Jack In the Box

Drive through depends on the pace of the workers – sometimes quick and sometimes slow. Their ice coffee lattes are great. Half the price of SB and tastes just as good.

It is a hit or miss!
Food:
I love the Oreo milkshake! It’s a thick creamy shake with a cherry on top. My favorite thing to order is the Sourdough Jack with curly fries. You MUST order the buttermilk. I forgot to order buttermilk once and my meal was horrible without it.
Do NOT get anything if you aren’t eating it right away. It tastes better when the food is hot.
My recent order was a disappointment. My sourdough bread and bacon was burnt and overall my burger was dry.
Price:
A Sourdough Jack with curly fries and a regular size shake is $ 10. A five piece chicken nugget is almost $ 3.
Drive Thru:
They have a drive thru! The drive thru is fast and it isn’t constantly busy.
Overall, this is the only Jack in the Box in the Ewa Beach, Kapolei and Ko Olina area. I don’t crave the food often but when I do I come to this location.

We come to this Jack in the Box often as my children have practice in Kapolei. I have to eat out alot and have a large family. So I look for ways to save money. We usually order the 2 tacos an order of 10! Which is 20 tacos! I order it with no sauce for the kids. They love Jack in the Box tacos!
They always make my order fresh. And give some taco hot sauce on the side for us older people.
I also love their chicken fajita pita, which is full of chicken, cheese, lettace, grilled onions and salsa (optional on the side).
Their french fries are kind of stale so that’s why the 4 stars not 5. Other than that I like how convenient it is in Kapolei right by the park.

If you want fast food after 9PM in Kapolei and don’t want McDonalds or driving on H1, Jack is your best bet. You can get a $ 8 meal at Denny’s in Kapolei (including tip!) if you order off of the discount menu, but sometimes the call of the curly fries and grease heavily disguised as tacos is too strong, and you head to Jack. Their large drinks are still annoyingly oversized for some cars (7 – 11 moved to oversized soda cups that work with most car cupholders years ago), but a burger, curly fries, and a large drink after 9PM (and made in minutes!) is amazingly satisfying.

If I could, I’d give this place zero stars. As it stands, I only have one star to give (and that still to generous). I went to this Jack in the Box on Wensday, May 13. After I went there I ordered my food and went about my business. I sat own and ate my meal. But when I got home, I developed a severe case of food poisoning I have been in bed throwing up and sweating for the last two days. My fever has broken and I have been having diarrhea all day. This store does not hold up to the standards that OSHA has, and I recommend no one go to this restaurant.

Food was good and I wish the service was the same. Got my order wrong but it did come with an irritated attitude on the side. I’ll be going to a different jack in the box from now on.

I must say Jacks taco’s really are the shiznit when you are hungry. Of course you cannot beat the price. I order at least 2 taco’s every time I go. However, this particular Jacks must use old grease. The taste is a little different. I’m not even a picky eater. I even went on yesterday for a quick bite to try the new butter bun jumbo jack. I was not impressed. Well, maybe cuz the damn burger was cold. I even told them please make the food fresh. I really don’t wanna bash these guys but you must do better. 3 stars is really being considerate. I will go a few more times for convenience, but I hope it improves fast. The worst part of it all, it was like 10am. No one was really there.

I usually always come here after 9 o clock at night when I get off of work and I just want to say how pleased I am with the staff here. No matter who is at the window, they are always so nice and friendly. Thank you!

the managers today do not know bout Da mayo onion sauce. I ask for that only. No mustard or ketchup only mayo onion sauce and she had no clue. told her been @ jacks many years since they had onions in the mayonnaise. she said they never did. so I know she do not know Da history of Jack. if I wanted ketchup and mustard I will go to McDonald’s or burger king!

The only reason I would even eat junk fast food is because I am in a hurry and it comes fast. When did junk fast food become pricey and still taste like crap. To top it off I couldn’t even eat my burrito because the tortilla was ripped. In multiple places. So not only was I in a rush now I wasted my time and money at Jack-​in-​the-​Box.

