Inexpensive with a good variety. The quality of the boba was OK.

LOL, this was the first Quickly I’ve visited that didn’t have an employee who didn’t have limited English skills. Thank goodness for that because I’m an ABC with rusty Chinese. My brother and I stopped by this location after we were done with a movie and I was in the mood for some french fries. I saw on their menu that they had garlic french fries, and it sounded horrible so I had asked the employee if they had french fries to which he replied yes. I suppose there must have been a misunderstanding because when I received my order a few minutes later, they were drenched in garlic powder and entirely too salty(I have high blood pressure, so…). It was absolutely disgusting, and I ended up tossing the ~$ 2 bag… But the reason why this store deserves 4 stars is because the employee was the friendliest I’ve encountered at a Quickly. He wished us a safe trip home(no lie though because the area was a little ghetto), and he even packed us some spicy sauce with napkins without being asked. The store is run-down and tiny, but if you check out their menu, you’ll notice their amazing prices. Um, hello $ 0.99 boba milk tea? Not the best, but it’ll suffice when in a pinch! ~$ 5 meals with drinks included.

I came here yesterday for a quick pit stop. I ordered the honey dew slush with boba. The boba was a little hard and the tea was sweeter than I would like. Staff seemed like he hated life. Not bad. Just ok.

This Quickly branch is significantly better than the Quickly in Arcadia. Quickly is not a franchise, instead it runs on a trademark license, which lets an owner run the business the way he/she wants. That fact is very evident in the way each Quickly branch differs in service and quality. Though I must admit, each Quickly that I go to has that feeling of cheap, low-quality, subpar boba and not just in the boba, but also with the interior furnishing and design of the place.(e.g. the signage) I like this branch because of the service and professionalism. The quality of the boba is cooked a little better also, and the milk tea is not too sweet either. Once, I ordered a lemon snow and the barista wanted to make sure that I liked my drink so he said that if I didn’t like it then he would adjust it. That’s just awesome though I think he wasn’t sure how to make the lemon snow because he did in fact make it different than usual. Anyway, I hope this place maintains the level of service and quality. If not, then I will have to drive even further to get a good, aptly-priced boba drink. The Arcadia Quickly is about 4 miles closer, but I’ll drive an extra 10 – 15 minutes and sometimes 20 minutes to a place with better service.

Small and convenient tea place, they also have many food options. Very friendly staff, recommend their milk boba tea. Very cheap, fast to go and tasted not too bad. Minimum $ 5 to use credit card.

I am thoroughly impressed with this place. It may be ghetto with broken chairs and no A/C in the summer, but ya know what? This is El Monte. Don’t expect too much. The cheapest on the menu is only $ 0.98. They also have Slush of the Week for $ 0.99. The most expensive drink is about $ 2.50, but the large majority of the drinks are $ 1.99 and they have a good variety. Sweet deal. Most places charge like $ 4 – 5 for drinks. They also have food. Also cheap! Appetizers are $ 2 – 3. If you want a fried mix, that’s $ 3.99. They have combos(entrée + sides + drink) for mostly $ 4.99. Cheapest is $ 3.99 and most expensive is $ 5.99. They don’t skimp you on appetizers and they’re are very fresh and delicious. Word to the wise, their range of spiciness is a little higher than other places, but anyways… Combos are freaking delicious too. Maybe not the vegetable sides, but yeahh… Oh, that reminds me. For sides, it comes with pickled vegetables(I think it’s pickled). It’s mostly cabbage. You also get a peice of fried beancurd and also an egg. You know those brown eggs? Although, these aren’t very brown. For drinks, you can get whatever dollar drinks they have. So like… milk tea, boba milk tea, slush of the week, etc. You can also upgrade to ANY drink on the menu for $ 0.75 which is a deal because if you think about it, that’s like $ 1.75 for ANY drink on the menu. They have combos of the week too, I think, for $ 3.99. Employees are pretty nice. They socialize a lot with each other, but they do their job so I don’t mind. If your order is under uhh… I think $ 5, they charge $ 0.50 for debit/credit. Last, but not least, FREEWIFI. Oh, wait… you can order online through their website and pick up in store! The menu is on the website! Supposedly, they deliver too(delivery hours on the website: tue-wed 11am-9pm), but eh. I have no experience with that. I don’t know why I never ate here. Honestly, I love this place so much.

Lets start with the good… The GOOD: 99 cent boba milk tea Nice but talkative service Cheap food! The BAD: Ghetto and run down Located in a deserted plaza Next to a rundown Edwards theatre The worst sound system ever! The staff have music ADHD(changes the music halfway through every song) Super slow kitchen

Cheap, but food is okay. I usually come on Fridays at random times if I ever crave a slush. I mean… it’s only 99 cents for the drink special of the day and whenever I come they usually have strawberry! And strawberry is my all time favorite so yay me! I’ve gotten some of their food before and popcorn chicken is like…$ 3? and they do give you a lot compared to some places and it’s pretty good. I’ve also have different combo’s for cheaper on certain days. I’ve only tried their popcorn chicken rice plate and their fish filet rice plate. Both were okay, nothing special so yeah. Service: It has always been pretty good whenever I come. It’s never usually that crowded, so we get our drinks/food pretty fast.

