Fresh fish, shrimp, amazing oysters, crab — down home feel. Locals know this place for a good reason. Fair prices and friendly staff. 5 stars.

I had lunch here on 01/25/2016, and I must say it was very good. I was warmly greeted and quickly seated in a quiet area of the restaurant. Our waitress was attentive and served us well. We ordered one seafood gumbo to split. It was good, but not the best I’ve had. It had a dark brown rue with lots of vegetables, a couple of shrimp, and one oyster. We ordered the Luby’s Platter and split it (see photo). It was good. There was a lot of food, so that’s an easy entrée to split. Overall, I am a fan of this place and will return.

Stopped in knowing nothing about it before hand, and was very happy with the food and service. Josh waited on us and knew the specials of the day by heart. We each had one of the specials and both were very good. Grilled flounder with fried bacon wrapped shrimp; and shrimp and crab creole with fried crawfish. Both tasted fresh made and we’re not overly seasoned. Josh took very good care of us.

Great food. Always take our Aunt for her BD here. All of our party is able to find some thing we love on the menu. I do have to say, our wait staff Joshua, was exceptional!!! We offered him a piece of my Aunt’s BD Italian Cream BD cake and he accepted even after I jokingly told him I had licked the knife. .just kidding, you know. Prices are reasonable, food good and service is great.

Nice place just off I45… Not fancy… but good food at a fair price.
Its not exceptional, but way better than most chain places.
Interesting décor if your into old fishing photos.
Steak was a bit overdone and needed some more seasoning but was a good cut.
Weafood platter was darn good… wish it came with a salad as the only veggie was a little side of slaw.
Good service… kept filling the tea without being asked and even beought 2 to go.
