Well I can see why they get such glowing reviews. The owner is literally the best host ever. The food is delicious. They are dedicated to customer service and creating a delightful experience you will want to repeat and share with everyone you know. Wow.

The reviews are accurate. All the rave this little restaurant gets doesn’t do it justice unless you experience it for yourself. My significant other and myself went on Friday night, we didn’t have any reservations as you couldn’t do it on Unilocal, and they apologized kindly and said to instead call next time, they also offered us 2 glasses of wine while we waited under a Tree that Beto so kindly suggested a poem be recited to me ;). Off to the dishes, they were spectacular from the fresh/toasty bread the give you, to freshly made entrees and mouth watering homemade Tiramisu. Delicious! quite the treat if you’re ever in the area. Don’t forget to call them to RSVP for one-of– a kind treatment, service and experience.

Honestly I can’t say anything that hasn’t been said before. The food is fabulous! If you don’t find something you like they’ll make it for you. The owner, Beto and his staff treat everyone like a KING! You really can’t go wrong.

The day I came here I was starting a very bad cold. The waiter recommended i tried the soup of the day which, quite honestly, i dont remember the name of it, but it was a chicken broth with eggs and spinach in it. I have to say that it was the best soup I’ve ever had while being sick! It livened me up instantly. It was very hot and fresh. Felt like my mom had just made it. Im obsessed with their bread and tomato they serve on the house. Even though its not good for the figure… its soo worth it if you’re going to have a cheat meal. The fresh pasta was to die for. Best pasta Ive had in miami. I cant wait to go back!

We had the Pollo Parmigiana, Papardelle y Porcini, and Tri Colore Ensalata and it was all excellent. Topped off with a bottle of Primitivo and Tiramisu, could not have asked for more. Will definitely be back for the great food and excellent service.

This is the first italian place that I crave. I work a block away and if I see guest sitting outside I tell them they have to order the Gnocchi or the Cannelloni. Their food is absolutely delicious and the staff is 5 star. Make sure you arrive hungry.

Me. pareció un lugar caro para la calidad de los platos. El servicio es excelente. Buenos vinos. Calidad vs precio no me pareció razonable. Hay mejores lugares por el. mismo precio. El salón es chico y poco acogedor.

Simply Delicious! I must say, not only is the owner quite the host, but the food is off the charts! Ordered a chicken dish-pollo fratellino. Being gluten free, the waiter listened and took all my health issues into consideration of preparing my meal-what can I say-my plate was squeaky clean(speaks for itself). The 5 star reputation precedes Fratallino!

Best hidden secret in the gables. From the moment you arrive and are greeted by the owner you will feel like you have been here 100 times. The service, food, and atmosphere are unmatched by any other spot in the area. Highly recommend the risotto alla prscatora. Trust me you won’t be disappointed. Make reservations as the place gets full pretty much every day. Came back with my mom and she was blown away. Place never disappoints. Beto is a class act. Had my mom laughing within seconds. Can’t find places like this.

I have seeing lots of great reviews so I wanted to pass by for quite some time. Today my wife and I were close by and it was the perfect day and time to discover what Fratellino Ristorante… The place is small, it can accommodate around 20 people inside and maybe another 10 or so outside, the décor is very familiar which is what this place is all about. The services is super friendly and professional, and most important the food was spectacular. My wife had Risotto alla Pescatora which she said to be amazing and I had the Salmone pere cotte al vino which was full of flavour! The wine list is suitable, they have 4 – 5 options from Italy like Sauvignon and Chianti Classico, as well as few others from California(mainly Napa). The Caymus Cabernet 2013 for $ 130 is a great option but this wine is not ready yet, it should be held for another 2 or 3 years before drinking for maximum enjoyment, while the Stags Leap cabernet 2011 is ready, but $ 110 for a vintage that was not good seems a bit overpriced. So my pick, and suggestion to you is Napa Cellars Merlot for $ 49 no one can beat that. This is a good wine(not great or collectable) ready to be drink and full of hints! The place is super clean, restrooms are well maintained and décor is like being at home. Only suggestion will be to have a bigger set of glasses to drink wines like Caymus(when ready). But they do have acceptable wine’s glasses and good decanters. I will be definitely coming back soon with few friends and/or family!!!

This has to be my favorite restaurant! The food here is just pure heaven. Homemade gnocchi that are more like delicious clouds in a creamy white sauce. Clearly house made, you cannot get that from a box! We also enjoyed a Pollo francese, it was rich and tender in a lemon white wine sauce and cooked perfectly. Their calamari was so enjoyable! It was flaky and had a tasty sauce drizzled on top! Yum! I highly recommend any of those dishes! Dessert, was also a treat! We ordered the chocolate mousse cake… it was rich and fluffy! BUT!!! What makes this place absolutely spectacular is your dining experience with Beto and the staff! They treated us like if we were family. We had the best time with them. Thank you guys so much for making our night fun and delicious ! We can’t wait to come back again with our friends! Besos pibe!!! **tip: make a reservation, especially outside during the cooler months.

Service: A+ We were greeted by Beto and given 2 glasses of complimentary wine as we waited for them to set up our table. We had a reservation. Parking: B– Get lucky with street parking or pay to park in the lot behind the restaurant $ 1/hr for the first 4 hrs. Food: B+/A– — bread(bruschetta): Homemade crispy, soft and warm. Definitely one of the best restaurant breads ever served! — calamari appetizer: Crispy, fresh, and extremely flavorful. Hands down one of the best calamari apps I’ve had. — Agnolotti di pera: 6 well made raviolis, but they didn’t quite hit the spot for me. Plenty of sauce. Try if you’re in the mood for a sweet pasta. — Risotto alla Pescatora: snagged a few bites from my boo’s plate and it was yummy A pleasant dining experience and the owner/staff made us feel very welcome. That makes up for the cruddy parking and the person who rudely answered the phone when I called for a reservation. The restaurant itself is pretty small(a narrow rectangle), so I would definitely recommend making a reservation.

