My first and last time here. If you see more then 5 people here it’s best to go somewhere else. They have about 10 carts and people are ignorant and won’t share even though they are still waiting 20 more minutes for the washer to get finished.

This is my first time coming here, and it is definitely my last! The customer service is very unsatisfactory! The manager was understanding however not worth being here! The prices is 2.75 for the small nd 5.75 for the bigger. Yes the drys are«Free» but honestly u make up the differences with the .75.

Laundry Factory is located in the plaza with A&P and Best Buy in downtown JC. Whenever I have a ton of laundry because I am a) traveling or b) working like an animal and do not have time to go to the laundromat in Bayonne, I pack up the Hyundai and head over here for their Wash & Fold service. Wash & Fold is .75 per pound with a minimum of 10 pounds. I usually bring at least 30, sometimes more. I am not sure if I should share that on the internet… But I have no shortage of clothes so it is not uncommon for me to go a month without doing any laundry. Life was easier when I had a washer/dryer in unit. Here are some things I like about their service: 1) they use good detergent so things are not stinky. 2) things are folded neatly and packed efficiently into a brick 3) sometimes you can get same day service Here is what I do not like: 1) Cash Only… It is 2014, please pay Visa or Master Card a fee so I do not have to carry cash. I hate monies. 2) Unruly Children in Laundromat.(This applies at any laundromat) Happy Laundry folks.

Lots of machines, open late, free dryers although people hog them. I wouldn’t say it’s super clean but it really isn’t that bad. The worst part is the other clientele… seedy as f*#%. Its good for when my local place in Hoboken closes early and I must do laundry.

Some picky ridiculous people post on Unilocal. It’s a friggin’ laundromat with amazing prices and free drying. Don’t complain so much, rust stains are from the crap water we have, it doens’t effect your clothes. Staff is great and the owner is a little odd at first but a nice guy when you get to know him been going here for 3 years off and on. Cheapest place anywhere. I live in Hoboken and go here.

Can you give a zero rating? This place is dirty as hell. Not what you want when you’re looking to CLEAN your laundry. The detergent and softner bins are coated with rust. Rust that’s getting into your laundry. Dont go here.

You should definitely wash your clothes here! The small machines are $ 2.50 and they fit A LOT of clothes(maybe 2 loads in each). And if you have more loads, there are even bigger machines! And the dryers? IT’S FREETODRY! You just have to keep pressing the start button every 15 minutes but IT’S FREETODRY!

This place is getting worse and worse. The convenience of it’s location(A&P & Target) and free dryers is wearing thin. The negatives are starting to really outweigh the positives. It’s great that you can dry for free, and get some other errands done while doing your wash. However, the battle for dryers that rages in this place gets beyond heated. Not to mention the inconsiderate people who like to take about 8 dryers to dry 3 dryers worth of stuff. Good luck asking them to consolidate. On top of inconsiderate, dryer hogs… I’m going to coin that term right now… the place is considerably dirtier than it used to be, and almost never opens up when it’s supposed to. Frustrating, especially if you wake up early to get your laundry out of the way. I would also highly recommend that you do not drop off your laundry for wash & fold here. Two weeks ago, I had the«pleasure» of folding my clothes next to a foulmouthed, teenage employee. During the 35 or so minutes that I was next to her I witnessed her drag some poor person’s clean sheets along the filthy floor without a care in the world. When she noticed that I saw what was going on, she gave me a smug, ‘I don’t care’ look all the while she stepped on the sheet she had just dragged along the floor. For the time being, I do still go here. Again, it’s hard to argue with $ 5 for 2 loads of laundry, and the one stop shopping of the location is nice too. I just would not recommend this place to anyone who is thinking of checking this place out. I already know what I’m getting myself into…

I assume from the other dated reviews that this place has gotten a severe makeover since then. My friends and I like going here to do laundry because it is conveniently located near the A&P, Best Buy, Pier One, and Target. Also, the dryers are free, so you can get away with only spending $ 6 – 7 if you have a regular amount of laundry(and if you are single without kids like me). Save the occasional left-behind fabric softener sheets, the place is clean. They sell detergent, laundry bags, and softener, although the prices are a bit high. They have vending machines, video games, lots of televisions(usually tuned to Univision), an ATM, a restroom, and plenty of seating and folding tables. I have never waited for a washer, and have only waited for dryers once or twice. I am usually able to use a few dryers at a time. Of course, I usually try to go after work around 4, and I avoid on weekends or holidays. My only gripe is that some parents need to get better control of their kids. No one else should have to babysit your children. Sadly, I guess this is the case in many places, not just the laundromat.

I should have noticed the date of the previous review before going here. I went at 10:30 on a saturday morning. A large number of washing machines were out of order. When I found one that was available and working, I asked the attendant to purchase laundry detergent and was informed that they do not sell any. By the time I got back to my clothes, there were already other customers eyeing the machine I had my clothes in front of.

When Helen was there this place was the best. I dunno what happened but I can tell you that you wont have a problem with finding a dryer or washer. Ample tv’s hang about and the paintings on the walls are cool. pier one is next door and so is linens N things-thats a plus
