Fast service and nice clean space. We ordered the Samosas, southern Indian curry, fried rice, and spicy noodles. I loved the curry. Great flavor and went perfect with the basmati rice. The kids enjoyed the fried rice and it was a very large portion so we all got to try it. I thought it had a good flavor. The noodles were okay but by far our least favorite thing that we ordered. Samosa’s were great but I did not care for the dipping sauce at all. Overall good value. We will definitely go back.

I went once and can leave my opinion. Its basically«food court» food such as being in the mall and they are charging way too much for it. Overall the meal was way too simple to be $ 10. My friends tab came out to $ 15 which was insane. Portions were good but I don’t feel I got what I paid for. Interior is nice and new. No problems with service. Wont return due to the high price of mediocre food. Shame.

To start off I don’t typically leave negative reviews but the service at this location is awful. Visited on Saturday at 2:45, only two other tables in the restaurant occupied when I arrived. Therefore, I’m not sure why my chicken65 and lamb murghali(plus two samosas to be exact) took 30 minutes to be ready to go. I’m also not sure why numerous dine in guests who arrived after me were served(and finished their meals) before my food arrived. Doubtful l will return to this location.

I love the korma! Some of their food is greasy(excessively) but the flavor is good and the price is right.

I am LIVID about the service at this location– very rude employees! I called to place a take out order and had to repeat everything twice– when I asked her to repeat the order she gave me attitude, repeated the order(leaving a few things out) and then hung up on me! The westheimer location had much better and friendlier service. Definitely need to switch out employees if they want to maintain loyal customers! A note about the food– the curries tend to be a bit more on the spicier side at this location than others; they say it’s mild but it’s pretty spicy which isn’t something I’m used to. I don’t think I’ll be returning to this location.

Came here twice for take out. First time I got the chicken tika masala, the sauce was rich and flavorful, however the chicken and rice were too dry. Second time I got the tandoori wrap with chicken, which was a much better choice compared to the tika masala, but again the rice that came with it was too dry. Overall the food wasn’t too bad, but not impressive either.

I really like the chicken spinach masala(it is like saag). I tried the tikka masala but it wasn’t up to my standards. Don’t waste your money on the garlic naan, regular is ok. The food from the wok side is ok. I think their bell pepper is too large and should be cut smaller to match the rest of the ingredients. The spring roll is soggy when they stick it in the box of food. The menu is sticky. That just doesn’t seems too appetizing while ordering, but getting it togo is my only way. I only come here for the Indian part. Closer to home and cheaper. I would go somewhere else for the other parts.

I was excited about tasting their food as I love Indian food. However, I was sadly disappointed and upset that they would take such little pride in their food. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala. It was overly sweet, cold and the chicken tasted like it had been frozen and tossed into the sauce. It was horrible. The rice was dry and very bland. No flavor. The Naan I ordered was the kind you buy at a grocery store in the frozen section. Not made fresh! It was very thin and reminded me of cardboard. In sum, this place is to be avoided if you have had real INDIAN food. Bad food is never worth your time and the money you spend! This is fast food and really a poor interpretation of Indian food.

My co worker told me that this place was amazing so I wanted to try it. No greeting when walking in. It does get crowded though during the lunch times. Came in ordering the menu was very small. I was going to try the pad Thai but they don’t have tofu. I love baked tofu in pad Thai. And also they said it had fish sauce in the pad Thai. I thought it was pretty gross so I decided to get the fried rice. What can go wrong? When checking out the cashier asked if I wanted to leave a tip? I’m confused I thought it would be for the waitress/waiters who actually come serve us but just by ringing us up. Don’t get me wrong I love tipping but it just threw me off. So I got my fried rice. It was actually a big size for the price of 10 dollars. It was bland. I would suggest to put soy sauce. It had cabbage. I didn’t finish my fried rice. Maybe that place is not too my liking.

Parking here can be a pain especially around lunch time since there are limited spots and good restaurants in the same plaza. The line was short when we got there which was nice. I came here for lunch and got the chicken goan vindaloo with a samosa on the side. They give you a ton of rice! I love rice and all but damn. The vindaloo was tasty with very nice flavors and the right amount of heat. The samosa was good and the shell was crispy and flaky at the same time. I didn’t like the green sauce they give you with the samosa. I liked that the meal was tasty, fairly priced and prepared quickly.

Not good. My boyfriend and I were looking for a place that had some veggie based entrees and we tried this. It had some great options like tofu and veggies but the food was so bland. We asked for spicy and if they put any in, I’d be surprised. If we hadn’t asked for it I couldn’t imagine what type of bland and super unseasoned flavor it would have had. Nice patio to eat on but when you can’t finish you meal who really cares?

