to other Denny’s in San Diego. I had high expectations.(I know right?) My father and I went during the ending of breakfast time(10 am-ish) So, no it wasn’t busy. Lets start with service. Our waiter was very attentive in the beginning took our orders and gave our drinks. However, after order was placed and food was in order he was no where to be found for the remaining time we were there. No refills, forgot to give our syrup for pancakes, forgot my drinks for my value menu order, and no napkins. We had to ask for everything throughout our meal there. After the end, when we left the tip and went to pay our bill. The tip was gone in an instant without the face of our waiter. Wow. I just think I guess it mattered that much to you whether or not you helped us… just saying. Food wise. My father tried the new human torch skillet and I had the French toast scramble. My father can tell you his food was delicious(but by the looks of his plate he only ate ¼). As for me. Its the normal of what you would expect from Denny’s. Just okay and that you get what you pay for. It looked like everything was just thrown on my plate. And for the price you pay. you can probably find other places to go to. Conclusion: All Denny’s are the same. Don’t be fooled by reviews. Its a «cheap»(affordable) diner and over hyped franchise. You’re here on Unilocal.Try something New.

I’ve been here a couple times this week and by far feel this is a better Denny’s compared to others in San Diego county. Tonight I had the pleasure of having Jessica as our waitress and she was quick on her feet and attentive to our table. The employees here are very friendly and polite. I really enjoy coming here. Thank you for not being like the Denny’s in national city near the mile of cars. They are complete opposite. You all deserve to be rewarded for your good service. Thank you Jessica for being a great server.

This Denny’s was busy but hey it was Sunday morning wait time was 10 to be seated that was not bad at all. Service was quick and efficient. Food was ok; however, dessert was the best. Had the cookies and cream Sundae. It was pretty busy in the restaurant just felt that the AC could of been a little higher. But overall service was good

IF I COULDGIVETHISPLACE10STARS I WOULD. NOTICETHECAPLOCKS? THATISJUSTHOWAMAZINGTHISPLACEIS… Now I will move on to my review. Now I have not been to a Denny’s since I was in highschool… it was always known for being«cheap, quick, convenient, and just okay food». However I decided to stop by on a Friday evening to grab some dinner and I still had the mindset of «oh it is just Denny’s whatever. nothing special». My go to places for a Friday night usually tend to be something in the Downtown Gaslamp area where the bill can get rather. Let me just tell you, my thoughts about Denny’s did a complete 180 after my experience. To sum up in points why I will be back to this amazing establishment are due to the: –MENU; what other place do you know that is going to offer food for every single type of diet/person/eater/craving? They offer every single type of dish and I love how they have new promotions for new items each month. –PRICE: you are going to pay on average anywhere from $ 2 – 12 for amazing dishes that other places would range from $ 10 – 20. They even have that«2−4−6−8MENU» which is so cheap! –THEFOOD: The quality of the food from the fries, to the burgers, to the breakfast options and even dessert choices were all so delicious. I must say the presentation of it as well totally stepped its game up. I feel as though Denny’s marketing team is trying to get them out of that 1960’s diner vibe and more into a contemporary upper-class dining experience. I have gotten multiple things from the menu and an amazing new addition they have added is the«Pasta shells with white cheddar sauce» so delicious and a great add-on to your meals! –NUTRITION: They post the calories for every single item, have low calorie/healthier options –The Service: The servers are all so sweet and genuine and you can tell have been there for years. –QUICK: I have since gone back to denny’s three times and have even joined their email club to get discounts and I have always gotten my meals in less than 15 minutes on a busy Friday night. –BONUSPOINTS: They are open 24 hours for anyone who gets the midnight munchies…

Denny’s on E street, Chula Vista. is on a big parking lot, with a circular shape structure. You are greeted as soon as you walk in and seated right away. Drinks were taken and served quickly. The atmosphere was great and relaxing, I guess it may have something to do with the place being so big, you don’t feel crowded and hurried up to finish your food. 4 stars

Javier was so nice! He got us what we needed and made sure everything was fine. Nothing special but nothing bad. Gotta beat the 10am crowd cuz it was really crowded as we were about to leave. Gotta try the strawberry pancake puppies

Took my daughter out for breakfast to this Denny’s location. The limited time only banana french toast with pecans was pretty good. Unfortunately my scrambled eggs were over cooked and dry. The hash browns were just o.k. The first cup of coffee was old. Overall not that good. Service was decent and our waitress was attentive. Would I go eat here again, no!

Round 1… Not a great start. Arrived at Denny’s on E street and wasn’t greeted at the door. As my sister and nieces waited at the entrance, we observed four employees talking amongst each other and didn’t acknowledge us until they ended the conversation. The employee that finally greeted us(which I presume was new) began our interaction with«follow me…». The employee standing next to him must of observed this awkward greeting, because she quickly corrected him with«you need to greet our guests with, Welcome to Denny’s». The employee stumbled for the words(which never came out) and nervously smiled and walked us to our table. He walked away an we were greeted by the drink server who spoke to us in Spanish. After realizing I had no idea what she said, my sister translated for me. The server responded to the translation with«oh, wrong language». She quickly recovered(never apologizing) by taking our drink orders and letting us know our server would be with us shortly. We waited fifteen minutes for server to finally take our order. Round 2… Our server arrived and politely introduced herself. By this time, I was no longer in the mood to dine here. However, I ordered half nachos and a soda. In fairness, the restaurant was moderately busy(10:15 pm) but fifteen minutes was still a long time considering there were four employees standing around talking in the front of the store. We witnessed another set of customers(mother and daughter) enter the restaurant. This family stood at the entrance for five minutes before anyone acknowledged them or offered to seat them. I think a «hello», or «we will be with you shortly» would have been nice. Nope! Nada!(Oops, wrong language) Nothing… they let them stand there. When the food arrived, it arrived fairly quickly and hot(positive). Restaurant was well maintained and clean(positive) but I just wasn’t in the mood anymore to enjoy my dinner. Let me be clear, this was my favorite Denny’s to visit(no more) and I have written positive feedback on previous visits. I don’t know what happened tonight. I left disappointed and will probably not return to this establishment again. My final note… If you like Denny’s, spend the extra gas to visit the 24th street, East E street(805 exit), or Sweetwater(805 exit). You’ll be happy you did!

The service I am never happy about… I do like refills on my drink for number one… A check back on my food might be helpful to see how I like it … I might want to get dessert so don’t just drop my check off. 2 times it happen… Chicken fried steak was good…

The zesty nachos are pretty good and you can never go wrong with a grand slam. This particular location could use an extra couple of employees. It’s never packed here, at least when I am here. I have also ordered for take out at this location and received good service. A few times i’ve been here, the waitress took a while to come back around. Other than that, the food is fine and it doesn’t take very long to get to you either. The wifi kind of lags, but hey what do you expect? it is complimentary.
