Love this place! Best local bar in town. You honestly can’t go wrong. Live music, well poured drinks, and friendly bartenders! Fun times always! This is the best place for live music on the ave. Bull bar has some of the same bands but it’s smokey. I much prefer hurricanes because smoking isn’t allowed inside, so no waking up with your hair smelling like the bottom of an old ash tray. If you do smoke, you can do so outside. They also have a little outside tiki bar area too which is cute. This place gets packed whenever there’s a holiday(St. Patricks, halloween etc) so be weary of that. Very laid back fun little spot. They have a great happy hour too!

We stop in all the time after the beach. They have a huge parking lot and it free ! Perfect for hangin out down town with out the crazy down town prices. Strongly recommend you check it out.

As the reigning town drunk, I know my local bars and let me just tell you this is by far my favorite one. Whenever I go I am greeted by the lovely Mandi with smiles and high fives(I tried to get a hand hug out of her once but she said she had a boyfriend and that a hand hug would be bordering being inappropriate). She always offers quick service and a good laugh! I love bringing my annoying Boca friends there because Langdon is just so stunning they can’t keep their eyes off him and I don’t have to worry about listening to them talk about how much they hated their salad at the Boca resort earlier that day. If I could have a threesome with any two people in the world it would be a toss up between Mandi and Landgon and Elijah and his brother Travis who also work at hurricanes and bedazzle me with their good looks. This is the place to go on any day of the week because no matter who is working you will not be leaving with a dry barstool.

Cool little spot with great bands on the weekends– plus they have their own free parking lot because the entrance is in the back– not right on Atlantic. Went on a Saturday night, parked right by the door(no valet, no parking fee), heard some great music and the price for drinks is fair. Some places in Delray get a little full of themselves– pretension runs rampant– but the Hurricane is less touristy and more like a local hangout. Love it!

Philadelphia Eagles’ fans in South Florida have a great place to go on game day to be completely surrounded by Eagles fans cheering on the team. Such a cool place tucked away right off of Atlantic Avenue. You can either watch outdoors with a tiki bar effect or go inside to air conditioned comfort. A cool perk is at half time they serve free pizza and wings! Go Birds!

Horrible service! The drinks were watered down and the staff was incredibly rude. This bar is good for white males in their 50s or older. If you are a minority of any type only go here if you like being served by racist assholes.

Horrible cool bar if they didn’t hire racist bar tenders… I was the only Hispanic at the bar and had less to drink than my white roommate and the bartender named Shelly decided she would exert her limited bartender powers on me and expel me from the bar for no apparent reason! Mind you I’m a local and other locals at the bar agreed! Unless you are white or a super racist I wouldn’t recommend this dump at all! Class it up delray. better dives around with way better service

Laid back dive bar with no pretentions of grandeur. They regularly have some fun little bands, including the kitschy jam bands and some better stuff. It’s designed around being part music destination, part sports bar, part smoking patio with drinks. Don’t expect anything fancy or to be babysat by the bartenders– you’re here to have a drink or two, watch a band, and/or smoke out on the patio with your drink.

I came, I drank, I danced. It was awesome. Cool place, with a couple of different spaces, tucked off the main drag in Delray Beach. They had live music the Sunday night I visited, and I was impressed with the fun energy in the room. Looking forward to returning, soon. Find me on YouTube, I have some bar and restaurant reviews there.

Nice little dive bar. My bf loved it since he is a Eagles fan. I really enjoyed the band that was playing too. The vibe is too young for my taste but we still had a great time.

You have to be a certain kind of person to enjoy this certain kind of place. By certain kind of person I mean d****ebag and by certain kind of place I mean a place that does not care about customer service whatsoever. I’m used to my id being looked at for five minutes and then having the guy pulling out his flashlight and looking at it for 5 more minutes but I have never had anyone belittle me and be a d**k about me looking young. However, as my friend and I sat at the bar(after already having been id’d by the bouncer) the bartender decided she needed to see our ids again. Then someone else was called over so they could together ridicule our ids asking«where is the height on here» which I took as a jab to my being 4’10. I’m sorry that my milky white skin shines with youthful radiance and has not been charred and shriveled by years of fake-baking like everyone else in the place. The sun’s effects made it hard to judge ages but I would say this bar draws an older crowd. Also, if you were excited to learn that this bar has live music then STOP, STOPRIGHTNOW. I didn’t know such horrible cover bands existed. I’ve been there twice and the first time the bands’ members all sounded like they were playing a different song. I’ll admit I will give the second band a little more credit because they didn’t sound that bad considering their lead singer was A HUNDREDYEARSOLD. I did like that they had Captain Morgan Black.

The definition of «great local place» is s***hole. What a dump. It’s hot, stuffy, and smelly full of local trash who wander in off the street. If that’s your scene enjoy but for anyone with some type of class I would stay away.

Aaaah, day drinking. Four of us wandered in here mid-day on a Saturday to find the place virtually empty. It’s a bit dark in here, and because the adjoining outside area was totally empty, we didn’t realize it was open. Anyway, the gal working the bar was friendly, as were the two other patrons who joined. If you’re a Phillies fan, come here. It was obviously a Philly bar. Other than that, this place is a fine place to go off the Ave, with no pretentiousness. Next time we’ll sit outside, barring the Florida humidity of course!

I arrived here last night to meet some friends. The parking lot was packed with people, but I luckily found parking on a side street close by. I walked up to the entrance to find a ton of people dressed like santa. Apparently, it was a santacon bar crawl. The place was packed when I got there. It was about 11pm on a Saturday night. In the front, there are some chairs on the side. I took a seat there, while I waited for my friends to arrive. I sat next to a guy that was in a penguin onesie suit(photo added). He was part of the santacon bar crawl. I started talking with the penguin, and he told me his roommate lost his keys. I am guessing because he had no pockets in that get up. Well, he was waiting for his parents to pick him up. A penguin onesie and your parents picking you up from the bar… interesting. My friends arrived and I headed inside. There was a band playing and the crowd was feeling the vibe. We started at the inside bar and eventually moved our way out to the outside bar. We had a seat and chatted with a few drinks in hand. The band was going to play some song my friend loved. She asked the one of the guys in the band if she could come up and sing. They let her! So she got up there and sang with the band and everyone was dancing. It was fun. Overall, the crowd was awesome and everyone was super friendly. I had a great time here. I’d definitely come back here for a few drinks and listen to live music.
