Wendy’s

Sadly I have to review this location again, I was rather hasty with my five star review after it opened and that nice smiling man at the window. It has been a few months since they opened and I haven’t seen that nice man again, instead I’m seeing the terribly grumpy employees who take forever to give you your order. This week, I went in the late afternoon to just pick up a burger. When I went to get the food, the woman literally just handed me the bag and closed the window; absolutely no communication. It’s typical Wendy’s food and while I love their lemonade; this isn’t the place for friendly cashiers or a quick trip through the drive thru.

Drive thru was extremely slow. I waited 15 minutes to order. Drive on to an exit further down, not worth the wait.

If I could give negative stars I would!!! This is by far the WORST Wendy’s I have ever been to, let alone the WORST fast food experience I’ve ever had!!!
Starts off with going through the drive-​thru 4÷23÷16 and getting attitude from the person taking my order. Starting with saying «what do you want»…so I started my order and she couldn’t get it right. I was only ordering a combo with a salad and a drink at first and no special instructions. She kept saying «ummmm» and such and having me repeat it. So I said let me start over please, being very understanding she might be new and she says «EXCUSE ME?» In question form VERY RUDELY! Then continued to be rude and expressed its my fault that she can’t get my order right and several times told me to «WAIT», no please or anything. Finally someone else steps in and completes my easy order.
Get to the window and the person taking my order went on break. I talked with the manager and he apologized and said he would talk to her and comp a meal for my family the next day to make up for the order taker and being severely disrespected.
So I come back the next day 4÷24÷16, walk in with 2 workers at the front counter talking with each other, they look at me and walk away to the back, not acknowledging me at all. A minute later the manager walks to the front to take my order. I explain my situation and she says she will go get the book where problems and comps are written down. She comes back and nothing is written down. She asks if I have my receipt. I said that last night the manager (Carlos) had me write my name and number down and would comp my meal today and leave a note and talk to the general manager. Obviously he didn’t and probably threw away my info. She says at that point all she could do is give me a few items from the value menu… SERIOUSLY??? I spent $ 17 the night before and was treated like shit and this is my reward?
I walked out.
Read the other reviews here!!! My advice is to go across the street a block away to McDonald’s or ANYWHERE ELSE!!! I don’t like McDonald’s but it’s better than this shit!

Wish I could give this a negative star! I can’t believe the rude woman taking orders! Is this high school?! There’s a very rude lady taking orders. When I spoke to the manager Carlos he was very apologetic about this lady. I’ve never had such a disrespectful person take my order. Carlos asked us to come back and have a free meal. I will update this tomorrow I really don’t want to go back but my husband believes in second chances.
Well, we went back. No shocker it was another bad experience! Don’t come here if you have small children and don’t want them exposed to verbal abuse! I will NEVER Ever come back here! This place lacks organization and leadership! The employees are rude and the manager lacks follow through.

I have been to a lot of Wendy’s, especially since it is one of my favorite restaurants. However at this particular Wendy’s I always have a horrible experience… Prime example is every time I visit here no matter what day, no matter what week I always run into a line at the drive-​thru. You wait there for 15 to 20 minutes. Then if you’re lucky enough to get to the pay window, they’re quick to take your money, however when you reach the window to pick up your food it is always workers walking around like it’s a Sunday afternoon and they are at home. So I stopped giving this particular Wendy’s my business and I go to the Wendy’s on Highway 27 in Davenport.

15 freaking minutes for «fast food» give me a break. Trying to drive to Lakeland and need some food while my wife is in the hospital. Thanks a lot!

This must be the joke they warned you about, when it comes to fast food restaurants. You need about an hour if you were in the drive up Lanes they are so slow. Absolute ridiculous having to wait this long to get food. And then they don’t have what you ordered so after you pay they tell you to pull up and wait another half hour. I can’t go to this place anymore it’s a joke. Wendy’s corporate management needs to look into this location and get qualified people to run it.

When it first opened, it was great. As months have gone by, longer waits and incorrect orders have become more prevalent. One evening, when I requested «only bacon and cheese» on my sandwich, the drive-​thru order taker even argued with me about what was usually on the sandwich. Needless to say, when I got home, I discovered I was right and both the order taker and my sandwich were wrong. Since that visit, I have not returned. It had potential. Hope they fix it.

Drive thru — 2 grilled chickens sandwiches, large chili & small fries. How hard can that order be? Apparently it was too hard. Got the sandwiches and chili but NO fries. There wasn’t anyone one the line but us!

They gave me the wrong sandwich than what was ordered. The fries were overlooked and old. Very disappointed compared to what I expect at Wendy’s. Drive to the next one!

This Wendy’s gets worse every time I go. Horrible tea, they forget to give you all your food and have attitude. Trust me eat somewhere else.

This is my worst Wendy’s experience. It was so bad that I will not return to this location. Especially since it’s the closest one to my place. It wasn’t the food that was bad. It was the poor inadequate service from the drive thru staff worker handling my order. I won’t go into the details except for the time spent there, 45 minutes on a late Wednesday night with no vehicles in front of me.

It was great when it first opened. Now, the drive through has become ridiculously slow. I just waited in the drive through for 15 minutes only to have my order wrong and my food cold. No apologies from the staff. I live 2 minutes down the street and will never go here again.

It’s 2:12 pm, so not lunch and not dinner. This is actually my 3^rd visit to this location. I have been in the drive thru way too long. If I could give them a zero, I would. How’s the food? It’s Wendy’s so mediocre at best. It shouldn’t take 10 minutes or longer in a fast food drive thru. Period. Ridiculously slow. It isnt like this location is brand new either. They have been open several months now, you would think they would have their act together.
