Had a wonderful dinner here with the kids! We had the Greek salad, Italian braised beef, sausage stew and pasta marinara! Everything was great and loved the atmosphere! The service was great and it was a very relaxing meal. We bought some scones for tomorrow’s breakfast and tried the macaroon and lemon tart. All were delicious.

Sam’s Graces is such a cute, affordable and pleasant place to dine. The first time I came here was to grab some desserts including the blueberry granola pie, which was absolutely delicious, and so fresh. The second time was for brunch on a Sunday morning I ordered the whitefish Benedict with a side of hash. The whitefish was spiced extremely well although a little overcooked for my preference. Overall it was delicious and I highly recommend it. Also, I think it’s important to mention that our server was amazing, she was kind and friendly and really made the experience even better on both occasions. Thank you Sam’s Graces!

I’m a solid regular at this fantastic place! Locally sourced food, everything home made, and not even a microwave in the kitchen. And now… Comfort Food Weekends this winter. Every Friday and Saturday a special plate of delicious food is on offer. Yesterday it was chicken stew with biscuits and tonight, to my great delight, it was pasta and meatballs. Victoria is a gifted cook who puts love into everything she makes. If you’re skiing at Nubs or Boyne this season, skip Petoskey and turn right at the light for the best weekend dinner you are likely to find!(And lunches every day but Monday, including wood fired pizza, are just as wonderful)

Stopped in for breakfast & our group of 8 loved everything they ordered. Eggs Benedict are made on a homemade English muffin. The pancakes are excellent… added chocolate chips for my daughter. Biscuits & Gravy used maple sausage and was unique & amazing. Even the oatmeal got rave reviews!

We stopped here on our way back from the tunnel of trees, and it was delicious! The soppressata pesto sandwich was amazing! As was the mozzarella pasta salad. We ordered one to share between my husband and I, and we loved it so much we got another! The ambience was cozy and the service was great. Thanks Chad for a great experience! This place is a must try if you are in the area.

Had lunch at Sam’s today as snow fell in Petoskey. My wife and I started with a huge bowl of chili that was filled with ground beef and very good. We also had the pepperoni pizza. For dessert, I had a lemon –blueberry scone that was light and tasty. I’d recommend Sam’s highly.

Really, really great breakfast place. High quality food and service. It is obvious that hard work and quality ingredients go into everyone of their dishes. I would highly recommend the eggs Benedict as it is the best I’ve had in a long time!

Outstanding food, service and fair prices ! A great new addition to HS! Smoked whitefish is everywhere up here, but they do it best — atop homemade english muffins and poached eggs — superb!

Ate breakfast on a Sunday. Crowded so service was very slow. Friendly service but food is mediocre at best. Choices are slim in HS. Mustang Wendy’s is a much better choice, but new restaurant is not open yet.

I love Sam’s Graces! The food is all homemade, the service is great, and it is an all-around wonderful experience there. I would not go to Harbor Springs without visiting this restaurant.

Thanks Unilocalers — great spot for lunch. Not inexpensive, but worth it. Very high quality. We had just emerged from the Tunnel of Trees/M119 — recommend that too!

Quick lowdown on this place. First of all I have known Victoria(owner) since she was knee-high to a grasshopper. She comes from a truly wonderful family. The name Sam is her late father. Sam loved to garden(he took it very seriously and was a master). So this awesome cute little place is Sam’s graces(sadly, he is now gone). But that is only part of it. This food is all fresh and HOMEMADE! Scones English Muffins whatever. You will not meet a nicer couple than Victoria and Chad. You will not have a better meal anywhere else, I promise.

Both the white and margherita pizzas are indescribably delicious– truly the best pizza I’ve had. Thinner crust, but with so much flavor and texture — ! My friend and I ate here for the first time a few weeks ago and haven’t stopped recommending it since. It is a small space — only seven to ten tables — but it’s easy to move around, not crowded at all. Such good service, and it was so interesting to talk with the owners, who were right there running the register. Would definitely plan my Harbor Springs visits around meals at this place!

Fantastic. Good food prepared by good people. The breakfast sandwich(egg-a-muffin) is the bomb. Homemade English Muffin. YEAH! Scones, pizza, baguettes… get ‘em all, you won’t be sorry.

My husband and I, as well as our 9 year old son & his friend all loved our breakfasts. It’s an uplifting, light-filled space. Service was great. Three of us had the pancakes, light and airy with excellent flavor, and sides if bacon. One had eggs, sausage and hash browns. Everything disappeared. We were fueled for most of the day & shall return again to capture more of Sam’s Graces!

What a great gem in Harbor Springs. Tucked around the corner you may drive by once or twice and miss them. But turn around and give it a try. Really great sandwiches. Quality ingredients. Wonderful bread. Ordered a pizza too just to give it a try as they have a great oven working back there. Really impressive pie. They are not big, and I’d love a 16″ version, but it was really well done. Great addition to the hood.

Outstanding breakfast and lunch in a shabby chic setting. Terrific breads and baked goods as well. Friendly staff, though seems to take a moment for them to figure out seating. Not much parking there, however, it’s an easy walk once you are in downtown Harbor. Highly recommended.

Updated: This is a really good restaurant. It has a nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and great food. I highly recommend trying this place out. The food isn’t fancy, but it’s tasty. Their pizza is wonderful! I recommend getting the White Pizza with chicken. They also recently added a beer and wine selection from local brewers and wineries which just made it better.

Sam’s Graces is the best breakfast place in Harbor Springs. Try the smoked Lake Michigan Trout Benedict or the vegetable Benedict.
