I came here for dinner with a few friends a couple days ago. It’s open sort of late so this was perfect. Excellent customer service and friendly staff. I ordered the Rib-Eye thinking it would be super flavorful. it was cooked medium rare(to my liking) however when I took a bite of it, it didn’t taste like anything. I guess it was seasoned well enough with salt/pepper. It didn’t really taste like anything. Other than that, the cream of mushroom soup was awesome.

We stopped in for a late lunch on Saturday and were surprised by how busy Pug Ryan’s was. We snagged a table and looked over the draft brew list. They offered ~a dozen of there beers, made on premise. Our group got a variety of tasters before settling on the Scottish ale, Helles and a seasonal Blonde. Several TVs were around the room, and we caught one of our team’s basketball games while we waited for our lunch. The Greek salads, ordered by everyone, took 40 minutes. Seemed a bit excessive for a salad, but maybe they have limited staff on weekend lunchs. Just be warned– food may take a while. The salads were big, with lots of feta, tomatoes, and red peppers. We added chicken($ 4) to the $ 11.99 salad, and friends added salmon($ 6). Both were really nice sized servings of proteins– really tasty. Don’t forget to redeem the Unilocal check-in deal: $ 1 beer with food purchase.

I stopped in here with friends on our way to a ski weekend in Keystone and was not disappointed. 4 words of advice — get the pretzel appetizer! Then get the wings. Then wash it all down with Mortal Sin chocolate brownie. You will not be disappointed. Full disclosure — I may, or may not, have been at the dispensary right before this meal. Which may, or may not, have skewed my opinion and this review.

Pugs used to be one of the best places in county but the last two times I have gone it has been overpriced and not delicious. And this last time the service was terrible too. I guess that will be the last time.

Day 3 of our ski vacation and we were a bit tired of waiting at packed restaurants that didn’t take reservations plus we needed some serious meat and beer. Pugs didn’t disappoint. The ribs were very good(both pork and bison) and we enjoyed sampling the micro brews made on site. It was still crowded, but we got our table right away(even though we were 20 minutes early) and the service was great. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

I went here after a long day of snowboarding and ordered the French onion soup and shepards pie. Both were pretty gross but I was starving, so ate them both with no complaints. On the way home I felt severely ill and was vomiting the remainder of the evening.

I went here after a local recommend the joint. It’s a brewery so they have a great beer option. Also if you check into Unilocal you get a coupon for $ 1 glass of their house made beer. The food was great. I tasted their bbq ribs and I would say that is the best thing to order. The bbq sauce is tangy yet sweet. I ordered their cheese steak sub. I didn’t think it was very good. So I would skip that dish. Their sandwiches come with fresh cut fries. I think their fries are delicious. I would start off with their chicken wings. It come with about 10 wings for like ten bucks. It’s the perfect appetizer dish to share with the whole table.

Smoking pot legal here in Colorado but they can’t show a UFC fight because it’s too bloody like the steak they serve. I’m guessing they change the channel when there’s fight in hockey games too. For the price of the food it should have some taste or flavor. I got a medium rare chimichurri steak it was pretty bland and require salt. I also tried my buddies filet, it was tender but had no flavor. The ribeye was ok it had a little charbroiled taste to it. I don’t drink but my buddies said the only good thing was 1 $ off beers when you check in. The service was good this time. That why they get 3 stars.

Beer was alright(Ordered the Pale Ale). I ordered the Shepard’s Pie which was suggested as one of «best» options on the menu. It was mediocre. Brown gravy definitely overpowers it. It tasted more like poutine than Shepard’s pie. Not impressed at all. Our server was awesome but I won’t be going back anytime soon.

This is a great place! Awesome food, great drinks. They were busy when we went in, but the service was exceptional and everything came to the table in a timely manner. You gotta come to this place if you’re in Dillon.

I can’t believe I’ve been to Pug Ryans multiple times over the years and never wrote a review. I wish I could do ½ stars for a 3.5 stars but I lean lower rather than higher and that’s only because of the atmosphere/décor. It hasn’t changed a bit in the 6+ years I’ve been going there. It really needs some updating. That said — our experience with the food and beverage were right on. The beer was delicious. I had the Peacemaker and thought it was great. We started with their wings with a dry cajun rub. Just enough heat to put your beer to work. They are so good — perfectly crispy and nice and meaty. I will admit that all of our past visits have been for the beer and wings. This time — we had dinner and were not disappointed. Hubby had a burger and said it was cooked perfectly — not over done and very flavorful. I had the fish and chips and was really surprised. I’m a finicky F&C fan. I don’t like a ton of batter surrounding a small piece of fish. Here — you get a healthy piece of white flaky fish with a dark, crispy batter that doesn’t smother the taste of the fish. I loved it. A bit of lemon and it was a perfect flavor. I wish it was really«chips» that came with the meal but the fries were still good.

Favorite brewery in summit, have the best food among the six. Fish and chips are my go to. I’m not a hoppy beer fan at all so I always go for the helles and marzen beers which are perfect. Also their tiki bar in summer has great margaritas.

Sheppard’s pie is «unconventional» but crazy good… Beers are great and the atmosphere is awesome too. Went to the rival microbrewery a couple days ago and didn’t have nearly as good of an experience. Give it a try!!!

I’ve been into Pug Ryans at least a half a dozen times and each time they have had great beer and great food. I’ve had everything from fried mac and cheese served with a corn dog that was awesome(Everyone laughed at me in my party asking me if I was 3 yrs old) to the wings and burgers. They have some serious good brews on tap as well and there is always something new and interesting to try that isn’t the run of the mill stuff you see on tap. It’s definitely a cool locals spot in Silverthone/Dillon and personally i think it’s a much better spot to go to then a more known brewery spot in town. Cheers

I sat outside for lunch on a weekday in the summer. It was not busy, inside or out. It took a while for everything to happen. It was like the whole place was on slo-mo. I sat for almost 10 minutes before the server came out to ask me what I wanted to drink. I had already read the menu and decided what I wanted so I ordered an Uptown burger. It was standard: good, not great. They aren’t using lean ground beef by ay means, as it was pretty greasy. Next time, I’ll come for dinner and update my review.

My wife & I visited Pug’s on one of the hottest days of the year & it was down right miserable inside this restaurant. I know it’s a functioning brewery but Damn! The atmosphere(other than the sweltering heat) was nice and our server was on top of his game. I had the flight of beers & enjoyed them all but settled for a full pint of the«cream» style summer beer. I had the bacon wrapped filet for my meal, although cooked well it was seriously under seasoned. My wife had the«lady’s cut» prime rib and had the same opinion, seasoning! All in all a good visit but for these prices I expect more.

Every brewery we go to, I get a flight of beers. Here, I liked them all! First time ever that I’ve really liked more than 3. Fav was the hellies. It was $ 7 for 5 x 5oz beers. You can only buy 6 packs of a few flavours, and hellies was one, only $ 8.50! So we got a few to take home. FYI the pale ale has a really hoppy after taste. The service was great here too, and it was pretty busy so it was nice that we got checked on and given advice etc.

Perfectly cooked flavorful rib-eye. Good French Onion, real greens in the salad, crisp asparagus and friendly service. It was a busy night but folks were always coming by to check on drinks, fill waters, and remove plates. I’ve had steaks for $ 30 that were a little bigger or came with more sides, but they are cut in house and it went down just fine. Not tough, good flavor, I’d have it again tomorrow.
