The chow mein was not good at all. They don’t have the proper labels for the food. The emergency exit was blocked off by chairs which I found crazy and hope no one ever has an emergency. They have the worst customer service both waitress and the cashier. The host at least said have a good day on my way out. Will not be coming here again.

I’ve been coming here for a while, and just due to me not consuming any food this one time and just sitting next to the person with me who actually purchased their food. They give one a mean look as well for your service experience diminishes. They don’t won’t even look at the table ones sitting in. Just because I’m not eating shouldn’t tarnish the other person accompanying me. The busboy didn’t greet nor made eye contact. That’s fine but tossing my utensils at the table. I say what kind of service is that. More experiences like this and I will not be coming nor recommend any one to this place. The only upside is the price for all you can eat. Other than that horrid.

Food was okay but the waiter was rude(short oriental). He got bothered when I asked for a refill. When my husband left to pay the waiters all came to start cleaning the table and he got the tray where u put the tip and threw it on the table. Just for that we will never go again.

I had my high school graduation dinner here with my family and that was almost 6 years ago. Overall, this restaurant is OK. The food is always taste the same. The seating, the service, the environment are always the same. This is why I gives it a 3 stars. There is nothing«bad» regarding this restaurant. The seats are clean, the service are ok, we never got food poison. but they havent change the menu in the past 6 years. NOT A SINGLEITEM. I can remember what kind of food, goes into which tray at which location and I dont even come into this place every month.

Granted that this restaurant have a great price, there is a reason for it. It is dirty, from top to bottom. No other way to put it. As I sat down, my eyes wandered around, and oh boy they need a cleaning crew like yesterday. The food was mediocre at best, and the few signs that were there to indicate what you were about to eat, were placed in the wrong spot and there were about 5 legible signs, other foods had no signs at all. In front of a fried fish, it said Teriyaki chicken for example, and so on. Not going back.

BUGS!!! I was having dinner tonight with a couple friends and when I looked down at my plate, there was a baby roach crawling around *in* my food. When I got justifiably upset, and complained, they said«sorry» and then pretended not to understand what I was saying. I left without paying, I hate to think of how many bugs I may have consumed prior to noticing that one. Don’t come here if you expect a sanitary eating experience.

I’ve come here a few times since moving to the OC, and I have to say, it’s great for what you get. If you’re in the mood for an all-you-can-eat Chinese food buffet loaded with chow mien, rice, veggies, orange chicken, etc., this place is for you! It could be a bit cheaper, but the food is definitely satisfying and of good quality. My only gripe really is that the staff could be a bit nicer and more flexible. We came in before closing, at least an hour and were basically pushed out the door before closing. It was a bit ridiculous having spent $ 15, but the manager gave me a coupon for 50% off the next time I came in. Should’ve been free, but oh well. It’s a great place to come with friends, so I recommend it.

I found what was either a beatle or cockroach in the stems of the broccoli. Was so disgusted we let them know and left. They came running after us and gave us a $ 50 gift certificate. Never used it and never went back.

This place was ok. Maybe it’s because I was so hungry! The floor seemed kind of dirty. Got seated right away. I tried to get fruit punch and guess what… they don’t offer fruit punch. The workers wouldn’t refill our drinks unless I asked them. Plus the ice cream machine was broken. At least have a back up. Put a bucket of ice cream in ice or something.

I had a birthday party here yesterday. Their banquet room is a good size and is separated from the rest of the restaurant so it makes an ideal restaurant to hold parties. We only paid $ 15 per person which included food, drinks, tax, tip, and use of banquet room. The room itself isnt setup very well but we rearranged the tables and chairs to make square tables. We brought in white linen and decorations and it turned out really nice. Most of the staff was very helpful and accommodating during my event. I was also very impressed with how well they kept the food trays stocked despite having 90 people get food all at one time. The food is also pretty good. They did okay with keeping beverages filled at the beginning but stopped checking on us by the middle of the party. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because the manager lady was rudely pressuring us to leave at 9pm even though they didn’t close until 930pm. When we cleared out at about 920pm, two waiters came up to us telling us we had to put the tables back. When I told them that was not part of our agreement and that it is their job to clean up after an event, they told me that their manager told them we had to because they would go in to overtime. … umm not my problem lady! We just left anyway. Other than that, it was a pretty great experience. Easy party since I didn’t have to cook or clean.

The food is terrible. I had to pay $ 13 and couldn’t find anything available that was worth eating. And then the soft serve machine was busted. Not impressed

First lets talk about the place in general… There’s always plenty of parking available at this location and the restaurant in never crowded ! The place is clean and the busboys are always cleaning for you! Second the fact that everyone is friendly from the usher to the busboy gives this place a great customer service and happy atmosphere which is a plus! Third and most important the food is very delicious ! Although Everything is good, I only come here for the sweet and sour soup! One thing tho you will end up super full! I suggest you wear your sweats;)

This is such a great restaurant! The price is really reasonable, 11.99 $ per person before tax. They also have 10% discount for elders above 65 with ID. I just spent my summer at Seattle and the price for a ordinary Chinese meal is the same as this buffet! About their food. I’m really satisfied. A lot of varieties: veggies, meat, noodles, rice, fish, salad, fruit, sushi, etc. their green beans are great but the broccoli with oyster sauce were just ok. But I love their seafood! Especially the fried shrimps and crab. There were lots of meat and the flavor was great. The clams were a little cold but the newly served ones are delicious. Noodles and rice are just like other Chinese restaurants. They also have dumplings, spring rolls and fries. General Tsao’s chicken was delicious! The sauce was amazing! It’s a must try. There were also lots of choices for salad and fruit. They have different sauce from Italian to thousand island. They also have coleslaw and Cesar salad. They also have fresh fruits. The strawberries and grapes were fresh and sweet. Melons were pretty good and they also have canned fruits. In short, it’s a great restaurant with cheap price! I certainly recommend it! He food is delicious!

