By far the best restaurant in the area. Interesting food, good wine list, knowledgeable staff. we dined here twice and also stopped by for a nightcap. This is very unusual for us because we like to experience many restaurants while on vacation. Bartlett NH is known for a ski resorts and thus has many ski type sports bars/restaurants/and pubs. –make a reservation!

We went here Sat., 5÷28÷16 to celebrate our anniversary. My hubby had the crab cakes and he said they were the best he ever had. I had the ½ salad which was great. The hubby had a pasta chicken dish which was delicious. I had a beef dish which the beef was a little fatty but the gratin potato was delicious. I was gonna order the same as my hubby but decided to try something different. The bartender was super – a beer on tap was empty which didn’t fill the glass and he didn’t charge us. This was classy and we were impressed how professional he handled this. He really made the night! We will revisit again and I will order the pasta chicken dish if available.

The food was great and i’d love to return. The service we had was so terrible though it would make me think twice. We were basically abandoned at our table for almost an hour, kept being low on water, sitting in front of empty plates – and the table next to us got checked three times as often and finished 45 minutes faster. Didn’t order dessert which was a shame to miss.

Great place. Food was phenomenal. All fresh and great quality. Service was good too. The only thing too add, in my personal opinion, would be more Italian wines to the wine list, but that’s just me. Definitely worth it.

Place is a gem. In an area where with lots of kitchen nightmares, fast-food spots, and seasonal restaurants, this place holds it down. A well thought out menu and great ingredients make for an awesome meal. The ambiance is perfectly rustic and the drinks are good too. Try the homemade potato chips with curry sauce as appetizer and get the cider doughnut with vanilla ice cream and Carmel sauce for desert. We are looking forward to having the rehearsal dinner for our wedding here in August!

What a great time we all had! So many happy faces at every table! Food was perfect, the special menu was fun, and allowed us to try things we may not have normally, it was delicious! We had a few more folks to add to our table, and they were very helpful! I could go on and on, but you have to make White Mt Cider Co a regular habit! It will do you good!

Our family had mixed reviews as we left this restaurant. The atmosphere and service were lovely, but we were underwhelmed with many of the sauces and seasonings. Our favorite dishes were the fried calamari, drizzled with a cider glaze and the roasted beet and goat cheese appetizers. For entrees we ordered the flank steak and the rack of lamb special. Both dishes were cooked perfectly but arrived tepid and over-sauced. Desserts were yummy. Both the crème brûlée and the toffee caramel cake were great and the presentation was picture-worthy. They did do a great job with our request for birthday candles on our daughters’ desserts.

AMAZING!!! Just my style with the rustic/modern twist. Our waiter was extremely professional and on point with everything. The food matched the restaurant with its great presentation and unbelievable taste. We WILL definitely return next time we’re in the area.

Awesome! The food was soooo tasty and the service perfect! My husband had flank steak and I the lamb special– both amazing! We also had the homemade chips appetizer with Gorgonzola — to die for! A half-serving was more than enough! We will definitive back! Well worth the extra 10 minutes north of No. Conway.

Best cider donuts in NH. Food is also very good. I wouldn’t try anywhere else in the area…

Can’t say enough about this place! The food was absolutely fabulous from the Brussels sprout and crab cake appetizers to the duck and scallop entrees. I can’t remember when we have had such interesting, fresh and flavorful food! The service was also exceptional including the bartenders who were both a get source of suggestions and very friendly! This is a must try spot!

We ate dinner here last weekend, it’s right down the street from our condo, and we’ve never tried it before(although it was recommended). We ordered a nice bottle of wine, to be told they didn’t have it. Selected another one, they also didn’t have that. That was fine, they suggested a bottle that was great and we enjoyed it.(Might be time to update that wine list though! Our server mentioned that they were going through some changes with the wine). Our server was friendly, and knowledgeable and her service was fantastic. Our appetizers were also great. We started with the charcuterie and the pork belly. Both were fantastic! For our entrees, I ordered the gorgonzola and bacon crusted pork chop and my boyfriend ordered the duck. The duck is supposed to be cooked medium rare, but it was overcooked. The one constructive criticism I can give, is that the owner/chef came to the table and was slightly aggressive in explaining that the duck WAS in fact medium rare.(My boyfriend is also a chef at an upscale restaurant, but did not disclose this, and never does when we are out dining). He asked them to cook it rare, which they did, and her demeanor was pleasant again! All in all, it was a great experience!