It’s True. It’s True. The food is fabulous. And we were only here for lunch. Can’t wait to come bk for dinner. My octopus was off the charts good. The perfect amount of char. Not spicy but very flavorful. I love this place. I wish I knew how to add a photo. My shiitake pappardelle was the best I ever had. I live in sunny isles and this is worth the ride

I mean… What can I say about this place that hasn’t already been said. I came here for the first time last year to celebrate my bday. The service, atmosphere and food was impeccable. When a friend moved to the area and was in search of a nice Italian meal this was the place I recommended and today I decided to go back and bring my parents with me. It all started when I began to crave the seafood risotto. I looked fratellino up on Unilocal and made a reservation right from the app, shortly after Beto, the owner, called me to let me know that I could come over earlier as I had made the request on the app for an earlier reservation if possible. I showed up about an hour early and Beto came right over to greet us and say hello. What I love most is the family feel. When you come here you’re dining amongst friends. The table wasn’t ready and so Beto graciously asked us to give him a half hour. Upon our return he treated us to champagne and kept stopping by to chat and ensure everything was going well. We ordered a few dishes and dined tapas style, my favorite way to eat. We had the burratina, a ton of the delicious bread with tomato, risotto a la pescatora, pollo fratellino, the apple tart for dessert(which oh my godddddd was ridiculous) and a nice cortadito. What can I tell you. This was a heck of a meal and what’s best is their amazing service and attention to detail. Beto took photos with us and everything. Honestly I love it here. Strongly recommend it and will surely be back soon! My dad, who worked in the restaurant service Even commented on the cleanliness of the restaurant and the great home like service. Very thoughtful place. Ps. The food was so good I forgot to document half of it. It’s ok. An excuse to go back and snap some photos :)

A dining experience is made of several components– food, presentation, service and ambiance. This place has it all– great service led by Betto the second generation owner– works hard to make sure that all elements are perfectly delivered– perfectly. Classic Italian food– served on Miracle Mile in Coral Gables with outdoor seating and its very cigar friendly. They even have Casa Fuentes cigar ashtrays. Will we be back? Probably tomorrow.

I definitely recommend making reservations! I went with a friend yesterday and we didn’t have reservations so we had to sit outside. This was my first time and I am giving it a thumbs up! The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. For starters they offered us warm bread with freshly diced tomatoes with a delicious seasoning of delicious condiments. My main plate was Cannelloni Della Nonna. It is smothered in cheese and stuffed with ricotta. This was such an amazing and fulfilling dish I couldn’t finish it all. I cannot wine to come back and try their wine.

You’ve read the extensive amount of reviews, and mine is no different. Beto is probably the most welcoming and considerate host I have ever come across. He genuinely loves his restaurant and loves to serve people fantastic food. He doesn’t want to turn anyone away due to a wait, so he will lure you in with a glass of wine while you wait. Right off the bat before I even made it up the restaurant, I had a good experience. I called to make a reservation and was immediately accommodated to come at a time that was convenient for me, and the host(Beto) even told me if I came and had to wait a few minutes he would treat my guest and I to a glass of a wine. Arriving a few minutes early before the reservation and waiting outside with my drink, if gave me the opportunity to watch Beto interact with his guests. You can tell he is totally in his element as he walks around greeting the guests and immediately being engulfed in numerous hugs. He is loved by his customers, and vice versa. Once we were seated, we decided to make it a light bite since we had drinks and appetizers earlier in the night. We shared the pasta bolognese. No words for how good this dish was. It was very flavorful and tasted like I was seated somewhere in Italy. They were even kind enough to previously split the dish for us and serve it in two bowls. The portion was just right. As we paid the check and we’re already standing up to leave, Beto ushered us back to the table and told us he was bringing dessert. He brought us a tiramisu, that we we’re unfortunately too full to finish. Again, the dish was impeccable and cleansed the palate perfectly after the pasta. I plan to be back in the very near future, and a face that Beto sees on a regular basis. I can’t wait to try a new dish, although I could eat that bolognese every day.

There are few places today where you walk into a restaurant a stranger and walk out like family. At Fratellino this is exactly what happens. This was my second visit here and I love it even more than my first. From the moment you step in, Beto, the owner is there to personally greet all his customers. Most of them you’ll soon notice he knows by name because they are regulars. He is a gregarious man and his staff follows suit. Family pictures of his childhood and his children grace the walls, and make you feel like you are dining in his home. The food is all homemade and you can taste the freshness in every bite. The burrata is creamy and fresh, and the bread, which in most places is just an after thought, is amazingly delicious here. My husband had the gnocchi and it was like eating little fluffy pillows– airy yet rich with cheesy flavor. I had the cannelloni di Nona which is his grandmother’s recipe and it tasted as if Nona herself was back there making it herself. The spinach and ricotta filling was silky smooth and the perfect balance to the richness of the Parmesan cheese melted on top and the rich béchamel sauce surrounding it. Both dishes were superb! Make sure you leave room for dessert and try their apple tart. Everything is made in house– the flaky pastry, the decadent caramel sauce and the creamy ice cream. Every bite was a feast for my palate! Next time you’re looking to indulge in those wonderful things called carbs, visit Beto at Fratellino and you will leave there belly happy and being called familia!
