WORSTSERVICEEVER!!! We sat in a booth for 10 minutes before we were waited on while the servers screwed around on their phones less than 50 feet away… boo on you Claim Jumper! Hire people with some work ethic!!!

I’m giving this restaurant a 1 star only because our waitress was a doll. However, i do NOT recommend eating here unless you want to take a chance at salmonella poisoning. My Husband and I went to celebrate Valentines, had a 5:15 reservation then had to ask at 6:00 if our table was ready. Ordered roasted chicken and ribs. Order came with the wrong ribs(burnt) but worse of all the half chicken was raw. Waitress felt bad and took our plates to the manager Gary. He came to our table and said he would remake it. When we mentioned that we were not hungry anymore, he said we could take it home. Why would I want it? We ended up with a $ 8:00 piece of cake for $ 32.00 dinners and was charged full pop for the meal. Gary needs to be further trained in customer service. Two meal, raw chicken on each, one piece of cake. WOW!!!

I really enjoy claim jumper! I’m eating here right now to celebrate my late birthday dinner. I got the meatloaf & mashed potatoes, and even though I had spoiled my appetite having some wonderful appetizers and sipping on a tasty drink the flavor was just so good in the meatloaf AND the mashed potatoes. I know the food was good because my sister Would always bring home leftovers, but the actual experience is definitely worth it. Totally coming here again for multiple occasions!!!

Ordered aside of ribs w/mashed potatoes. The potatoes were to salty, and the ribs taste old and over cooked. I make better food than that at home. Over priced, for no reason.

I happen to like the Happy Hour here. They have extended hours along with a nice set up that includes a fireplace. The Happy Hours prices are good too and also includes cheap($ 2,$ 4,$ 6) appetizers. Oh Ya, you can watch the game too …lol!

I had lunch at the Claim Jumper last week. The food was delicious and the service was acceptable… it’s hard to really judge the service since I was there for a luncheon seminar and the servers had to work around the presentation. I love the décor at the Claim Jumper too.

The first time I came was when they had those amazing happy hour specials. I got a crapload of stuff but the wait was ridiculous. Wasn’t to comfortable eating there either, the vibes were just weird. but good food.

Seriously Guys, give it a try! This is not a typical food chain. Their food is made fresh not frozen like other chains. On a side note I have to admit, The Happy hour drinks are not the best of deals but trust me, most of the food items are legit… Too legit, to legit to quit.(Haha) I recommend the mozzarella sticks, widow maker burger, chicken parm, BBQ chicken sandwich and Bow tie pasta. These are just my favs. Make sure you sign up for the loyalty program, it’s $ 25 but worth every penny. Good eating, enjoy

Poor service at lunch time. Not very nice waitress and the order took long to come out and when it did, one was burnt and the other was wrong. Customer service was bad!

My favorite fried steak… no longer my fav. The wait staff acts like you are doing them a favor. Rude and sour acting people.

Love the beef ribs here! The service was always good. But last time we were here for lunch and it took them a long time to bring out the food. But overall a good experience.

Inadequate service. Meal was not freshly made. Over priced. At least they could read the instructions on the box correctly, to prepare the meal.

I’ve been coming to Claim Jumper for years and I’ve never had a less than stellar experience at which ever one I go to. On this occasion I came to the Corona one as it’s near my work and they were doing their Veteran’s Day promotion early this year(11⁄9 rather than 11⁄11). I was afraid it would be crowded but the wait was 10 minutes for the dining room or no wait in walking up to the bar. I guess I know where I’m going. Sat down and was quickly asked if I wanted anything to drink. Claim Jumper commissions breweries to make beer for them so I’ll get those. Had their honey blonde &IPA. Okay, but not the best I’ve had. The Veteran’s Day menu consisted of ten items so I opted for the Tri-tip with grilled shrimp, mashed potatoes & roasted vegetables. Really delicious. I wish I opted to how my tri tip was cooked(I got medium instead of the preferred medium rare) but it was still super flavorful & melted in your mouth. The veggies & shrimp were spiced and cooked perfectly. The mashed potatoes were creamy & I detected the sour cream to get them there. Service was excellent. The bartender Courtney made sure I got my complimentary bread and wrapped it up to go for me because it wasn’t done baking before I finished me meal. Yes, I without a doubt recommend Claim Jumper. Big portions, excellent service & a nice atmosphere make for a good experience. No restaurant takes better care of veterans. Salute!