Cheap food & drinks. Good place for togo orders only. They don’t use A/C so don’t bother thinking about having a seat and chillin when it’s 100+ degrees outside. And I’m not so sure about the cleanliness when the same person who handles the cash is also making ur drinks o__O did not see him wash his hands in between

Quickly. Quickly in El Monte, Quickly in Hacienda Heights, Quickly in Queens, Quickly in Taipei… It lives up to it’s name… QUICK-ly. You can«quickly» grab a drink and head on out to wherever you wish without paying a butt-load of money. Drinks are pretty decent for only a dollar… yes a dollar! Here in the El Monte branch, they have a special for boba milk teas for a mere 98cents! «WTF!» you say? Yes, it’s true. No joke! For a slushie, you only pay 99cents! «Sunnaovabizznatch» you say? I know, it’s crazy, but it’s utterly TRUE! And what’s even sweeter is that QUICKLY is located just adjacent to the Edwards Theater 8! So, what you can do is just grab a cheap-olé drink and bring it into the theater without spending a fortune on slurpees and sodas. You get slushies and boba milk teas and i’m pretty confident that you’ll NOT complain. Now, you can come here… grab a drink or seven and head into the theater and have an awesome time!

4 Stars?! Yup yup 4 stars Anyways this is the closest quickly near by and it’s actually nice haha. Food: I had the fried chicken and it was good!!! My dad accidentally ate my chicken and he loved it! Haha said he wants to go sometime :] Drinks: pretty good prices for some drinks. They were good drinks haha Seating: there’s about four tables inside place and two outside and a bar to sit at. This place might get busy during the night time and weekends so be prepared to not find seats to sit in.

First observation is, I don’t like when the person handling cash is also the one making your drinks. Did not see him wash his hands first! I like the meals they have on their menu and I was in a particularly normal to good mood so I didn’t wanna argue about a few cents. I was about to tip the guy before I left because I felt like being nice, but I realized he over charged me. And I didn’t feel like arguing about it because teens don’t care if they make mistakes, it’s just a job to them. I come here often so I don’t want my food spat in in the future either for a little argument. But for what I ordered, the guy charged me close to 12.75% tax. Isn’t El Monte’s tax rate only 9.75% right now? Well whatever, he can keep the change.

At around 3:45pm today(Saturday), came to Quickly today to a long line. It mirrored the long line in front of the movie theater next door too, so it makes sense. But there was only 2 people working at the time, and the cashier seemed to be doing most of the work, so service was extremely slow… One customer had that same thought, and asked if they were short-staffed today. The guy kinds brushed it off and said, «No, that’s how it normally is.» I thought the response and tone sounded rude, though he did apologize for the wait when I finally went to order. Needless to say, I might avoid Saturday afternoon drop ins. Ordered their«98¢ milk tea(with boba)», which is actually $ 1.10(not sure how that math comes about: tax and service charge?). But that’s how it is at every Quickly I go to, so whatevers, it’s still an amazing deal considering how most places are charging 4 times as much. They had run out of the regular sized boba, so we got mini boba. Surprisingly, it’s soooo much better when they’re smaller because their normal boba is hard. So I might just request that for now on. There are no restrooms here. If you’re dining in, there’s a counter with a few stools and a few tables inside(though the room layout is horrible), and I think one table outside. Not exactly a great sit-in place, but compared to other Quickly’s, at least there are seating available. Best bet, just take it to go. It can be disappointing when you compare to other boba spots, but the price point can’t be beat. That’s why I’m [still] a fan.

The plaza this place is in is like a graveyard… so sad to see what the economy has done to the businesses here. Still, this Quickly still lives it up with cheap and good boba. I had the pudding milk tea and it was yummy. The pudding was YELLOW which was a big surprise. You can’t tell cause it’s hidden behind the brown milk tea and ice.

Dont know where to start. Started working in El Monte and workers decided to get Quickly back. Being the new guy went to pick up the order. Establishment seemed okay until i noticed they had ANTS crawling everywhere(to the window, to the wall). should of been a warning flag. Food-It was average, you really get what you pay for(3.99 for lunch special + drink(green/black tea or boba). i got porkchop rice(they give you two pieces along with some pickled vegs+egg+cured tofu). others got fried chicken rice, sweet potato fries, and chicken with honey sauce). they were all average to decent at best. The kicker was two others at my office started suffering stomaches along with me an hour after ingesting the food. Spent the last hour suffering at work and taking some herbal ancient chinese medicine that resembles sand. will not come back, ever. brb bathroom is calling

Heard about this place through a friend on Facebook so I decided to give it a try since it’s only five minutes away from where I work. It’s located in the plaza at Santa Anita Ave and Valley Blvd; right next to the El Monte Edwards Theater, on the left, right at the corner. They don’t have a sign up yet so look for the orange grand opening banner. It’s a pretty small place. When you walk in, the only décor you will is one table with two benches against the window(which looks like it seats 4 – 6 people), on the side are several bar stools with a long table and there is a giant menu situated on the wall with plenty of pictures of different food they offer. Pretty plain. Nothing special. I ordered the Korean BBQ Beef Combo, which comes with a drink. The food was okay, I wouldn’t really recommend it or would try it again. The tea egg and fried tofu looked like it has been sitting for a while. The short rib was bland and looked nothing like the picture they had on the wall. I finished the meal and still felt hungry afterward. I guess it wasn’t enough. I didn’t try any of the other drinks since the meal included a drink.