This place was a good Asian buffet complete with endless chow mien, fried rice, Cajun shrimp, green beans, orange chicken, General Tso’s chicken, etc. The list is endless. They have about four choices for soup, really good sautéed mushrooms(that I kept refilling my plate with), and pretty good lemon, vanilla, chocolate, and tapioca pudding. I’m not a big pudding fan but these were pretty decent and good to eat with fruit :) You also have an option of making your own Mongolian noodle bowl, in addition to a large salad bar stocked with fruits, vegetables, and dessert. Four stars because I’ve been to other Asian buffets and this one was lacking in sushi and pizza which would have made this my go-to Asian buffet had they had these. All in all, good service with a down-to-earth feel about this place. Won’t be coming here soon because my stomach is too small to handle these types of establishments and buffets typically make $$$$ off of my lack of stomach space. It was $ 11.99 for an All-You-Can-Eat dinner. Lunch is a little bit cheaper.

Customer Service: Being from NYC, I am familiar with the hustle and bustle in an over served, under staffed Chinese buffet. So nothing new here. It was not hard to get the attention of a waiter, but those guys were moving 100MPH. They are very attentive though, clearing plates and refilling glasses. They waiter and the cashiers were very friendly. Ambiance: Typical buffet layout, plenty of seating to host large groups. The décor was not much to appreciate. I have seen better oriental presentation. Food: I must say, I have been having a hard time trying to find a buffet similar to one my Brother and I used to visit every Saturday while in North Carolina. Just to bring back good ol’ memories. China Buffet definitely struck the spot for me. The variety is well laid out. The items are displayed in very clean and well labeled hot trays. With my visit, I did not see trays staying empty very long. There is a great variety of seafood, chicken and beef. And not a bad spread of pork either. The dessert booth was just over whelming. The one thing I didn’t like much was the fact that the sushi was placed with the salads and desserts. I prefer sushi to be in its own booth. Everything I tried at this visit from the fried rice, clams, shrimp, rice noodles, and chicken side were amazing. Kids were able to have chicken tenders, pizza and fries. Overall, this is defiantly as spot I am a fan of, I know there might be better places out in the OC, however, for a 4 minute drive from downtown, this is a great spot to go for a quick meal when everyone wants to eat something different.

Came here with my husband for lunch. I got my food and sat down to wait for my husband who was getting his food. While waiting I noticed that the Bok Choy looked a bit dirty. I figured perhaps it was pepper or some kind of spice. Upon close inspection I noticed it was indeed dirty and I noticed it had 2 bugs with clear legs. I immediately for disgusted and informed my husband. We took my plate to the front and informed the gentleman of this. We informed him we had found two spiders/bugs on our food and he took the plate to inspect. He looked at it closely and said it wasn’t a spider. He called over another worker and asked if it looked like a spider or bug and the other guy inspected it and said it wasn’t either. I said, «yes it is a bug it has legs. I took a picture of it.» After I said that the guy said it wasn’t a spider but one of those bugs found in the organic boxes that the Bok choys come in. He said he would tell the kitchen to wash the vegetables but that this bug was harmless and wasn’t a cockroach. I just looked at him like what? Then he proceeded to tell me to get another plate and that it was okay. My husband told him we were leaving and the guy said okay but it’s okay if she gets another plate instead. I shook my head and said no thank you. We ended up paying for just one plate. What bothered me the most was that they didn’t even apologize and was trying to justify the bug being in the vegetables. So if you do decide to come eat here, just be careful and make sure the veggies or food are clean/bug free. I posted three pictures as proof.

I decided to stop for a quick bite while running errands. Man was this a mistake… I don’t even want to pay. To start their was hair fried into the fish which was under my tartar sauce. The host said it belong to a guest as he pulled 1 inch of the 3 inch hair from the crust of the fish. The food was cold… shrimp way over cooked. Mongolian? The trays were empty… only crumbs of what was there. The veggies in the salad bar were wilted. Maybe they should close at lunch and focus on a hot, flavorful, full buffet for dinner. While watching the new customer come in they appeared to be here for the first time. The group next to me ordered beer… maybe I should have just stopped for a cold beer and ate somewhere else. Even on a good night I don’t see this food being any better… headed to Mc Donalds. I will not come here again. They gave me a 10% discount… they should have paid me to eat here. $ 10BUCKSDOWNTHEDRAIN

China Buffet was the go to place for all my family’s birthdays when my cousins and I were growing up. I dreaded coming here because the quality of everything was sub-par, but I was dragged to the buffet anyways. Fast foward a couple years, the food is still mediocre, but definitely better than your local hole-in-the-wall Chinese take-out spot by your house or Panda. The food sits out so the edges of it dries up. The rice is decent, but that’s pretty much all it has going for it. My favorite thing is the Mongolian BBQ. Don’t let the mean lookin’ chefs deter you away though. It’s the only thing that doesn’t *really* sit out and gets cooked up fresh right in front of you. The place is old and has been around forever, but I guess they’re doing something right if it’s still around.
