Poor service started the night off on a bad foot. Our server was very nice but not well trained. She broke off the cork while opening the wine and had a general lack of knowledge of wine. She was not well read on the menu as well. The high point of the evening was the appetizers, they were priced reasonably and the portion size was substantial. But it went down hill from there. The entrées were very small. I had lamb and would guess I received less the 4 oz. of meat. One of my friends had scallops there were 3 and they were small. My soup wile not bad had the prevalent taste of flour. Over all the food was good but not enough to feed a toddler. The desert cart was a joke. Our waiter was not sure what each item was and just laughed about it. Again she was very pleasant but not a waiter. The décor was odd and felt like the song Hotel California. For the money, which was a lot, walk away.

I would definitely not recommend this place or go back. Food is bleh, atmosphere is bleh, service is bleh. So many good options in the area makes you wonder how they stay open. If you want a nice night out I’d pick another place.

Eh wasn’t bad, server was excellent despite a busy Saturday night. My girls steak was great however I ordered the chicken fried steak and sadly it was just mediocre and the side of veggies were actually the best part of the dish. Kills me to say it but I’ve had better at Chili’s. Perhaps I should get a steak next time?

My brother and sister-in-law had the worst dining experience in their life at this place. Servers could not open the wine bottles. Their orders were wrong when they were delivered. When one of the servers put a plate down in front of my sister-in-law, the server broke a wine glass sending shards of glass into her face and many peoples food. They were moved to another table and remade the orders but they were delivered wrong again. I can’t believe a steak house would hire such incompetent servers.

A friend of mine and I checked this place out based on another friend’s recommendation. The atmosphere was underwhelming… expected a little more from a nice steakhouse. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was actually quite good… I started with a field greens salad and enjoyed the salmon for my entrée. Nothing horribly wrong with this place, but also nothing overly memorable for a second visit.

Worst Steak in Dallas. I got a $ 50 Poterhouse, that tasted like they dropped it in a bucket of PEPPER, and the meat was«Aged» but tasted like it wasnt at all, and worst of all the Steak itself was bad quality. The filet side had more fat than your average NY strip and the Strip side of it was 90% fat and 10%meat… I come to Dallas every six months… Avoid this place not worth it at all… I’ve had better Steak at longhorn…

Had a wonderful dinner tonight. The calamari was as good as I’ve ever had. The lobster bisque was perfect. Our table had lamb shops, porterhouse and filet. All were as good as more expensive steak places in DFW area. The large asparagus side was enough for the 4 of us. Atmosphere was perfect for our small celebration. We will definitely be back. *** I’m not sure why Unilocal shows the restaurant«closed» today. It certainly was OPEN. If you see that you should call to confirm.

I really have enjoyed SKY Bar — which is the upstairs portion of Vineyard Steak House. Our company has had several private events at SKY Bar, in which we had the balcony and balcony room reserved privately. The new owner has worked with us thoroughly on the menu, and always makes sure we are a satisfied customer walking out the door. Top 3 items we have ordered for our group events are(1) BBQ Meatballs(I’m soo obsessed with these!!)(2) calamari and(3) Bacon wrapped shrimp. Great décor, clean… the food is excellent quality. We will continue to use SKY Bar and Vineyard Steakhouse as a venue to host our customers and group evening events. We appreciate their service and quality of food very much. If you stop in… order the BBQ Meatballs! ;)

I’ll go back. Location doesn’t have the clubby feel that a Bob’s or Del’s would welcome you with. But the quality of the steak was there. My wife and I both order the woman/man cut of the filet. Medium rare. Prime beef seasoned with salt/pepper was just what I was looking for. No crazy tricks or anything. No burnt crust, carbon taste. Made well with care. Also had the calamari and wife had the Lobster bisque. next time, will spend time upstairs in the Skybar. looks like a fun place.

Over-priced and over-salted. We had the filet, lobster mac & cheese and mashed potatoes. Everything was good, but feel there are several other steak houses that are just as good, if not better for the price. The atmosphere was so-so. I would not recommend or go back.

Had dinner there on Jan 9. The downstairs restaurant was louder than most sports bar. Don’t expect a intimate atmosphere. The language was vulgar. The food is quite good but ambiance horrible.

We dined here for New Year’s Eve. Best New Year’s Eve dining experience we’ve EVER had. The food was excellent, the staff was friendly and not rushed, and the wine excellent. Usually restaurants stick it to you on New Year’s with over-priced fixed-priced menus you are forced to order from, and you get rushed so they can fill turn over more seatings. That was not the case this night. I highly recommend this restaurant and will be back again soon(and for sure next New Year’s).

