Smoothie was really good, buffalo wrap was good but lacked proper amount of buffalo sauce maybe next time make it seem like a buffalo got murdered, I will definitely be back.

Come before school lets out. It took almost an hour to get two smoothies, a wrap and a flatbread. The guy who opened the door for us said he ordered one smoothie and was there an hour.
The food and smoothies are fine. Nothing too great, especially with the price. Watered down smoothies are 4.99.Wraps are 5.99(i believe).

I literally stay up at night worrying that Tropical Smoothie Café will discontinue their «limited time» artisan tacos. They are so delicious, every one. $ 7.99 for 3 is a great deal. Bacon is crunchy, Thai one has nice heat, and everything tastes fresh.
The staff is polite but more importantly low key.
I also bought a side of kale apple slaw as well as a fruit medley. Both were brilliant and only a buck each.
Can you bare superlatives? Best tacos I’ve ever had and best fruit salad in recent memory.

I do enjoy fruit smoothies throughout the year. I am rating a fair middle as they are good, but a bit more expensive than most other chains $ 4.79 for a 22oz (I believe). Service is a bit unprofessional, I really do not need a charity request to go beyond the first NO, and the chattiness of the guy at the counter led to long lines. They do have all the basic ingredients, but I am betting with the gritty texture, their may be a bit of ice in there. With the making’s going on behind a windowed counter behind the front counter, you really can not see what is going in.
Good/​fair product at a higher price marred by service– 3 stars I can only imagine people giving this 5 stars because they have never been to a classic west coast Smoothie bar and received Starbucks caliber service at one.

Agree with the workers with attitudes statement below. Brought in a $ 0.99 coupon for smoothie bc i signed up for email and they said no bc I wanted to order tacos instead of sandwich. Guy kept saying unfortunately mam… To every customer. Like he enjoyed it. Now you know they could have made coupon work. Drove out of my way to go there bc of coupon. Poor customer service.

Teenagers with shitty attitudes, giving shitty answers to easy questions. Service sucked, short blonde cashier with glasses was rude to everyone we saw order. Someone (the owner) needs to get it together.

If Tropical Smoothie was a song, it would be Ain’t It Fun by Paramore. It just makes me so happy! And I’m sure they could kick ass at breaking world records in their music video too. But straight up, this place is my jam.

Get up and Goji = awesome. They do smoothies right. Location isn’t as close as the other for me, but perfect for most Gainesville and Haymarket folks. They have good food too — don’t pass it bye.

Been here quite a few times now and I have always enjoyed what ever smoothie I have gotten because they are all really good!
It’s definitely not an everyday kind of this because of the price but it is a good treat or post workout reward!
The staff and service has always been good with the food being really enjoyable!
It a four star just because I the price but I guess all that fruit probably drives up the overheads
In all I would definitely go back because it is very good!
Try the bahama mama if you want a recommendation

My first visit ever to a Tropical Smoothie Café. Went in on the recommendation of a friend that I try the ‘Immune Blast’ smoothie to help out with this blasted cold virus I’ve been fighting.
Ordered the smoothie — light on the sugar as instructed. As far as I can tell it has oranges and bananas and Vitamin C and who knows what else? The smoothie certainly was tasty and refreshing! Have no clue if it will aid my body in fighting off the creeping crud — but at least it was enjoyable!

This is an excellent place for a sandwich and a smoothie. My favorite is probably the ultimate club but all are good :) Best of all you can get smoothies without any added sugar or other sweeteners (which is a real boon for the health-​conscious like me)

They messed up my order. Bunch of teenagers who work there. They totally give you a small amount of meat on your sandwiches. In my situation barely any meat on it and the whole time the manager was in the back laughing at me and embarrassed me for when I asked about why there was a small amount of meat for something I paid $ 8 bucks for!!! Why go there, when you can go to Wegmans and make yourself a wonderful clean fresh sandwich!!!
Horrible manager, horrible service and horrible food!!!
I will never return to this damn place again!

Best smoothies ever… especially since you can get them made with Splenda! The place is clean, the staff is friendly, and it will satisfy your sweet tooth, without all the bad calories. So, why not five stars? Because its $ 5 per smoothie… and I had two… in one day… oops! A bit pricey, but oh-​so-​good!

I love tropical smoothie. I find the staff at this shop to be friendly and the shop was easy to find. I was extremely excited to get a Tropical Smoothie out near me but I’ll be honest I find myself driving to the Manassas or Centreville location the last 5 times I’ve gone to this location the flavors weren’t as robust. At first I thought it was just a bad fruit day, but I’ve spaced it out just to be sure.

This little shop is tucked into the back of the Wegmans plaza. It doesn’t get the traffic it deserves. Delicious smoothies, great «boosts.» The staff is friendly and easily adapted my order to my special request several times. (I’ve asked for no sugar and for ½ sugar b/​c I don’t like artificial sweetener.) The food looks fresh and delicious but I haven’t tried it yet.
The owners are often behind the counter when I go; ask them sometime about why they opened the café and you’ll hear the passion they put into it.
