So… Service was grossly unremarkable. They were out of the Mediterranean olives(really?!?) which is an appetizer on the menu… When they brought out the food they brought 2⁄4 then delay before the others… After we were finished we waited… and waited… Finally went to the bar and asked for the bill… wasn’t even crowded! If you’re looking for a local wine bar… I much prefer d’Vine which is basically across the street…

Quiet cozy wine bar in Cypress. Great wine selection. Salads, flatbread pizzas and sandwiches available. Recently expanded their beer/ale selections as well. One of my favorite places to go. The bacon grilled cheese is delicious and so is the Bueno Suerte salad. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful in getting you the wine or ale you will enjoy.

Held a private baby shower here. They opened on a Saturday(during off hours) and came in early so we could decorate. Great food! We had the hummus(my mom says it’s the best she’s ever had), salads, various flatbreads, and their amazing grilled cheese. The grilled cheese. .. oh my gosh, I’d order this every day. The owner and manager were incredibly accommodating and responsive to our requests and needs during the planning process. Pricing was great for a private setting. They have a private room in the back for smaller groups as well if you need something closed off during business hours. Great wine and beer selection. Everyone had a blast. Many people remarked that they wanted to host their own parties at Cork Café for family events or holiday parties.

This is my favorite bar in the area. They have doing it right for nearly 10 years in Cypress. Lunch and afternoons, it is a great place to relax with friends and neighbors. Lunch is good, too — and they are always changing up their offerings. Weekends get a bit busier and louder — but not in a bad way. Great wine club — been a member for years and never been disappointed with the choices.

Nice quiet place to go on a date. Great wine selection. The owner was behind the bar did a great job on service and even comp us a meal because they took too long. They do have a patio but they cannot bring wine past the door so I would sit there waiting for service. We will be back

Great place to have a glass of wine with some friends! I love the atmosphere and the staff was really friendly! My girlfriend and I had a flatbread pizza and it was wonderful! I will be returning soon and will recommend it to all my friends!

The wine selection is not that great. With so much wine to buy from the myriad of Houston distributors, they could stand to improve the selection. Love the atmosphere and food though!

My hubby and I absolutely love coming here! Cozy wine bar with an awesome wine and beer selection! Love that I dont have to deal with cigar or cigarette smoke like you do at other wine bars just to get to their door. They have expanded their food menu and started doing a chef feature on the weekends. Have never been disappointed with the food or drinks! Try their grilled cheese sandwich! Omg, amazing! So worth it! They even have a private room tucked in the back and would be great for a girls night out!

Always have a pleasant time here. Grilled cheese, flatbreads, and salads are all wonderful. I love when they put new things on the menu to try, or bar bites. The wine menu just got updated with some new yummy wines. The have a decent beer selection too. They always make great recommendations for food and drink and will always do a taste test! The Bar manager is the best around. He is attentive, knowledgeable, and social. I love the coffee and lattes here too. A great date place, book club place, GNO, even private party. I have been coming for years and this place is by far my favorite in Cypress. I am a customer for life.

Hippie Halloween –dress like a hippie! We like coming here for happy hour. The specials are posted on their website, we had $ 2 off glasses of wine. Bartenders are so friendly. I must have first been in on a Wednesday, receiving half off a Malbec flight. Cork Café has my business for the rest of my Cypress years!

I stopped in to check out this cute little wine bar. The bartender was extremely welcoming and friendly. I just wanted to have a glass of wine and check it out for next time. Next visit with a date night with my husband. We shared appetizers and a bottle of wine. We really enjoyed our time. The ambiance is super nice. Relaxing and classy. Can’t wait to return for more date nights!

We’ve been a fan or Cork Café since its opening. They have a great selection of wines, plus other drink and food options for non-drinkers in your group. I have hosted a couple of parties in the private room. I never feel 100% comfortable since some of the staff just stares at you without a smile. Some seem annoyed by us being there.

Love the Buena Suerte Sombrero salad!!! Refreshing & flavorful with the perfect amount of dressing. Great wine selection! If you dine outside, you have to pick up your glass of wine inside which isn’t too big a deal. The inside is cozy & intimate which makes you forget that you’re in a strip center — can be a little chilly so I always bring a light sweater with me.

I absolutely love this little gem in Cypress! They have fantastic food and a variety of drinks that worked perfectly for our event. I can’t wait to go back and highly recommend that everyone stops by to check it out. You will want to go back as much as I do.

Always love coming here for a nice relaxing evening with helpful wait staff. The piazza is unique and the pretzel sand which is my favorite. Wine goes well with every dish. If unsure of a wine the staff are helpful in helping u choose and give u a taiste before selection. Note if going on a Friday night it can get full fast.