Let me first qualify this by saying that we went here for dinner on New Year’s Eve, and my expectations are very low on NYE. We typically never go out door dinner on NYE, but circumstances required us to go out. We live in Dallas, and have hit every high end steakhouse in Dallas, as well as others around the country(NYC, Chicago, Houston, Miami, etc), so our standards are very high. We were a little early for our 7:15 reservation, but they were able to seat us immediately. The wait staff was attentive, but we could tell they were stressed about the evening and the impending barrage of diners. The manager, Vera, even came over to I traduced herself and helped out quite a bit. I was impressed that the manager was rolling up her sleeves to help out. Drinks came out promptly, and we were given the list of specials. I ordered a bottle of wine… a very modest 2007 Clos du Val at $ 68, as we had a couple of phenomenal bottles of wine waiting at home for us after dinner. The waitress brought out a 2009 Clos Du Val, and seemed surprised that I noticed the difference in the vintage. The went back to «double check» to serif they had a 2007in stock, which they didn’t. Vera(the manager) came over and presented the same bottle. When I explained the dilemma, she understood, and apologized. After a little negotiation, she offered to take $ 12 off the price of the wine, and I obliged. I was very appreciative. However, when the bill came, the discount was not applied… but once I called Vera over, she was very apologetic and took care of it. I didn’t eat a salad, but those in my party who did said the salad was good. The steaks(men’s and women’s cut filet) were cooked to order and were average in flavor when compared to Dallas’ top spots(this is Southlake, not Dallas). The sides were plentiful and tasty(mashed potatoes, baked potato). Dessert selection was good, and we opted to split chocolate cookies with vanilla ice cream, and a chocolate dessert with ice cream as well. Both were quickly devoured. Unlike Dallas, the tables were not jammed next to each other ala European-style, so we were able to have an actual conversation without our neighbor hearing. The prices were about what I expected… not cheap, but certainly less than steak houses in Dallas. Those who complain about the prices obviously don’t get out much beyond Outback Steakhouse. Overall, the food was average to slightly above average, all things considered. The service, despite it being NYE, was good. Again, I suspect the waitstaff was not on their A-game due to it being NYE, and my standards for steak houses are very high when compared to Dallas and other major cities. I wanted to give them 3 ½ stars, but was required to give either 3 or 4. I gave them the benefit of the doubt given the fact that it was NYE, and gave them 4 stars.

This place was a solid 3 stars. It was a little bit over priced for the quality of food and the service, but good nonetheless. For starters we got the crab cake and pulled pork deviled eggs, the crab cake was good and the deviled eggs were the bomb. Their lobster bisque was good, but a little thicker than it should have been. My boyfriend got the mens cut filet cooked medium rare and it was perfect. I got the scallops with mushroom risotto, which, per the waitress, is the second best thing on the menu after the filet. The garlic mashed potatoes were mediocre at best, they tasted like they were real potatoes and instant mixed together(cheap). The lobster macaroni and cheese was awful, I sent it back. The mushrooms were in a phenomenal sauce and the carrot cake were to die for. Overall, mediocre for a steakhouse that’s supposed to be comparable to Nick and Sam’s or Del Friscos.

A total rip-off!!! I just ate at the vineyard and though food was good, the value for it was just poor. I spent 59 dollars for a travel voucher deal that was suppose to b a whole meal included. Why did I end up with a $ 131 bill afterwards? The only thing I ordered extra that was not included was a bottle a wine that was $ 30 and which they did NOT discount 20% as promised and a lobster Mac & cheese for 12.95. Hmmm… a 47 dollar service charge. A little misleading if u ask me. If I would not expected to come out of this place 60 bucks poorer, I would have been just peachy with everything. Never again!!!

A really weird experience. From going into the front door, to leaving to go to another location, it was just stupidly hard. Don’t even know where to start to explain the experience. But graciously decided to pass on this place and ended up at Dino’s on Main Street instead. No wonder their dining room was basically empty on a Saturday night.

This place smelled fishy upon entering so we chose to eat upstairs on the patio instead. One hour later we had to ask for the bread I had heard from Unilocal reviews was so amazing because our appetizer had not made it out yet. Our three 4oz filets were very disappointing as my husband and I both spit out several gristly pieces. We also ordered some sides. To our disappointment, the grilled veggies were raw and the au gratin potatoes were mediocre. There was no toilet paper in the women’s restroom and even after I told the manager… One hour later there was still no toilet paper! Very disappointing for a momma who doesn’t get to eat out much:( On the positive side, we told this all to the manager and he comped our meal and dessert.

I didn’t notice«BB& Luigi» in the signage. It just read«Vineyard Steak House». I sat in the Sky Bar upstairs. They have a fruit infused vodka. I recommend trying it. Nice balance. Not too sweet. The way I like it. The lobster bisque was above average. The texture could be smoother and thinner. Seems like they use flour to thicken. It was too thick. But the taste was good and there’s a healthy amount of lobster. I rank it 3rd after Chamberlains and Old Hickory. Some of the oysters were not cold. It was room temperature. They still smell and taste fresh. The porterhouse steak was good. Done exactly as I ordered. Nicely seared and tasted great. The highlight of the night was the service. Chelsea and Chasity were excellent waitresses. They took great care of me from the moment I sat down. Will RTE.

2 words… Filet mignon… you must order this here… it is amazing… boyfriend had the New York strip and it was also notably good. Also they have yummy bread that they bring out before your meal with garlic butter sauce. I was trying to stay away from it but it kept talking to me. I had a nice glass of red here too. Romantic atmosphere, we went there for NYE dinner. I was very pleased with the classy atmosphere and service. Also they have a skybar on the 2nd floor and I’ve been there on another night, they had live music and it was a nice low key spot to hang at on the weekends.