Trust the reviews guys. If you’re up in the area and looking for a nice dinner, this is top game in town. I’ve had my share of good food over the years. While this place is not fancy, there’s no expensive décor, there’s no foam anything, there’s no stuff you can’t pronounce. For the simplicity, it was one of the best meals I’ve had recently. It’s comfort food, for me at least, without everything fried. Both the charcuterie board and the cider mill salad were solid starts to the meal. Their special apple cider vinagrette was truly the bomb. I can eat salad every day if I had a gallon of this stuff. My husband had a pasta dish special that he really enjoyed. I always get the duck when available(to varying degrees of satisfaction). This one was cooked perfectly, fat rendered but still medium rare in the middle. Perfection. All the accompanying veggies were great too. I’m actually not a huge fan of donuts normally. But these cider ones with that glaze? My oh my…

8 months after we first visited White Mountain Cider Company we came back to celebrate my husbands birthday. The meals, waitstaff and atmosphere could not have been better. Bartender James wow’ed us with his amazing mixing and pairing skills and Joanne our waitress made the night extra special by giving us amazing recommendations. We enjoyed a chip basket, the pumpkin and apple bisque(out of this world) and my husband got the chicken special which he wouldn’t stop raving about. I got the vegetarian tart which was an explosion of flavors and arguably the best vegetarian meal I have ever had. We can’t wait to go back there!

I can’t believe we’ve been driving by this place for years and never tried it. We had an amazing dinner. Good cocktail selections — the cidertini is the BEST! I highly recommend it. My husband had a great glass of Grenache. We started with the cider house salad and the mushroom croquettes. Both were really tasty, the mushroom croquette was crisp on the outside and was amazing. I ordered the porchini dusted chicken and pasta. If you love mushrooms and truffle oil, this is a great dish for you. My husband had the shrimp and sausage pasta, also very tasty and rich but I liked my dish better. Unfortunately, we had no room for dessert. Prices were ok — 2 apps/salad, 2 drinks, 2 entrees for roughly $ 100 with a good tip included. Service was great and we will definitely be back for dinner again, maybe try the cider and donuts. Yum!

We lucked out this weekend! We stayed only a mile away from the delicious cider and cider donuts! Definitely hit the spot since my husband is starting to get a cold. Next time we come up here we will definitely make reservations for dinner and I will update my review.

Our experience at White Mountain Cider Co. was very special. We went for my mother’s birthday, while on a family vacation in the White Mountains. I chose it because they offered options my mother could eat(she is gluten free), and it also was not your typical NH restaurant. The atmosphere is very relaxing, but classy, and makes you feel like a private chef is cooking dinner for you. It has the most beautiful wooden beams, wooden floors, wooden everything. The scent of wood and cider drifts into your nose and doesn’t leave, remaining there and adding to the taste of your drinks and food. It is a scent that a yankee candle can never recreate, and something you couldn’t imagine unless you had smelt it before. Even in the parking lot, you smell the donuts and the apple cider, and it invites your curiosity to figure out where it comes from. It is a dream. We each ordered a different type of meat(pork, steak, cod and chicken) and were beyond impressed with the flavors, the presentation, and the cuts of meat. Everything was done to perfection, with flavors that sunk into my tongue and when mixed with the aromas of the wood, created the most lively, warm feeling inside. We then of course got the donuts and the ice-cream, and that melted in my mouth more than ice cream and donuts should. I never wanted the feeling to end. The donuts were the best I ever had, and were so fresh and warm… I wish I could wake up to them every morning for breakfast. The sensations I had here were unexpected for a dinner out, and were rare for a restaurant to provide. Normally restaurants might just touch on the taste, and sometimes the smell. The overall experience here provides an awakening to revitalizing to all of your senses.

We’ve dined here only once, but it was a delicious experience on all levels, and we have no hesitation in giving it five stars. The restaurant has a delightfully energetic vibe, attentive service and of course some excellent dinner preparations. It is housed in what appears to be a small restored farmhouse close to the highway, a setting that doesn’t immediately suggest what fine dining is offered here. The presentation is splendid but never feels stuffy, and the food is fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Tuna, haddock and sirloin made up our dinner, and each was deeply satisfying, especially the sushi-grade tuna with a surprising slightly sweet sauce that brought out some unexpected flavors. The cider donuts are appealing for dessert. And the bartender serves up some stylish, yummy concoctions. Add to that a server who was knowledgeable, never intrusive and yet caught everything we needed, and you wind up with good reasons for returning. Which we definitely will later this summer. A word of caution: during the summer the restaurant fills up quickly on weekends. A reservation is a very good idea. You’ll be glad you made one.

What a gem, just past North Conway, NH. Small place with limited seating so if you’re planning to go on a Saturday night, reservations are a must! I made reservations on a Monday and the only seating they had open was at 5pm so we took it and so glad we did! There was a line outside the door when we got there — waiting for the place to open! All people hoping to get a seat at the bar because they couldn’t get a reservation. The bar was full by 5:15. We started off with their fall calamari appetizer which was AMAZING and by far the best dish we had all night. Next was their charcuterie plate. Two of the cheeses were really good, but everything else on the plate made it hard to justify paying $ 18. For our main dishes we got the lobster risotto and ricotta gnocchi. The risotto was good, but not great as the lobster meat was all claw meat and didn’t taste fresh. The gnocchi on the other hand was really good, great flavor and cooked to perfection. One last note, you need to give a credit card to hold your reservation and if you don’t show up, they charge your card $ 25 per person on the reservation.
