Great food. My friend ordered the Big cheese with tomato bisque dipping sauce that was DELICIOUS! The manager actually let me eat my pizza that I bought elsewhere! I was very happy when I realized they gave happy hour with $ 2 beers that are delish!!! Definitely will return when in Durango!

I wasn’t on board when my dad suggested Schlotzsky’s for lunch but I suppose the food was semi-decent… Every time we walk past Schlotzsky’s there is a weird, sickly-sweet smell combined with something unidentifiable that is not pleasant to the olfactory system. This is why I was not eager to eat here. When we walked in I was surprised to find that the place was packed; surprising since the prices are not cheap and the food didn’t smell that good. I ordered a sausage flatbread, my mom had the same, and my dad had a chicken pizza. My mom asked for a cup for water and when she got the tap water it had a funny taste so she didn’t drink anymore. The pizza came out quickly, but the flatbreads took forever. When we finally got them they were drenched in cheese and there was barely any sausage :(At least it tasted decent enough but it definitely wasn’t worth the price. Overall, meh. Not going to visit here again anytime soon when there are so many better options in town.

We waited 30 minutes for our order(3 salads and a kids pizza). When I asked about it after 15 minutes, was told ‘they’re making it now.’ Then 10 minutes later, ‘they are just now pulling some items out of the fridge.’ Order finally showed up and was wrong. They apologized and gave us free Cinnabon rolls(which I can’t eat, being gluten free). Not happy at all.

Delicious food, clean restaurant and great music. These have always been my all time favorite sandwiches. I get the cheese original because I don’t eat meat. Lots of veggies and melted cheese on sourdough is perfect. Don’t forget to add the Louisiana hot sauceTons of drink options too. Wish there were Schlotzsky’s in Tucson.

Fast, friendly service. The Original was exactly as I remembered! Great space, serves beer and wine.

‘Lotz’ is a quick-service restaurant, not«fast food» in the traditional sense. When you place your order at the counter, you are given a number to place on your table. The staff will bring your order to you when it’s ready; you do not return to the counter to pick it up. I arrived on the coat-tails of the lunch rush. I had walked by about 30 minutes earlier, and the place was packed, so I walked around downtown for a bit before returning closer to 1PM. The staff was working hard to «reset» and catch up on food-service chores(cleaning the dining room, emptying trash, refilling napkins, etc.) while still offering good service to a steady pace of new customers coming in the door. They all had a «deer in the headlights» look, clearly striving hard to meet the lunch demand while still working on their teamwork, skills, etc. Good job to all! You may have been struggling to «get-r-dun» but you succeeded.(They have only been open for about week, so as a staff, they are still«figuring it out».) You can view the offerings on the chain’s website, so I won’t go into the entire menu. I kept my order simple: The Original. No special requests. This sandwich is their signature item, so I thought I have to try it to get a real feel of what ‘Lotz’ is all about. I did not order any chips or other sides. They have one of those new touch-screen Coca-Cola fountains, which is supposed to be really cool. However, that general area was PACKED with folks waiting for to-go orders. Luckily, they do have bottled beer, so I got one of those instead.(They may have wine as well, but I didn’t pay close enough attention to be sure). The sandwich: The Original is a good choice. Served warmed or toasted, with mustard. Its good. When compared to other deli-style national chains, it may be great. It certainly is different from the rest. More mufaletta than hoagie, sub, or grinder. It’s also a bit pricy when compared to others.(Medium sandwich with tax is approximately 7 dollars, the beer was an additional 3.50) The space: Modern fixtures with tall ceilings. Clean, comfortable. Relaxing. A great deal of natural light from the huge windows in the front. The smell of baking bread and Cinnabon rolls… yum! Last Call: I’ll be back.

Really great vibe and awesome food! Plus, they have a Cinnabon inside! The owner is very friendly and definitely knows how to promote his business. I’ll most definitely be going again.
