Really 3.5, but Unilocal doesn’t to half star reviews so bumped up to 4. The service was really fast for dinner on a weeknight, there were only a couple other parties there. The bathrooms were so tiny! But clean. The teriyaki chicken had a really thick sugary sauce. The jasmine rice was a little dry, but that is probably just because it is long rice. The spicy pork was really thick and just a little spicy. Neither dishes were really authentic but they were passable. The price was fair for what you got, and I left full.

Waitress was super nice. Food came out relatively fast. Tasted great! They made the teriyaki chicken how I like it: sauce on top. Also, fairly inexpensive! I’d definitely come here again.

This place has been rather hit or miss for me. Their teriyaki chicken is very good, but you should try putting some extra teriyaki sauce on top to enhance the flavor(what ever sad side dish comes with it has a very tasty sweet dressing) I have also had their Mongolian noodles and fried rice both are pretty good. On the other hand I would say to avoid their egg rolls and maybe some of the other appetizers. The egg rolls were too peppery and soggy. They tasted like they had been frozen, not home made, and just dropped in a deep fryer I would assume the same is done for some of the other apps, but you never know. Overall solid food, good prices, would absolutely go back to this place again.

This is a nice order at the counter, have the food delivered to your table sort of place. It was clean, the staff was accommodating, and the food was quite good. In particular, my wife really enjoyed her salmon, which was served with rice and an Asian salad. The salad was nothing to write home about, but it was okay. The teriyaki pork and beef that I had were kind of grisly but tasty nonetheless. Overall it was decent and I would go back.

Came here with a co-worker who had my salivary glands going with her description of the spicy chicken teriyaki! Coming from Hawaii I am slightly stubborn and picky about my teriyaki sauce so I wasn’t over excited to try it… initially! Finally we tried it. it was BUSY at lunch, but overall they moved fairly quickly through the line. I like a line because, to me, it means the food MUST be better than simply ok. The menu is pretty good… they even have Chicken Katsu for those that know what that is – and that is sorely missing from most HAWAIIAN places in town. Anyway back to the place at hand. I was able to order Spicy Chicken Teriyaki breast! YES — you mean I don’t have to fight skin and fat on my meat? HEAVEN!!! Anyway the chicken was cooked properly. It was spicy but not overly crazy spicy. Their side salad had a nice dressing and it was crisp and fresh. The extra teri sauce I put on my rice was also very good(not spicy but good basic teri sauce). I also purchased the Gyoza… always something I try to see if the restaurant is any good. They were. Had a nice crunch where they had obviously pan/grill fried for a few seconds. You order at the register and then they bring it to you… so HALF waiter service. The portions are average. but it was certainly enough to fill me up, especially with the rice. I will definitely be back here… YUM!

My go to place. Great prices and really good. The chicken teriyaki place is the best deal. Substitute the salad for macaroni salad and you’re set for the day.

The time for the waiting is too long! There are 2people in the restaurant, and I still wait for my meal for half an hour.

Come here for an early dinner after class on a friday around 4pm. The woman that rung me up and brought me my food was very nice! It was clean in there and the food was great! Fantastic Teriyaki and I can’t wait to try the beef next time! In the mood for some rice and teriyaki? stop by — you won’t be disappointed. =)

Very good food. Teri beef, teri chicken, and chicken katsu were very good. Good japanese type sticky rice, not jasmine type like other asian places. Only negative is that food takes a while to arrive. Our late dinner with place empty took 20 minutes so will be worse at peak times.

My new favorite lunch spot. Tried the Mongolian Beef rice noodles and I was sold. I suppose the oil level is slightly above average but that’s just how these noodles are supposed to be. Deliciously chewy, and the vegetables were cooked well too. The owner also seems to be very nice, quiet and unassuming… Overall a great environment to grab some grub. Call me a fatty(cause I am) but I am determined to try everything on the menu.

I really think people should come and give it a try. I’ve been a student in UO for more than one year but I didn’t visit this place until last month. Soft tofu hot pot was the only dish I ordered and it was quite good. The owner is a sweet Korean lady, much nicer than the«boss» in Café Soul. I just ate an apple for the whole day and finally got a stomached this evening. I was eager to have a warm soup so I went there. The owner noticed that I wasn’t feeling well so she served my soup in advance. Before I left, she also told me that health comes first. It always feels good to have someone say such thing to you:) This is the closest Korean restaurant around campus, so come and you won’t regret!

As far as Asian cuisine on the 13th Ave campus block, this is new absolute favorite place. Food was tasty, and the cashier was very nice and accommodating; she went into detail to explain the components of each dish when she served us. She also brought us a free sample dish of french fries! Service was fast and excellent all around. Perfect for a lunch break for my work which is right by there. I ordered the Mongolian beef, and it was so yummy… My friends and I shared all of our dishes!

I ate here just a couple days after it opened, so the extra star is to acknowledge that there are many, many bugs to be worked out. Having said that, this was a pretty bad meal. I ordered the spicy yakisoba combo, which was literally dripping in chili oil, had epically overcooked chicken and steak, and noodles that had crossed the line from pleasantly chewy to crispy. My companion got the veggie yakisoba, which looked much better, but there are clearly improvements that must be made — especially when you consider the ubiquity of this quasi-Asian style of restaurant around Eugene. I may give it another chance, but beware the No. 14.

The food is quite good, but the service is incredibly slow. I have waited over an hour for a student bowl — rice with teriyaki chicken on it — at lunch. I have had to leave without receiving food, even though I already paid, after 45 minutes due to having to go to class. They don’t organize nor expedite orders, nor do they organize tables to have the food come out even remotely close in timing such that a group may dine together if on a schedule. I never give a new restaurant a bad review unless I go at least three times. So far my food has been tasty enough every time, but my waits have been 12 minutes, 48 minutes and 1 hour and 6 minutes respectively, even though the place was approximately the same amount of busy each time. That’s not to mention the time I had to leave after 45 minutes of waiting in order to get to class. It’s sad because they have good food, good décor, good prices and absolutely the worst service I have ever dealt with in my history of eating lunch.
