Been coming here since I was a kid back in the ’80’s. Still my favorite Chinese restaurant in Fairfield. Most recently got Hong Kong Pan Fried Noodles and Mongolian Beef. Once again, does not disappoint.

Would I come here again? Probably not. I will continue to look for a better Chinese restaurant in this area. This was my first time trying this place and I wasn’t impressed. I got two lunch plate B. One with chicken fried rice and orange chicken the other with chicken chow mein and Sweet n sour pork. The orange chicken was too saucy and not very tasteful. The rice was horrible. I tried pouring sweet n sour sauce over it to disguise vinegary flavor or whatever was making it taste weird. That didnt help at all. The chow mein and sweet n sour pork tasted good but compared to the other dish of course it would taste better. Some seem to like it but coming from the bay area to this area, I’ve had better.

Good food, perfect atmosphere, great host/waiter. Orange chicken was delicious(but not at all spicy). Happily surprised it was all white meat. Lightly battered outside and tender inside. Fried rice w/chicken was better than most. Egg roll was perfectly seasoned and cooked(cabbage even seemed fresh). Sweet and sour sauce was the red/orange version and so tasty that a little went a long way(but there was plenty if you wanted more). Egg drop soup was one of the best I’ve had.

I’ve had excellent service eating here. Food always comes out fast, always fresh vegetables, and the workers are very polite and courteous. I am a returning customer. I recommend this place to be the best Chinese food in town.

We went for dinner. The service was very slow, but the staff was friendly. We spent over $ 50 for dinner for two. We had one of the Family Meal deals and they were flexible in allowing us to substitute main dishes, which was nice. We chose this restaurant based upon other Unilocal reviews and were honestly disappointed in the quality of the food compared to other Chinese restaurants(with lower ratings) in the Fairfield area. Everything was salty and slightly bland in regard to spiciness. The egg drop soup was good, but the Kung Pao Chicken, Singapore Curry Noodles, and General Chicken were all average. Our search for great Chinese food continues!

I was a bit skeptical about this place because I have had takeout here multiple times and it hasn’t been too great, and it’s very hole in the wall atmosphere. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I dined in. The atmosphere actually gets more pleasant when you sit down. Since this place is pretty small and generally isn’t bustling, the staff wait on your every need. Customer service is very important to me and they hit the mark on that one. There was one waiter that sort of over-waited us and it kinda freaked me out but at least we were given service. We got a family special. The food came out in courses, soup, appetizers, and then the entrees rolled out. There was constant hot tea which added a nice touch to the whole experience for me. The food was good, but I would’ve liked to see less chunks of veggies and more meat. The fried won tons were super fresh and amazing, ample sweet and sour provided! We thought that the crab rangoons were a little heavy on the cream cheese though. Chow-mein A-OK. Overall pretty good experience, would recommend. Almond chicken — really good!

Most consistent Chinese food in Fairfield. We always order takeout, the food is always hot, good portions, and fresh ingredients.

The best Chinese in fairfield. Boom. Move over great moon buffet. A big native took me here. Insisted on the Singapore curry rice noodle. It’s the bomb diggity. Now part of my weekly carb ritual to make all these gainz! I always order extra so I gots some in the fridge. And the owners daughters are hot too.

Coming through town from vallejo at a cheerleading competition headed back to rocklin. Hopped on Unilocal and found this place. Not only was the food amazing, but the service was great too! We got orange chicken, chowmein, rice and crab wongoons for our family of 4 and still had leftovers. $ 36 bucks. We will be back!

Great spot, great food, very nice people! Stopped at Peking for a take-out order. Definitely made the right decision! The fried spareribs and everything else was great, and the portions were very generous.

just ok… sadly. The staff was super nice and helpful when taking my phone order! The chow mien was bland The Fried Rice was yellow… wtf?! The sweet and Sour pork was just ok. The egg rolls were good as well as the pot stickers. Overall, ok, but we won’t be returning,

The food was ok. I ordered Orange Chicken, Chow Mein and fried wontons and my total came out to about $ 29. The wait was about 35 minutes due to it being a Friday night, which they said is one of their busiest times. The restaurant looks like it needs some updating, which explains why there weren’t very many people eating in. On the other hand, the staff was friendly and engaged in conversation with me while I waited for my order. The Orange Chicken wasn’t the fried kind, which is what I prefer. So I probably won’t go back for that reason alone. But nevertheless it had a good flavor and tangy sauce.

Been looking for a good place to get Chinese food in fairfield and this is the perfect place to go! They have lunch specials and you get a lot of food for the price. I called in my order and they had it ready in time as well. They also have great customer service! I’ll be back, every week lol

During a recent business trip, I stayed at the Courtyard nearby and was looking for some solo food options that would be quick and easy to take back to the hotel. I drove by Peking and decided to give it a try. It certainly has that divey Chinese food place look from the outside(and not a whole lot different inside). Once inside, I could tell this place was fairly popular — tables were full and those coming in for takeout seemed to be regulars. Overall, the food was great and I certainly would give this another try if I am back soon!

We were craving Chinese and we were not about to drive to Vallejo in the rain so we decided to give Peking another try. We placed the order and it was ready within 25 minutes. This time we got: Mu Shu Pork, Honey Walnut Prawns, Beef with Broccoli, and House Chow Mein. The Mu Shu was delicious, the prawns were pretty good, the beef with broccoli was bland, and the chow mein was just okay. Overall we both agree this place is good for a quick Chinese food fix but our heart still belongs to China Wok in Vallejo.

When your husband gets up and serves himself for a third time you know a place is good. We had the snowpeas chicken with mushroom, house chowmein and rice and green onion beef… The food was ready when they said it was going to be ready. When we got there the person at the counter was very friend, and when I asked for hot sauce we was more than happy to give me more. Usually at places the are super stingy with extras here no problems. When we got home the food was perfect. They tasted fresh and good. Goes to show how for the most part Unilocal is pretty accurate in its ratings

Came here last night because I was hungry for some Chinese food and most places on Sunday are closed early. Peking was open until 9PM. I’m not sure how I never noticed Peking before. I’ve passed by it several times but because it’s hidden away in the corner of the Raleys plaza, my eyes skipped over it everytime. I was greeted by the sweetest lady ever, Jenny. She’s such a doll and was able to answer all of my questions about the menu that I had. Ready for my breakdown of the food? Wonton soup: They do not skimp on the wonton and meat here. Usually the soup is all broth but here the soup was hearty annnnnd tasty. Egg drop soup: This was the one dish I was somewhat disappointed in even though other people raved about it. The corn in the soup overwhelmed the flavor of the broth. I thought it was just OK. Green bean beef: LOTS of green beans. Not drenched in sauce. Just enough to have the nice flavor and not overwhelm it. Orange shrimp: This was one of my favorites. The flavor of the sauce was so good! And the shrimp wasn’t ridiculously covered in batter. Just enough. Sweet and sour pork: Your typical sauce. Nothing special but it was still tasty. The pork was a little chewy though. Honey walnut prawns: They gave us so much! And again, the shrimp wasn’t covered in a crazy amount of batter so it was really good. Oh and they give a good amount of walnuts too. House special fried rice: This place has the best fried rice. I highly recommend the house special. It has every meat in it. All in all. Im sold on this place. I loved the service and the food. And the prices weren’t too bad at all either.
