Jersey Mike’s

my first time visit. i tried the super mini on ww w/​mike’s way seasoning. totally enjoyed it. very filling for a mini. i tasted a little rosemary in the oil dressing: subtle but nice. the guys forgot to add jalapeño s but maybe that was fortunate. they grilled the bread for me & now i now i have a local fave «mini» sub. i’ll be going back & letting friends know about it.

My first time at a Jersey Mike’s so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I would, however, have expected my order to be correct.
I ordered the club, add salami. For my toppings I asked for lettuce, tomato, olive oil, vinegar and mayo.
Well, I think they were too busy trying to get their «schtick» down to worry about getting orders right. Despite me telling the person putting my toppings on what I wanted — three times — when I got it home, there was not a tomato slice to be found. I should have kept a better eye on him, but was busy paying for our order. I also didn’t get any bacon on my sandwich — which comes on the club. I also found the turkey meat to be very salty and ended up pulling it of my sandwich.
I also got a few cookies to satisfy my sweet tooth. The sugar cookie definitely needed more baking time — it was doughy in the middle. Chocolate chip was «ok».
Next time I want a sub in Kyle I will go to Subway across the street. Better and less expensive. Sure wish they would have put in a Jimmy John’s instead.
Hopefully it was just-​opened jitters or kinks that need to be worked out, but they really need to pay more attention to what the customers want.
