This was the worst Subway I’ve been to. The food was bland and salty and the two employees working were both hacking and sneezing the whole time I was there. The lady sneezed into her arm midway through making my food and didn’t even change gloves. I was thoroughly grossed out watching them both coughing all over the food line while I was eating my meal. I would never return to this location.

We were reading for a cheap and familiar meal at a point in our trip, and this was a great option. The woman who prepared our sandwiches was friendly, and made them to perfection. I’d even say that the quality of the food at this Subway was better than that of the Subway we have back home on the mainland.

Typically my favorite subway but this afternoon it took the teen worker several minutes before he was able to straggle on up from the back room and acknowledge our presence. No «I’ll be right up» or anything. We were seriously starting to think something bad might have happened to the employees. Not sure if he was high or drunk or what but the rest of our transaction seemed to be a struggle for him. I worked in food as a teen myself so I’m usually easy on the kids with their first jobs but geez. Whoever owns or runs this subway might want to check up on their employees every once and awhile. Definitely got the impression they were just hoping we’d turn around and walk back out without ordering our food. Seemed we interrupted something more entertaining going on in back.

Hey it’s Subway BUT with Island spirt. Employees were great and after spending a ton of cash at the Grand Wailea down the road this place is a gem!!!
The food is well… Subway…prices are great. BUT for this unit it’s all about the employees. We came in a couple times on our trip and the team recognized us. You have got to love that!!!
Nice spirt of Ohana!!!
