My husband and I go to Findlay nearly every weekend to do the majority of our grocery shopping, and Mike’s Meats is a must-stop. We’ve found that their deli meats and cheeses are extremely reasonably priced — sometimes even cheaper than the supermarket. Not to mention they’re delicious. I recommend the garlic cheddar and the honey turkey.

I love their deli selections, most of them are regional selections, and by far my favorite cheeses at Findlay. Their roasted garlic cheddar and havarti are our favorites. Prices are competitive with super markets, I hated reviewing it, because I feel like I’m giving away my little secret. But come check it out, for sure!

Everytime we come here, we get the Veggie Hoagie Patties. They are excellent! For a meat section, they have a good selection for vegetarians. For instance, raviolis, waffle fries and more… I would highly recommend stopping by this place and check it out at findlay market.

Mike’s meats has alot of premade foods and that’s a nice break at Findlay Market sometimes. Of course he has everything on offer you’d expect at a market hosue store in Findlay Market. However, not everyone has the time to make everything from scratch, so when you’re able to pick a few things up that are able to be prepared quickly, it’s really nice for them to carry the quality that’s usually lacking in TV dinners and the like. The italian dishes like the ravioli are great, as well as the ham salad. He also has what were the first chicken nuggets offered at Findlay Market. Talk about being ahead of the curve!

Mike’s Meats is a market house shop in Findlay Market among many other meat shops. Walking by during my usual trip to the market on Saturday mornings, their ravioli caught my eye. They had a whole display of fresh ravioli, stuffed shells, and manicotti. The manicotti was sold out so it must be good. I decided on the asiago and garlic ravioli and the crab ravioli. Yum. They recommended that it be kept in the freezer until it needs to be cooked and then boil it for five minutes! This shop also sells various cuts of beef, chicken, and pork which all look pretty good. They also sell these weird chicken rings and many different flavors of chicken fingers and strips. All were breaded. Honestly, I’m kinda scared of the chicken rings.