This is such a great time of the year!!! First football is back! And second their Happy Hour is also back 6 day’s a week except for Saturday… from 3pm to closing all season! In the last year, they’ve added more options to their happy hour special. More food’s & definitely new unique cocktails. If you enjoy finger food’s & ice cold beer’s surrounded by 6 large screens playing your games, then this is your spot. The bar /seating is larger than usual, & they have this huge amazing patio off the bar with a large fireplace & cozy as* chair’s, that you can take a nap in… so great for large groups to pop in. They are well staffed for the crowd. We never waited for assistance, and we were very lucky to get PATTY, as our waitress! She’s awesome. Made great suggestions and was very friendly!

Claim Jumper’s is fine for what it is, a massive chain selling ludicrous portions to the very people that should not be there eating said portions. Whenever we have guests from Middle America out to SoCal, this is my ace card. From KC to Buffalo, the fly over section of America LOVES Claim Jumper’s and why not? It’s inexpensive, the portions are criminally large and it is no fuss. Besides, everyone should attempt to finish the«Ore Cart» at some point in their youth. Truth be told, it has been a decade since my last dinner at Claimie’s. I made it for Happy Hour when I was in the mood for a little Hot Wing debauchery. At $ 6.00, you can’t beat the price and when you down a $ 4.00 draft brew with the wings, everything seems alright with the world. They even offer a «Widowmaker» Burger(think monster sized beef patty with Smoked bacon, hand-battered onion rings, avocado, a chunk of Cheddar, mayonnaise and relish) for only $ 8.00 and you could feed a family of four with the damn thing. The Happy Hour Sliders and Calamari are both serviceable if not good as well. Sure, you are not going to find Eric Ripert in the kitchen, but that does not mean it should be written off in its entirety.

Just awful in every way. 1. After we were sat the hostess told us she had to move us to another table because of something they had to set up the next day. We never got moved but it was weird. 2. The food was disgusting. My mother ordered a pasta dish and the sauce looked like vomit, and it tasted like it too. 3. I ordered a ribeye, medium rare. When they brought it out the meat was grey and looked like it was microwaved. It had no flavor. It also didn’t even look like a ribeye. When they asked what I wanted instead I ordered a filet mignon. First time they brought it out it was raw, then they put it back on the grill. It was chewy, stringy and dry. At that point i was so hungry I just ate it and we paid the bill. It was a waste of 50 dollars to eat here. Never again.

Our entire clan of five ordered some sort of burger My hubby ordered a bowl of clam chowder, and he only was able to(last spoonful) give me a sample. The soup was deliciously flavored with cream, potatoes and clams. It was thick and creamy, velvety and sinful. Just enough black pepper too. Burgers were juicy. If you are a big burger fan, there is nothing better than a big, fat juicy burger cooked to perfection. Onion rings were good. Just crispy enough but not piping hot. Bbq burger with smoked Gouda did not disappoint — just enough sauce for flavor, it wasn’t saturated so you couldn’t taste the burger. The servings are HUGE. The ambiance is great, a roaring fireplace in the front lobby while we waited was wonderful. It was a bit cold out today so the wait for our table was welcomed.

The bar had a much cooler vibe tonight with bowl games. Then it was a surprise happy hour from 8:30 to close and I was like hell yeah, I’m not leaving. The staff is always courteous and go out of their way to help.

Ate dinner here with the hubby last night because he just wanted a salad and I wanted some soup. Their salad bar is great but definitely skip the Sourdough bread bowl if you order the Potato Cheese Soup. It looks like they just took off the top portion and then dumped a little bit of soup in. It also wasn’t toasted enough. So instead of being slightly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, it was pretty tough all around. The soup itself in a regular bowl or cup is incredibly delicious! I highly recommend it. Regardless of my disappointment in the bread bowl, you can never go wrong with the ribs. As a tip: If you’re looking for a delicious bread bowl, go to BJ’s!
