Carl’s Jr

Grew up with Carl’s Jr, so I’m kinda biased, but the burgers are amazing and I’ll go far out of my way to get it — if it’s nearby, it’s where I’m eating.
The charbroiled patties (original, not this Hardee’s Thickburger nonsense) are wonderful, and could be identified by blind taste test. Crisscut fries, Super Star, Western Bacon, now they’ll tag a Monster onto a combo… it’s like they know me.
This location has always been friendly to me and in a dozen trips has never messed up my order, or my family’s. I want them to open a Killeen location so I don’t have to drive all the way to Georgetown, but it’s worth it.

Everything was going good for the first couple of years. The service got worse over time. They wreck my orders. Most recently, they charged me for an extra burger. That order was also missing a burger. Carl’s Jr never followed up or corrected the issue. One star guys good job.

Don’t do fast food to often anymore but I use to always come here. Clean, friendly, and quiet. Plus, they give Military Discount!!!

Don’t go in for a lettuce wrapped anything. They don’t know how to wrap a burger even tho they advertise on the menu. Poor service. Desperately needs new management or more training or both.

I’ve been in the drive through for over 15 minutes now and it’s 3 p.m. It is a holiday weekend (Sunday) but not exactly a prime hour. I gave my order and was told to hold on and then was asked again what my order was and gave it again. They are really putting a dent in the travel time back to Houston. Hopefully the food is worth it.
Later… On top of the above they forgot my drink straw and total drive thru time was 21 minutes. However, the fries were hot, fresh and salted perfectly. The burger was good and it came out correctly.

While Carl’s has some tasty breakfast items, I think I am going to stop going there for a while. I have been twice recently and have been overcharged twice. Both times I upsized my combo order to a medium. The workers there have no authority to refund any money after the transaction has been completed. When asked about what can be done, the worker indicated there was a new GM who adjusts the prices.
So it’s pretty obvious the GM does not know how to add or use a calculator.
If you do go, check your receipt and make sure it matches up with what is advertised. If it’s not, then tell someone. Only after enough of these reports, will they get it right.

10 mins waiting thru drive in, wrong order, 2^nd time that happens, while the wait they lost 3 customers that were behind me

Decent size portions of American style burger takeout. Clean, friendly and the burgers have never disappointed.

I love Carl’s Jr for one item — their cheap SPICY CHICKEN SANDWICHES! They are so good! I also love their criss cut fries, onion rings and cookies. I know I’ve had the Famous Star in the past when I lived in California and it was good. I just always get the spicy chicken sandwiches because they are my favorite. Location is decent, I love the Wolf Ranch shopping center. However, sometimes the drive through takes a little longer than I’d like. Their ranch is gross, and the fried zuccini is bland. If they were to ever take off their spicy chicken sandwiches (it isn’t even on the menu, I just ask for it) I probably wouldn’t go here anymore. The sandwiches are much better than any dollar menu sandwiches from any other main burger chain. Too bad there isn’t a location closer to me though, I would like to have breakfast there sometime.

Poor service. Charged for a drink we didn’t order, then charged for zucchini we did order but they didn’t give us, no orders read back, had to ask for receipts both times cause they were not offered. Instead of apologizing for mishearing the order the cashier accused us of ordering the wrong thing. Horrible.

My wife had the chicken tenders and fried zuchini, the chicken was chewy and the zuchini was pretty good. I had a cheeseburger that was mediocre and some zuchini. The diet DR. Pepper was good, can’t always say that at a fast food place… we shoulda went elsewhere.

Ha… I just gave a fast food restaurant 5 stars! I have to say I loooove Western Bacon Cheeseburgers. I also love their grill chicken sandwiches and their fries are decent. Kids love their shakes and chicken stars — which are available in a 1ct, 6ct or 9ct. (who orders 1 chicken star???) This location is always clean and our order has always been right. Wish they would open one in Round Rock… But if they do I’d probably gain a whole mess of weight.

Hearty Breakfast Platter is the best fast food breakfast around, especially for $ 2!
Also, we didn’t get the guys name that was working the drive thru this morning — but he deserves a fat raise! So kind and happy

The burger and fries here are always a delight and the dinning room is always well maintained.

The service is always really friendly here! I’ve never had any issues. Love the badass burgers (and Low-​Carb Burger Option), and their shakes!!!

Never gotten my order wrong and its nice and clean inside. Carls Jr reminds me of home! sucks its so far from killeen!

Good (fast food). No mess ups ever the price is great for what you get and always deals that beat all others, a nice range of food too!

Yummy! Western Bacon Cheese Burger! Way better than Sonic, Burger king, Jack in The Box or Mc Donalds. The only burger place that would compare is Whataburger. This location is always clean and the employees are nice and attentive. I wish they would open one in Round Rock so that I don’t have to drive 15 miles to satisfy my Western Bacon cravings.

Don’t laugh. Turkey Burgers are better than most at twice the price. No kidding. It’s still fast food. It’s still Carl’s Jr. But these burgers were really good. Go figure. I guess Carl must have met some «beach chick» from Laguna Beach or something. Or maybe he met Mr. Tyson. Either way, his turkey burgers are «cluckabally» delicious.