Tacos, tacos, tacos! (and chicken nuggets and Jumbo Jacks!) You can’t complain about this location. It’s 24 hours like every other Jack In The Box, but usually the line to the drive thru is fast and they always get your order right.
The older lady who runs the drive thru during the afternoons/​early evenings, is a sweetheart and is super fast with your order.

I know this is fast food not junk food but cheeze what the hell! I dunno how people can think they can give crappy food. I work hard for my money and I use to work at a fast food chain and never gave out crap food like this. Never goin back and whoever gave it just remember karma!
Oh and they forgot my egg roll!!!

Of course this rating is based on overall experience. I am a cheese stick jalapeño poppers eating son of a gun and I love that you can get both here. It’s sooo convenient and the staff rocks! They always give me extra marinara sauce. One of the managers there (I think her name is Fili?) is super nice every time I go. The place is clean and the service is good and fast. I love the 2 free tacos that you get for filling out the survey!

Went to the drive thru for a late night snack after work.
On the way to the drive thru, 3 of the workers were outside smoking so I was thinking…“great” this order is going to take forever but as soon as I got up to the speaker, instant response. I didnt wait long at the pickup window either!
Service was good, and genuine. Nice to see local people at the window!

I love their curly fries with buttermilk and the sour dough burger.

I rarely eat at JBX nowadays and when I do, I get disappointed. I still like JBX but, I most def. experienced better.
Why? When I ordered my hearty bowl breakfast in the middle of the night (no shame) I opened it, and it was like I was jipped (sp?) It looked empty, I mean it had everything but it seemed like they didn’t put enough? usually when I get that, it’s filled up to a good serving amount.
The food tasted as if it was not cooked fresh, or just not cooked thoroughly? yuck. Quick drive through, means crappy food. I don’t expect it to be FANCY being that is ‘fast food’ but come on, other JBX served better than this one.

Thank God they have one in Kapolei. Have to say one of the best in the State of Hawaii and one of the better ones on Oahu. Do they even have a Jack In the Box on any of the other islands?
Located right across the Chevron Gas Station of course ²⁴⁄₇ drive through. They are always very fast and not weird to drunk customers like me that go there all the time. They always don’t tell you about the upsell thing when you order meals though so if you don’t wana become a fat lard tell them you want the regular size or small lol that’s what I do.
I love everything Jack In the Box has to offer. I love how they’re so innovative and this one in particular I’m not afraid to eat at because I’m pretty sure they keep their facility clean. LOL
Come here if you’re broke&sick of McDonalds. haha there’s more variety!

This particular jack in the box is always busy so they are on the ball with correctly taking orders and getting them done quickly. You get a ton of food for reasonable prices and the customer service can’t be beat. I’m dead serious about the customer service thing. Everytime I have been through the drive through they ask me if I liked the service I received. I say «yes, the service was excellent, thanks for the delicious deep fried tacos».
Yes, they deep fry their tacos. It is the only place in the world I have seen where they take the whole taco and dunk in the fryolator. That’s why the tacos here are so good. They take a bath in the fast food hot tub of flavor.
Go to this jack in the crack and you wont be let down.

Jack in the Box is quite tasty! I come from a place in Colorado where they have a Five Guys and sadly, Oahu has no five guys. Although Jack in the Box is not as good as Five Guys — it can a substitute for it (Jack in the Box and Teddy’s, that is). All around — a good burger. Good fries. The medium size is more then enough. The drinks are HUGE, even as the medium!

I’ve been coming here for years now and surprised that there’s no review yet? When the drive through line at McDonald’s is too long, I’ll go across the street to this fast food restaurant instead.
I bought the Spam breakfast platter this morning. I’m not sure if this is supposed to be a «jumbo platter» but it’s certainly not big enough for me to have for lunch as well. I was planning on eating half for breakfast and the other half for lunch today. I do like that it didn’t come with a hash brown, like McDonald’s. I haven’t eaten fries or hash browns since summer of 2009.