Was out visiting friends in the burbs and we need a quick place to grab take out so we went with the Masala Wok. Tow of us went with the chicken tikka masala & one went with the southern curry. The masala was delicious, although my one friend thought it was a little extra creamier than normal. The naan full order was good, but I am a huge naan fan and would have gone with a double full order(my friends told me they received more the previous time they went). I also added the veggie spring roll, not really a fan it was a little soggy. We grabbed some beers while we waited for our take out. We went with the Oil & Guns. If you like light beer this was like an artisan Miller Lite. I know it sounds weird, but I liked it. Will I go back? If I am out in the burbs, I will definitely go back, but staying away from the veggie spring roll.

firstly, plan on taking a while to order, there are tons of options, but when you’re ready don’t be surprised if no one helps you for a while; but food has plenty of flavour but could use improvements in quality for the price in some cases. I will for sure return since I have a lot of things to try that one does not get to try this side of town! I spent a good bit trying to make up my mind since it all sounded so good. I love all their pictures on their walls, which should have labels so I can decide instantly! but I couldn’t help but go for the chicken 65 with a description like«spiced-up red-hot yogurt sauce, curry leaves, & green chilies and basmati rice.» the dish was stunningly red, yellow and orange and equally tasty without too much spice at all actually. tons of flavour and for sure a twist from the mundane everyday. that was a fun plate, but pretty big portions for me, I only could finish the chicken. my wife had an equally fumbled decision, going for a variety in the rice and noodle bowl with shrimp, which was big enough for 2 easily. the omelet on top was almost over the top too much, but the bowl was very tasty and holds the distinct honour of a rare take-home bag for my wife, so you know it must be good. the naan was extremely upsetting and shameful. I wanted to throw it back. but it did sort of make a bad tortilla for my plate. I mean it is just plain, bare, lifeless, like out of a box dead. more like a wafer I would say. clearly in no way homemade or really even fresh. for 50 cents I wouldn’t have felt bad, but those slices for 2 $ is just crazy. at least put some sort of seasoning or butter or salt or something on it please? I realise it’s best in conjunction with our meals, but they more like brought the other food down a notch. the samosa chaat was a tiny bowl of what looked like soup: yogurt, garbanzo beans, cilantro, chaat masala, chopped red onions, & tomatoes. not what I was expecting but pretty flavourful indeed! maybe they will have become accustomed to customer service by then, because it’s a little shaky with the greeting and order taking, just be patient! that pattern happened with everyone next in line(it was real slow when we got there) until it got busy and they were forced to mind the registers. I think what’s weird about it is you see them like 10 feet away talking but they won’t come up or even look sometimes. I bet it happens because everyone takes so long to decide. if only someone would occasionally look up and acknowledge that people are ready or at least double check on us. just a weakness that I could see others being quite annoyed by. other than that they were very nice and checked up on us several times later. certainly left very, very full but with the urge to come back to try more new stuff soon!

Good food. Fast service(in terms of cooking) I came in at 230 so maybe it was after the lunch rush… but all the employees were sitting around eating with their families and friends(only a few people had uniforms on, lots of kids). Not sure if that’s kosher w the owner but it’s up to them. No one got up to get my order for a while… until this girl w glasses did… she seems to be the only one working up front. The others just kept eating or walking in and out of the restaurant. Hopefully they aren’t all on the company dollar! Food was tasty and fast tho! So people in the kitchen are working!

This is a fusion of Asian and Indian food. The best of both worlds come together at one spot. Large selection kind of overwhelming in trying to figure out what to have but more reasons to come back to experience the other selections… The staff was very helpful and the restaurant was clean and inviting… Walking in the door the curry aroma hit me as if I had arrived in little India… I am a true lover of curry! If you want to get your curry on Masala Wok is the place…

Uhhh this location is AWESOME. Here on a Saturday evening. The service was friendly, the food was delicious and they got our orders out of the kitchen in no time flat! I’m not sure where the negative reviewers are coming from… The place is clean, well kept and pleasant. Give me more Samosas!

Drove over to Houston for a work meeting and stopped here to eat beforehand. Walking in the place was nice and I was excited as I love both Asian as well as Indian food. I arrived at an off hour, around 3:30, but the lady behind the counter wasn’t a lot of help nor was she all that nice. Nothing rude, just not all that interested in being there or talking to me it seemed. I ordered the hot and sour soup as an appetizer and the kung pao chicken as the main. A few minutes later they both came out at the same time. Great. The soup was one of the worst that I have ever tried. Bland with a funny soapy taste. I tried adding soy sauce and hot chili sauce but it was truly inedible. I left the whole bowl and as I type this, I’m debating about whether I’ll say anything before I leave. The kung pao chicken is pretty good, but it’s really oily. Think Pei Wei with more grease. Flavor is good and the ingredients seem fresh, just too greasy for my take. This place did nothing for me… I won’t be returning and I caution everyone to avoid the soup.

An A-OK stop on the long slog back from NOLA to Atx. I’m not an Indian food expert but a lifetime in London(the English have the best curry houses in the world) and a couple of months in India have made me a devoted curry eater. I love curry. You have to truly bollocks it up to make me sad so I was pretty content with my lacklustre vegetable samosa and chicken tikka massala — even though the CTM tasted like someone had added massala paste to a can of tomato soup. It wasn’t bad. It just wasn’t what it’s normally like. It’s strangely Spartan but clean. And the staff are friendly. Not a place I’d recommend but a perfectly acceptable roadside stop off, a hella lot better than Applebee’s!