So I tried this wine bar the other day and I have to say I’m impressed. It was nicer than the Tasting room in my opinion. The plates were a tad expensive for the portion size but overall its a great place to try. Most of their glasses are blends if you’re into that at all and roughly all around $ 10 and meals range from $ 8 for tapas to $ 24 for a full dinner entrée. I tried the goat cheese which was decent, could have served more goat cheese with the plate. They do have TV screens if your missing any sports, and also the lighting is very dim so bring your glasses if you wear any.

My husband and I stopped by after a so-so visit to another wine bar nearby. Our experience at Cork Café was pleasant and comfortable. The waiters were attentive from the moment we walked in to the time we left. The choices of wine and beer were plentiful and we were pleased with the cheese selection they had to offer. We also had some great bread and balsamic dip that was wonderful! Overall, it was a great experience. We will be going back!

We have been visiting Houston for the past two weeks. We went here on a whim on the first Monday, and it’s only one of two places that made our«must revisit» list. The wine-by-the-glass selection is extensive — if you can’t find something you like, you’re simply not trying. The flights offer a great variety, if you’re looking for something new. Alex was our server both times, and he was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. For those considering based on price, I can’t help you — I thought this was reasonably priced for the selection and service, and we don’t nickle-and-dime. If it’s good, it’s worth it to us. A special shout out to regular patrons Don and Cindy, who really made us feel at home both in Cork’s and in Houston, and Don was kind enough to show us a better road route, which was extremely helpful. It’s a very welcoming place, and if you’re looking for a happy hour spot to call home, or just visiting, I highly recommend Cork Café.(food is good too, but it’s a side-note.)

My Favorite place to have Friday date night with my husband! The staff is super friendly and always remember what I order. The food is very good and fresh. The décor could use some freshening up, but still a great spot for date night.

We moved to cypress this past may. We visited this place Friday evening Jan. 102015. I am new to the wine thing. My husband is a beer guy. We didn’t have wine bars where we moved from so it was a little neat. I would rather go sit with him in a country bar anywhere and drink and dance the night away. We still had a nice time. A small break from the kids always helps.

Pricier than the other wine bars around but D’vine decided to just close up after we waited in the car a half hour and put up–«closed private party sign» up on a monday? Winestyles was closed– typically is on mondays. So Cork Café– very pricey cheese plate with HEB cheeses, service was good– although they were empty– nice ambiance.

This is my favorite wine bar in Cypress! They’ve got a great selection of wines. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The flatbread is amazing and the rest of the food is great too, especially the cheeses! Great wine bar that will always be my go-to in the Cypress area!

The place is OK, but nothing to write home about. The ambiance is a little less than exciting. Nothing wrong, but I’d prefer a more intimate setting. We had a cheese plate and I thought it was a little overpriced for the amount we got. Not complaining about the cheese itself, I just thought it was a tad expensive. Wine selection is decent with flights, bottles and glasses.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. By the third time shouldn’t you have learned? I have been to this place twice. The first time was well over 6 months. It was a terrible experience. Not being the most graceful in the room, I spilled a glass of wine within ten minutes of being there. The bartender was so mad at me! Not only did I get the look of a angry father to a four year old child, my service wasn’t the best afterwards. I get it, I spilled something and that required a clean up on isle eight. My last experience was with a girlfriend who had not been there. I did not want her to have a prejudgment so I held my tongue on how I really felt about this place. The wine was decent but nothing to brag about or even remember the name of. There was a small food selection but they also let you order from a little place next door. That was by far the coolest thing about this place. Other than that, I really have no desire to ever return here. Which is unfortunate because living in the burbs, I love a good little place close to home.

Went on a Saturday night. It was my first visit. The server was friendly, helpful and knowledgable about their wine selection. The atmosphere was very comfortable. The bar was dimly lit, clean and classy. Seams like a good place to simply enjoy a glass of wine on a casual evening out as well as a good stop for date night. Recommend the«Happy German» appetizer.

I walked in feeling odd and out of place. And while the bartender spoke, it just felt weird. He mostly looked shocked to see me. There was also an older gentleman there that engaged two tables of other patrons but seemingly ignored my presence. Whether he knew them and was more familiar, idk but it made me a tad bit uncomfortable the longer I sat there and felt I was being ignored by the staff(including a waitress). The bartender made his way back down and asked if I had any questions, which I did. He politely answered and I ordered a glass of wine, which he immediately poured. You like how I keep saying which, don’t you? lol He walked away giving me the opp to savor my selection. The wines are definitely a bit on the pricey side and not many are served by the glass, cheapest will run you about $ 8. But the spot was nice, as far as décor, and offered free wifi. But in efforts to make this experience less awkward, I decided to engage him in conversation regarding the café, the wine club($ 35/month which includes free events & wine tastings), Friday night $ 2/bar bites(he was naming some great sounding bites btw) and the«now serving» lunch menu which primarily consisted of salads. All of this broke the tension and he asked about my day and how I ended there in the middle of the day. Long story bro… The ending was definitely better than the beginning… and sometimes venturing ITL is just too much on my gas tank!
